About

The lively bonhomie of the bar area warmly envelops guests as they enjoy an aperitif at the bar or dine leisurely at the café tables, while the chimes of clinking glasses and the Art Deco sconces in the dining room invole the transporting ambiance of a bustling bouchon in Lyon. In the summer, enjoy an afternoon cocktail on the charming outdoor terrace while experiencing the spectacular urban sunsets and la joie de vivre.

Come check our after work tapas menu from 4PM thru 7:30PM with new cocktails and wines selection.

Cercle Rouge features an accomplished menu of bistro staples, such as French onion soup gratinée, steak frites and escargots. Alongside these classics and an important selection of salads, an inspired terroir cuisine featuring such house specialties as house-made foie gras, cheese boards, and an unforgettable côte-de-boeuf for two.

I have been here several times and always have enjoyed the friendly service and great food. Recommend the steak tartare, mussels, and cassoulet as well as the duck and chicken - I guess most everything my various friends and I have had were enjoyable.

The soup was modestly portioned and the cassaulat lacked a depth of flavor.

Went late on a Friday night & was not crowded. Lovely decor, service was not bad but not attentive for the price. Food was good but not amazing, duck break a bit too salty, but would try again.

Very good French restaurant with an Old World atmosphere. The foie gras, cassoulet and mouless were all superb.

I love the fact that they have a magician there to provide entertainment for the kids
and that way parents and friends can enjoy their meals and conversations.

Service is always pleasant. Food is fabulous (brunch). Nutella crepes is the kids favorite (only listed on dessert menu so ask). Always fun because lots of families and the balloon/magician in the back to entertain the kiddies while you wait for your meal. And the in-laws (grandpa & nana) enjoy it too.

We are longtime Tribeca residents and when tourists pack The Odeon, this is a great alternative. It is authentic and not a scene.

Great little find for classic Bistro food. Quiet at lunch, but as in Paris in August, everyone's away. Great attentive service.

Unfortunately we were dining during a toddlers birthday party and certain children were permitted to scream at whim without any repercussions from the adults that were present

You instantly get transported to a café in France. It's as close to going overseas and still be in NYC. Not only is the space reminiscent but the food is very authentic as well. Great mussels, quiche, pate, and foie gras !! Can't wait to try desserts next time.

The overall experience was not so great. The service provider was nice but very slow. The bottle of Rose Wine we ordered was warm. The chicken wings were tasty but pricey for what you get.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was great. Not crowded, lobster club was amazing and so was the service. Will definitely go back.
