Based upon other reviews, we decided to go to this restaurant. It was charming with great service, terrific food and reasonable prices. There were three of us and we ordered three different pastas. All were terrific.

The food is tasty, and the servers are friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. Would definitely return. The surf and turf dinner, and limoncello cake are excellent.

Bad experience overall. Server was OK bot other than that I have nothing to say positive. Food was average at best, the gentleman handling reservations and seating was overwhelmed, very tight seating, and little to no privacy. I’m confused how this restaurant received the good ratings it has received. We will not return.

The restaurant was very quiet throughout our visit however this meant we got even better service. Service was outstanding from start to finish with a lovely gentleman who served us. He was very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent. We had 2 courses each and both elders excellent quality, taste and value for money. We would definitely return.

Walked here from my Union Square hotel stay, so it was convenient and I was in the mood for Italian and Google showed 4 stars with pretty good reviews. It was my date night w my lady. Arrived around 7:45pm on Black Friday and place only had 1 other table guest, but then a few more guests arrived shortly after. Service was friendly and prompt. Menu offerings were typical for most Italian type food and prices were fair. Wine list was limited but was here more for the classic Italian food, rather than the wine, did order a glass of Chianti. Fresh soft bread was served before the meal, opted for the chicken parm w pasta (other option was mixed veggies). It was pretty tasty, very cheesy and pasta was al dente with a good marinara sauce. Also, opted for the appetizer cheese garlic bread, that was super good, warm and about 6 good size pieces. It's a small place that felt comfortable, classic, and warm with big windows to watch the city life. All in all a good dining experience. Give it a try if your in the n'hood. Unpretentious and good size portions.

Cesario’s was the best meal we had in San Francisco. The food was excellent and the service was great. If I have any complaint at all, is where we were sitting, it was a little cramped but manageable.

We loved the food. That is all of us except one person. I forgot what it was she had but it was a bland pasta dish. The waitress was pleasant but a bit abrupt with us. The owner of the restaurant was friendly and fun. We all agreed we would go back to this restaurant.

A very nice place to eat. Excellent food. The staff is a bit zealous in removing plates and food before finished. Recommendations by the waitress were beneficial. I would visit again for the food and ambiance.

This is the best Italian Restaurant I have ever eaten at. The chicken breast with penne and parmesan cream sauce was like nothing I had had before. It's a busy restaurant and when we showed up without a reservation the manager asked us to wait a few minutes and he would get us in. The staff are attuned to working a packed restaurant. They still smile and provide great service. We are in San Francisco for a week and I'm sure we will return with a reservation for a second evening before we leave. It is SUPERB food.

I was there for a Sunday date dinner! The food was great! The only complaint we have was the long time it took to get the food. It was worth the wait tho. The space at our table was a little bit tight, but in general it was a good service.

I have always loved Cesarios, and in the past the food was always great. But something has changed. I think they had a change in the kitchen staff and now the recipes, or preparation, are not at the same level.

One of SF’s old guard eateries at its best. Just off Union Square, It feels like a quaint bistro full of delicious and classic Italian dishes. Cozy environment and friendly servers. Happy to see not everything in San Francisco has changed nor been swept away by the city’s depressing degradation. Enjoy this this little gem of a restaurant.
