It was a bit disappointing, food was cold .

After reading that the outdoor dining set-up was great, we decided to try Cenzino for the first time. It will not be the last time, we were very satisfied with everything ! Tables were well spaced, and we didn't feel like we were in a parking lot, rather in a dining room. The menu, although heavily Italian, had numerous choices that were just a little out of the ordinary Italian restaurant. My short rib special was suberb, the meat so tender, and the mashed potatoes were perfect. Service was pleasant and professional ( I lost a meatball, I did not sneeze like the song says, but it rolled on the floor). Our server promptly replaced it which was very nice. Desserts were delicious. Open table reservations were very easy and accomodating.

The food was very good as was the service. Both were top notch! Ambience was 3 only because of covid. They erected a roof with plastic sheeting walls and tables and chairs and are doing the best they can to have you be outside. It is not ideal but a very good workaround. I look forward to being indoors again post covid as the interior decor is very nice. The food is very high quality and the menu is imaginative. We'll be back again soon!!

They also let you bring small quiet dogs outside. They were very accommodating. My visiting son's dog (12 lbs. Puppy) stayed quietly in his carrier under the table.

Service and food are always excellent here; outstanding facility for outdoor dining.

We had a lovely Easter lunch there and since it was our third Easter doing that, it’s become a tradition. The food is delish and it’s a warm ambiance.

We have been here a few times and everything from the food, to the ambiance and service has been impeccable. Great experience every time. One of our favorites on our restaurant rotation.

Overall a really good dining experience. Food, service and table were all great. We had an early reservation (5pm), only because that was what was available. Folks at Cenzino’s did not rush us at all, which hasn’t been the experience we have had at other restaurants with an early reservation. Well done Cenzino.

We died at 5:90 and the dining room was empty. Perfect for our first dinner in a restaurant in a year. The food was excellent as was the service.!

As always, the service and food was phenomenal.

We arrived a few minutes before our time slot, walked in, gave our name. They had a table ready for us, set for 2.

The wine selection was superb, the appetizer was incredible. Main course was portioned perfectly.

I found my new favorite Italian place!

I was taking someone out to dinner for his 40th and asked for a private, cozy table and they gave us the best table in a separate little nook. It was perfect! The food was delicious. We have fried calamari, risotto with shrimp and they even made him ravioli with vodka sauce. It was amazing.

Best Northern Italian food in Bergen County !
Reservations went without a hitch.

Such a friendly and neighborhood restaurant....food is exceptional! Great specials....they do a great job offering indoor or outdoor dining and providing a safe and warm atmosphere.

Had a great meal, my server was outstanding, owner came to table to ask how everything was. Will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I enjoyed a very solid dinning experience, one that we have come to expect at Cenzino's. They have done a very good job of dealing with the pandemic requirements and it was as normal as could be, considering the circumstances.

Wonderful food....however we were in the tent and it was freezing. They are supposed to fix that issue this week.

Fantastic experience. Our waiter Rob was great and made sure the 6 of us always had what we needed. For apps we had Tagliata di manzo & tonno, shrimp cocktail, crab appetizer special, all plates were emplty, For entrees we had: dover sole, beef wellington special, zuppa di pesce fra diavolo, lemon sole and rissotto. Again, all of our meals were fantastic. I should also mention the wine selection is great and we enjoyed all of our drinks.

We decided to try Cenzino because of its homemade Italian food. The meatball appetizer was excellent. The ossibucco was just okay as were the raviolis. For the price, we hoped for a something a little better. But we are tough critics as we are chefs too. The service was great and we are happy to support restaurants in this tough time!

Food was fabulous as always. our table had veal chop and comment was best she ever ate. Two lamb chops. Fantastic and halibut -delish. Real upscale Italian food.

Difficult to have a comfortable meal outside in the evening as the weather gets colder. Restaurant is excellent but outside dining is presenting some difficult challenges.

Fantastic service and pretty outside seating with tent and heat being piped in. Very comfortable.
