A great little italian restaurant. We have gone there several times and have never been disappointed. Service is fine. Try the Lobster Ravioli - definitely
Excellent ingredients and food preparation from beginning to end!
Excellent service. Cozy ambiance.
Very good food, menu and service in a great location
Service very good! Friendly and efficient. Food was rather meh…somewhat flavorful but not something we would recommend or return to ourselves. The cosmo tasted like cosmo mix with no vodka. The pear and Gorgonzola salad had unripe pears, very little cheese which did not taste like Gorgonzola and a very bland dressing. The veal piccata was also bland not very piccata. No zing. Felt like we paid high prices for cheap product.
We’ve been coming to Cesario’s for many years when we’re in SF, and it has always been reliably good. This was our first visit since the pandemic, and we’re happy to say it’s as enjoyable as ever. Our server was especially attentive.
We always like to enjoy Cesario’s. Their Cuisine is Exquisite
Very tight - not Covid friendly at all. Food was ok - not great. Service was good. Not a full bar - just wine, beer and vodka (??) and although the website said $25 they charged $30 to uncork - something that took 2 seconds.
Love this place, I definitely would go back again.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Delicious food and friendly/competent service. We'll definitely return.
The food was great, and so was the wine. Loved the tiramisu. Would recommend!
We had a wonderful dinner at Cesario’s. We were seated immediately at a nice table & there was social distancing. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. She brought out bread & butter, a very nice touch in 2021! I had the carpaccio, tasty tender slices of beef. My husband had the minestrone soup, which he loved. The chicken piccata had the perfect blend of lemon and capers. We will definitely be back!!
Service was unfriendly, food was very basic & flavorless. Wine list small & not what they market it as, which was main reason for visit. Wine list confusing with many vintages out & replaced by new for same prices. Just not a good experience. Sat by boarded up window & red velvet curtains full of dirt & dust. Unpleasant dining
Quaint restaurant with amazing food and a cozy atmosphere. We had a wonderful time dining here for our business dinner, but also would be an ideal date night.
What a neighborhood gem! If I lived locally this would be my go-to restaurant. The menu is surprisingly expansive, lots of great looking choices. The appetizers and entrees we ordered were delicious, beautifully prepared, tasty but not heavy (which I think Italian food can sometimes be). Delicious desserts too! Perfect evening.
Started with a Cosmo and the Herbed Garlic & Parmesan Bread, then the weekly special Tilapia with a small salad and a side of Rock Shrimp. Finished with the Limoncello Cake. Eve did her usual great job (Tilapia was her idea) never needed to ask for more water. Did NOT like the side of Rock Shrimp (too much stuff) could taste all the added things but NOT the shrimp.
Very pleasant, nice service. Chicken was over cooked and yough
Quite worth it
Just not good. Food was quite poor. This is a restaurant that really needs to improve it quality on all levels.
We went to celebrate my birthday. The food was so yummy! We will go there again.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants. We visit Cesario’s regularly and the food / service are always top notch.
My wife and I happened across this restaurant, the food was excellent and the wine list very reasonable and of a great selection. Both our entrees were excellent, staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a great ambience. I would recommend this restaurant if in the area.
We love this restaurant and eat here every time we are in San Francisco. The service, food and prices are fabulous. Can’t wait to enjoy again. The food quality is top notch.
The food was absolutely wonderful! The beat Italian good we ate outside of Italy. The service was great! That will be our go to place whenever we visit San Francisco!
Authentic Italian without going to Little Italy. I throughly enjoyed my dinner here. I honestly just chose this location because of its vicinity to Union Square. However, I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter got lobster ravioli that was the best I have ever tasted. I got linguine carbonara that was top notch. My friend got a lemon pie that was absolutely delicious, as well.
This place is 3 blocks steeply downhill from Nob Hill but worth the hike down and back up afterwards. I just drank water where as my other half had water and 1 glass of Sauvignon Blanc Cedar Brook (misspelled as Ceder on the receipt). He started with the soup of the day, a cream of mushroom, which he said was very good and obviously freshly made. He had the daily special Fruitti Di Mare-a seafood dish with all the shells! I had the delicious Veal Saltimbocca with Penne Pasta. Server Alex, per the receipt, was attentive. He was originally from Persia (Iran) and very classy and great at his job! There were only 8 people dining while we were there: 1 table of 4, 2 singles, and us. They had a great picture of the fat lady singing so I am posting that with my review as well as other pictures of the food and location. Price in total was just $70 plus tax and tip, which is very good for a city like San Francisco. When we return, I would definitely consider a return visit if they're still in all my programs such as Open Table and idine. Grazie!
Good decent typical Italian place. Nothing incredible but overall very good. Standard dishes
One of my favorite Italian restaurants.
What a nice small restaurant. Good food and terrific personalized service. and convenient.
Really good all around—food, service, value
Wonderful SF lunch spot! Delicious food. Wonderful Service. Salmon, Lobster raviolis, and linguine pancetta were ALL delicious, as well as the dessert and cappuccino. easy parking garage a few doors up, was very convenient. we followed with the Van Gogh exhibit, which was 5 minutes away. Great day. close to union square as well, great place to eat if you are in the area. We will return :)
A little crowded BUT the food a d people was wonderful!
Tightly packed, no social distancing, dated atmosphere. Food was average
Very good food, comfy environment
We wanted a third bottle of prosecco but the they said there were no more (mmmm)
Cesario’s was a pleasant surprise. The Italian dishes we ordered were right on the mark for flavor. For dessert we ordered creme brûlée which was the perfect mixture of hard and warm on top while cold and creamy underneath we had a wonderful dinner that did not break the bank. Would highly recommend for an upscale dinner at a decent price!
Had lunch there it was pretty quiet, the ambiance and service were great, and the food was reasonably priced too.
Great food, service and experience!!!!
The food was delicious. Some of the best Italian we have had. Service was excellent. It was very crowded and we had to wait 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. But it was worth the wait and the host was very apologetic. We would definitely eat here again!
Traveling in SF, so impressed with the food and service that we went 2 of the 4 nights while there...wonderful place!
Great place, great food
We were greeted warmly by the host, expertly served and very much enjoyed the food (Lobster ravioli with two prawns!) and the cozy ambiance. We finished in plenty of time to make our show time. Thank you!
