Centro Latin Kitchen's relaxing, modern eatery and fresh take on Latin cuisine make it the ideal restaurant for digging into some exotic eats with friends. Inventive appetizers include the queso fundido with pumpkin seed pipian, the sofrito braised beef picadillo empanada and the shrimp and cobia ceviche. Popular entrée items, such as the chicken mole burrito, the goat cheese-stuffed poblano with sweet potato-plantain hash and the smoked citrus pork shoulder poc chuc, speak to Centro Latin Kitchen's commitment to authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. For a sweet treat, try the "la fabulosa", with coconut fried bananas, caramel and pistachio ice cream. The name says it all!
Enjoy the tantalizing Latin American fare with a one of Centro Latin Kitchen's signature cocktails, like the lucky devil, crafted with tequila, passion fruit puree, morita chile and lime.
Ever since I discovered Centro in Jan 2016, I have been back numerous times! The food is delicious. The combination of ingredients are unique and tasty. Love the chorizo and sweet potato tacos! Sounds strange but I'm glad I tried it. Every time I go back I get that! It's even on the Happy Hour menu, which is a great value.
I was happy to find menu options that were interesting and not heavy. Centro offered a lively, casual atmosphere with excellent food.
We had a wonderful time! We went for a special occasion and had several waiters and even the manager tell us our costumes were great. The manager even specifically thanked us for choosing Centro for our special occasion. I would absolutely go back again.
The cazuela with chorizo was delicious. Super affordable kids menu too. Really enjoyed ourselves.
We went for Sunday brunch. Food was tasty. Nice atmosphere. Next time we'll try the outer dining area; covered but with natural light.
Centro is always a guaranteed upbeat experience. It's my go-to place for drinks and dinner with girls as well as casual date night with husband. Addicted to the margs: not too sweet and just enough tequila!
Our server was really attentive without hovering and was very accommodating regarding my dairy allergy. Great deal for happy hour.
I've been to Snooze, the Buff, Lucile's, etc. many times but had never tried Centro. The ladies and I decided to try it because we heard about their brunch HH from 930am to 1130am. We will definitely be returning! I ordered the HH breakfast burrito for $6 which was huge and fantastic, and most of my table ordered the centro cazuelita, which seemed like a "healthier" option, and they all said was great (though I think some of them were jealous of my breakfast burrito). We also ordered the $4 fried bananas as an app for the table and those were outstanding. Cheap and delicious and good service, can't ask for better.
The food was good with a few twists but not so much that my favorite dishes are unrecognizable. The service was good as our waiter was friendly and attentive.
I have food allergies. I listed all my allergies in the reservation giving the restaurant ample time to prepare for me. When I arrived and went to order they told me all I could have was there two salads. Apparently all there proteins are marinated ahead of time. You'd think since they knew I was coming they could have left a protein plain for me. After much coaxing I got them to make a plain shrimp taco (shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese). However when it arrived the tacos had red onions all over them (one of my serious allergies)! Needless to say I wasn't impressed, the food was mediocre and the restaurant was not accommodating at all. You'd think a chef at a fancy Latin kitchen would actual cook the food and be able to make a special dish for an allergy guest, not just put items that are pre-made on the grill all night.
