Wonderful tiny place with excellent food and service. We enjoyed every bite. We’d recommend it wholeheartedly.
Wonderful and reasonably priced
Cesario's is one of my favorite Italian restaurant - and in San Francisco that is saying a lot. It is small and can be (and was) crowded, but they handle the crowd well. The bar is limited. I had a very good veal marsala. They have good lasagna as well as piccata and parmesan dishes.
First visit. Wonderful meal. Wonderful service. We will be back! I can see how they’ve stayed in business for 20 years.
Ended our day exploring San Francisco and thankful we had reservations. They got us in right away and on time for our reservation. We ordered the bruschetta and caprese for appetizers and they were amazing. For dinner, we had chicken parmigiana, NY Strip and spinach ravioli and all dishes were delicious. Chicken parm was done if the best we have ever had! Service was ok at best. Had the service been better, this would have been 5 stars for sure as the food deserves 10/10!
Muy buena comida, un restaurante sin pretensiones, muy buen servicio, definitivamente volveré,
Started with Parmesan Garlic Bread (cheesy and garlicy); had the Swordfish Special as recommended by EVE (she never let me run out of water) and the Swordfish (was not over cooked or dry); with the Wilted Spinach and Garlic (asked for extra garlic and got it) finished with the Lemoncello cake (interesting but good) I am not much of a desert person.
The restaurant was small but quaint, the sauce/gravy was ok. Dessert was delicious!
The salmon piccata was amazing!!
Service was timely and efficient. Staff was friendly and attentive.
Food was very good.
Prices were great for the quality of the meals.
This is an incredible hidden gem in San Francisco. Small, cozy and the food was to die for.
Excellent service. The lobster ravioli was wonderful.
Arrived for our 7:15 reservation to find a full restaurant and no tables open. After waiting outside for 30 minutes we were finally seated. Service was slow but polite. Food was mixed with my wife having lasagna that was cold in the middle. My penne bolognese did not have much flavor. My son did enjoy his linguine with clams.
Enjoyed our dinner at Cesario's. Food and service were excellent. Ambiance was good, but not 5 stars. Had a good selection of moderately priced wines.
This place is very very small and does not practice social distancing in anyway. They had a different party sit right next to us like 2 inches apart(not even 2 ft). Also place is dingy
Busy place for dinner. Make reservations because its worth it. Veal Parmesan was really good. Gson had NY Strip steak. Loved it. Staff was attentive and checked on us Very often. Good food, good staff, good overall experience. Recommend.
Had reservations, but had to wait a little. Small place. Was a little nervous as had tickets to a show, but told we had to leave by certain time and they made it happen. Overall food and service was great.
Live this place. Skip dessert. Polenta lasagne to die for.
The food was amazing. Very cozy atmosphere. Maybe like 10 tables in the whole place.
Delicious dishes! Loved the salmon piccata and butternut squash ravioli! Highly recommend
Father’s Day. Great good. Ample portions. Wide selection of food. Quiet efficient service.
Server was very nice. Food was really mediocre. We were very surprised given level of reviews. Only reason we don’t give higher for service is 30 min wait for our reservation and then trying to turn our table
The food was wonderful. Had the chicken piccata and squash ravioli and was very flavorful. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions with a reservation and they have always been very good about seating my family shortly after the reservation time except today. We were a bit disappointed with the over an hour wait pass our reservation time and the food delay.
What a great quaint neighborhood corner restaurant except it is in SF near USquare. Excellent service, extreme value and made food upon request off menu. A great cannot miss place
Stick to the Italian menu -- the salads were disappointing, as was the ministrone.
My first time at Cesario's, and I was super impressed! The beef strogonoff was the best I have ever eaten (and I have tried many versions, homemade and resto)! The mixed salad was wonderful as well. The atmosphere is really wonderful, homey and exotic at the same time. The owner and my waitron were both attentive and friendly. Overall, I was happy and satisfied by my meal. I can't wait to bring my wife with me the next time in San Franciso!
Awesome customer service. Sweet people working there. Make a reservation bc the place is crowded. The food was amazing and quick
We had 2 amazing dinners here during our week long vacation in San Francisco. Super close to our hotel, charming locale, delicious food. Portions were generous and everything tasted delicious. Both nights we started with caprese salad- pure freshness! Just the right amount of basil and balsamic!
The 2nd visit I had minestrone and a chicken Caesar. Both were delicious. Soup was hot and veggie filled. Salad had lots of chicken and just the right amount of dressing. We finished off dinner with a fabulous fruit dessert- with a fancy name I can’t remember!
Good neighborhood find. Food OK, portions large. Place was cramped and very dated.
It’s was terrific food and service.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Cozy, locals favorite.
Best Bolognese, ravioli, parmesan, and desserts.
The food and the ambiance were great. The servers were very friendly and accomodating. The only drawback is that the food takes too long to come out. Overall, the restaurant is cozy.
Wonderful paella! Service was outstanding. We had a person in a wheelchair plus a baby in our party and the staff made accommodations in their small space. We had a great evening.
Arrived at 7:45 for an 8:00 reservation. Had to wait until around 8:30 for a table. Service was fast and friendly and food was spectacular. You can get food this good for 3x the price in the city so I was very happy with our bill. I left my debit card and the restaurant returned it the next day. Thank you.
This is a charming "old Italy" place. The staff was very welcoming...great location! The food was delicious....one of our friends who was with us had the ravioli and said it was the best he had ever had in his life!! We had a great table, great service!! I had the vongole and had at least 2 doz clams...delicious!!
Started with the Pear Salad (good), then the Truffle Gnocchi(outstanding), then the Tuscan Chicken(very good), finished with the Tiramisu (tasty)
Surprised, have gone the the theater next door many times and this place was always crowded pre-theater. Finally got to try Cesarios as my after Burke Williams Spa Day eatery (Puccini&Pinetti) has closed. Had the Lobster Ravioli, Steamed Clams & Mussels, the Garlic Parmesan bread and the Limoncello cake. Have found a new after spa dining place. service was great, COVID-19 was followed. I will be back.
