We love Centrolina!!! Tonight is our 5th anniversary and we had hoped to dine in but due to coronavirus we were not able to do so. We stocked up on Centrolina market items like housemade pasta, Bolognese, veal ragu, quiche, olive tapenade, robiola cheese and it is SO GOOD. We miss you Centrolina!!!
It’s such a great restaurant, wonderful service and outstanding food
Absolutely delicious pasta. Next time I'm in DC I'll be back.
Delightful. Being Tuesday lunch probably helped nose level and service. Loved the location!
Wonderful food. Particularly the pastas. We had a quiet room so noise not bad. Server Tim was terrific
One of their 5-6 pasta dishes on the menu already had run out before 7pm even rolled around. Service was not particularly great — long waits and such. Food was quite good but the overall experience was simply not at the level that had made this a DC foodie destination. Sorry to say. Maybe just an off night? But not so interested in going back to see if that’s the case.
I love Centrolina, but I feel like the quality has gone down slightly since a few years ago. I also made a reservation over a month in advance and was seated in a back room that had only one other table. It felt like a last minute effort to add more tables to the restaurant and didn't have the same ambiance as being seated in the main dining area. I wish they would remove that private room altogether as an option unless requested.
Great service. Our group enjoyed pasta dishes and a great Negroni.
Truly excellent and innovative fresh food in a very comfortable setting. Chestnut
Pasta and cacio Pepe scone were real
Highlights. I hadn’t been since they redid
The place but will return soon.
Superb service and outstanding food. Truly best in class.
The waitress kept trying to up sell us with champagne. The seafood platter was disgusting. I love traditional Italian food but the grigliata was inedible. Not worth the hype.
Superb in every way.
Arty is a rockstar server! Huge props to his service and genuineness.
Very good food. Excellent service.
I ordered pasta seafood. It had little bit small piece of fish and octopus. Pasta tested very hard and oily. My friend order grill fish and was good.
Dinner at Centrolina was delicious but unusually slow. We waited for a while after our reservation time for a table due to previous guests, although the restaurant staff were extremely gracious about it. Then our food was pretty slow in arriving. Nonetheless, looking forward to going back for the deliciousness.
Awesome bar experience followed by awesome pasta
I eat out frequently in Washington, and Centrolina is at the top of my list. Consistently excellent. Wonderful pastas made with a knowledge of the tradition and with inventiveness. As a second, I go for whatever is the crudo of the day--most recently, spada served with radishes and other vegetables sliced paper thin--simply delicious. And stunning desserts--in my most recent visit a panna cotta made with babeurre. All in all, not to be missed.
One of the best dining options City Center has to offer. Kudos to Chef Amy and the team.
Food was excellent and they were very attentive to the food allergies of the dining party. Server was very well informed and gave beautiful descriptions of items when asking for more information.
The hostess was a bit rude and arrogant. You would have thought she was a 3 Michelin star chef. Other than that the food is always excellent each and every time I’ve been there.
Fabulous food and wonderful service
Delicious from start to finish! Adored the Fettucine and flourless cake + pear sorbet combo!
amazing experience, food is top notch, service superb
Fabulous on all counts!!! Food and service were exceptional! Thank you.
It was more than a meal, it was an experience. Such a special place.
It was fantastic as always. The food, service and overall ambiance make this our favorite restaurant in DC. A great date night outing.
This was my first time dining at Centrolina on the recommendation of a work colleague. Modern, welcoming atmosphere with excellent service and delicious food. We had a window seat overlooking Palmer Alley, and started by sharing the burrata and a Caesar salad. For entrées, my partner chose the mushroom fettuccine and I had the scallops—both delicious. Nice cocktail and wine list, too! I will definitely be back and highly recommend Centrolina.
Delicious food and great, knowledgeable waiter that helped us order. Food beautifully plated and everything was delicious!
I am always trying new things and make sure to save room for dessert!
Great experience. Food and service was wonderful. We will definitely go back.
Good but waited 10+ minutes before service checked in
Fun friendly restaurant. Excellent service and very good food - and cocktails!
We had reservations for table for 2 and even though 5 minutes late we were seated quickly.
Wait staff was attentive and not overbearing.
The food was delicious.
This has become a solid go-to restaurant in my neighborhood.
We were trying to fins where to have dinner, we booked the reservation and was and incredible experience. Food delish and service great!
This was our first outing to Centrolina. We went because it was written up in the Washingtonian Top 100. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh, well prepared and presented - and DELISH. I do want to give a shout out to TIM our waiter. He was amazing. He was thorough in providing details of the food, was there when we needed him - like squeezing out the last drop of wine from our bottle and super friend and kind. Overall, great experience. THANK YOU!
A few shining moments, but overall the food was ho-hum. The service and ambiance were pleasant. A nice night out, but wouldn’t rush back.
I have wanted to eat at Centrolina for years and was thrilled when we were able to get a reservation within a couple of days. The food was amazing but I felt as though our waiter could have been a little more attentive. We were seated at a table with no napkins and when we asked him for napkins, he could not understand the request (we are both native English speakers so language was not an issue). When our appetizer came and we still didn’t have napkins, we asked the server for napkins and he understood we were missing table linens and furnished them for us. Later our waiter came back with cocktail napkins, having not understood our request and not noticed the table was not properly set.
Excellent great food great service
