Father’s Day. Great good. Ample portions. Wide selection of food. Quiet efficient service.
Server was very nice. Food was really mediocre. We were very surprised given level of reviews. Only reason we don’t give higher for service is 30 min wait for our reservation and then trying to turn our table
The food was wonderful. Had the chicken piccata and squash ravioli and was very flavorful. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions with a reservation and they have always been very good about seating my family shortly after the reservation time except today. We were a bit disappointed with the over an hour wait pass our reservation time and the food delay.
What a great quaint neighborhood corner restaurant except it is in SF near USquare. Excellent service, extreme value and made food upon request off menu. A great cannot miss place
Stick to the Italian menu -- the salads were disappointing, as was the ministrone.
My first time at Cesario's, and I was super impressed! The beef strogonoff was the best I have ever eaten (and I have tried many versions, homemade and resto)! The mixed salad was wonderful as well. The atmosphere is really wonderful, homey and exotic at the same time. The owner and my waitron were both attentive and friendly. Overall, I was happy and satisfied by my meal. I can't wait to bring my wife with me the next time in San Franciso!
Awesome customer service. Sweet people working there. Make a reservation bc the place is crowded. The food was amazing and quick
We had 2 amazing dinners here during our week long vacation in San Francisco. Super close to our hotel, charming locale, delicious food. Portions were generous and everything tasted delicious. Both nights we started with caprese salad- pure freshness! Just the right amount of basil and balsamic!
The 2nd visit I had minestrone and a chicken Caesar. Both were delicious. Soup was hot and veggie filled. Salad had lots of chicken and just the right amount of dressing. We finished off dinner with a fabulous fruit dessert- with a fancy name I can’t remember!
Good neighborhood find. Food OK, portions large. Place was cramped and very dated.
It’s was terrific food and service.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Cozy, locals favorite.
Best Bolognese, ravioli, parmesan, and desserts.
The food and the ambiance were great. The servers were very friendly and accomodating. The only drawback is that the food takes too long to come out. Overall, the restaurant is cozy.
Wonderful paella! Service was outstanding. We had a person in a wheelchair plus a baby in our party and the staff made accommodations in their small space. We had a great evening.
Arrived at 7:45 for an 8:00 reservation. Had to wait until around 8:30 for a table. Service was fast and friendly and food was spectacular. You can get food this good for 3x the price in the city so I was very happy with our bill. I left my debit card and the restaurant returned it the next day. Thank you.
This is a charming "old Italy" place. The staff was very welcoming...great location! The food was delicious....one of our friends who was with us had the ravioli and said it was the best he had ever had in his life!! We had a great table, great service!! I had the vongole and had at least 2 doz clams...delicious!!
Started with the Pear Salad (good), then the Truffle Gnocchi(outstanding), then the Tuscan Chicken(very good), finished with the Tiramisu (tasty)
Surprised, have gone the the theater next door many times and this place was always crowded pre-theater. Finally got to try Cesarios as my after Burke Williams Spa Day eatery (Puccini&Pinetti) has closed. Had the Lobster Ravioli, Steamed Clams & Mussels, the Garlic Parmesan bread and the Limoncello cake. Have found a new after spa dining place. service was great, COVID-19 was followed. I will be back.
This restaurant has the best Italian food in the Bay Area. We were a large party of 13 and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be returning here again when we visit San Francisco. I give Cesario’s a 5 star rating!!
Food was excellent. Paella and salmon piccata both wonderful and generous. Service was outstanding. COVID cleaning very evident, however it was a little crowded and tables not spaced far enough apart for my taste. We would definitely go back.
Our server, Eve, was very attentive. She recommended the perfect entrees for us. Loved the Cesar Salad!!
Best veal parmigiana in many years! Wonderful meal.
This is one of my favorites- always good service and great food. Small authentic Italian restaurant- worth visiting.
We had a great time enjoying good company in a fun environment with delicious food. The staff was very good too. We look forward to our next visit!
It was our 10 year reunion with my 2 best friends from high school. We ate here for our last night in San Francisco! The food was out of this world! We had many glasses of wine, a four course meal, & never felt rushed once! This was during covid & we all felt very comfortable with the space between the tables. Everything was very clean and the waitress was phenomenal. We were even able to take 2 wine bottles back to our hotel. 100% recommend Cesario’s as a small family authentic Italian cuisine!
We had to wait almost 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation at 8pm and there were still people with 7:30 reservations waiting. We also sat for a good 20-25 minutes before a server came to our table to get our drink order. The restaurant is not very large and both servers passed our tables numerous times and didn’t say anything. The food & drinks were subpar. Would not return.
They wouldn’t sit us although we confirmed the appointment twice. On top of everything they were extremely rude
I was denied service because they overbooked their tables. I showed up right on time but all the tables were already taken. They did not apologize for the inconvenience or anything of that sort. I had to drive all the way back with my partner. I hope OpenTable does something about these reckless businesses and do not ruin other people's special days.
they canceled our reservation without telling hs
Reservations were canceled along with all indoor dining. Was given option to sit outside near an sliding door that automatically opens and closes anytime you move. Food was cold! Soda tasted like carbonated water. Waitress was not happy and criticized the menu herself. Would never dine here again, overall just a horrible experience.
The veal was stellar. The seafood paella special was so full of seafood, there's no way at 22$ they are making any money. Drinks were super good, and 8$!!
Will definitely be back. !!
Fantastic food, service, and ambiance. Very friendly staff ensured all of our needs were met without being intrusive. I really appreciated the reasonably priced martinis. I’ll be back.
The food was amazing and wonderful service. Cute and quaint restaurant with nice ambiance. Would definitely go back!
One of my favorite local places. Good food, excellent service and reasonably priced. Check out their specials!
Food is great abs service is always fantastic! Such a great neighborhood restaurant...
Authentic Italian food, was delicious! Servers were attentive.
The best pasta dish I have ever had!
A very good local Italian restaurants with great food and wine selections with great service.
Just another cheap joint with high prices. Don’t go there
