Cesario's Ratings and Reviews
Una cocina de los mas normal. Sin gustos especiales. Niguna sorpresa. Cualquier cocinero amateur cocinaria mejor. Como conocedor diria que a este resto le falta un cocinero con pasion por dar de comer a gente como un regalo con amor y profesion. Absolutamente normal! No volveria
Four of us dined at Cesario's to celebrate my birthday. We all enjoyed our meals and left nothing on our plates! My Chicken Marsala with Risotto was delicious. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan which I tasted and it was also very good. Our waitress was cordial and service was great. I am pretty picky with food because I consider myself a good cook. The only thing that I could say was not perfect was that my chicken could have been more tender. There were three of what I would call cutlets of breast meat that would seem to be of that size due to pounding them which would have made them more tender. So I'm not sure why the chicken was a little too firm. But the Marsala was so delicious that I was able to put that aside and enjoy the meal.
We were in San Francisco for a conference and decided to go to a play at the San Francisco Playhouse and we wanted to get a little dinner first. We made an excellent choice! Dinner was quick and delicious!! i had the butternut squash ravioli which was delicious and my sister had the Eggplant Parmesan which was also delicious!! i had the house Pinot Grigio. We were happy that we had booked our reservation on Open Table as the dining room filled up quickly. It was a little loud when it was full but we were fine and we made it to our show on time. Thank you for the delicious dinner and wonderful attentive service.
Dinner at Cesario Brasserie on a Friday evening was a delightful experience. The restaurant is relatively small with a modest decor and a friendly staff. The resulting environment is that of a small family operated village restaurant. The meat lasagna was excellent. The price was reasonable considering the location near Union Square. Recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable dinner, but do not expect a fine dining experience.
Went here on NYE so expected it to be busy. We were sat within 5 minutes of our reservation time which was great. Service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken parm which was well seasoned and very flavorful. My wife had the smoked salmon pasta which she also very much enjoyed. Overall a great experience.
Had dinner on New Year's Ev e with 6 of us. The place was packed (not unexpected) which was fine. Service was great. Food was very good. But they've got tables crammed into every possible space. Because our table was large, we were in a fine spot but some of the tables were tucked into spots not intended for tables. Anyway, food was good. Calamari excellent. Lasagna very good.
We ate here on Christmas Eve. It was the first time we dined here and we were very impressed. The food is excellent and the service as well. For such a busy night they were gracious and attentive. We will be coming back through out the year! And the manager was very accommodating as we had reservations at seven but wanted to come earlier and he got us in right away. The atmosphere is great- not too big and noisy but lively enough. It has a cozy feel to it- perfect for a special occasion or just a delicious meal!
Overall, was good, not great, & we arrived few minutes early, saw open table, they refused to seat us! That table sat empty for more than 30 minutes.
Cannot believe they made us wait. Food was on the bland side, but ok. Was crowded, but it was in central location. Our server was very good, but again, cannot believe they don’t move tables along, even when we arrived just before our reservation.
Coming from NYC, it just makes no sense how a business doesn’t fill every seat as their reservations enter, rather than let us stand & wait, while staring at an empty table the entire time. And to boot, there is no waiting area! You’re pushed outside.
