Very nice, as usual.
Don't be put off by the outside, I was but when my partner made me go in and we were delighted. It is small and darkly lit inside a little treasure. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was an absolute delight. We had two appetizers Moules Mariniere , Warm Alpine Raclette salt baked potatoes, cornichons and pickled pearl onions and shared a main course of the Vermont Raised Berkshire Pork Chop green lentils de puy, rapini, baby carrots and grain mustard creme fraiche. This was cooked to perfection and very juicy (so glad we decided to share then we had bread pudding and White Wine Poached Pear
house made ricotta, caramel. both desserts were mouth watering and rich and delish.
I cannot recommend this place enough, the food, atmosphere and staff made for an excellent evening. 10 stars!
This was our second visit, we love the place. The food is outstanding, great service.
We had a date night here, and it was great. My husband liked the beer selection, and there was something for every taste on the menu. Wait staff attentive and well versed on the beer selections, and made recommendations. Casual, yet cozy.
Came here for Valentine's Day and we couldn't have been happier. The service was fantastic and the food was spectacular. Truly a perfect way to spend the holiday at a local restaurant.
Food was great
I love the food and atmosphere at Central Kitchen. The menu is always changing and everything I have eaten there has been creative and terrific. The staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient. It is everything I want and need in a restaurant.
A pleasant, well-run and consistent place for dinner and a drink in Central Square. Menu is brief, but imaginative; service is always terrific; wine and cocktail list, also brief, is also thoughtful. Food is very good - dishes like cod with clams have unusual touches that show there's a chef back there. Good value and enjoyable meal.
Solid menu but nothing too interesting or daring. The brined chicken was a little on the sweet side. The cod was good. The vegetarian option was just okay.
All of the recommendations were excellent. The mussels are the best! The wine is is fine but won’t break the bank. Can’t wait for the next time!
Great tasting food with a creative twist. The best chicken I had in a very long time.
We love Central Kitchen. Delicious food that is not pretentious or over priced.
Awesome dining experience, very rude bouncer outside at their sister restaurant Brick and Mortar.
We went here before seeing a show. The restaurant was dimly lit and quiet (we did go very early Im not sure if the restaurant stays this way) and our meals were delicious. I would recommend!
Interesting cuisine- great presentation
Very allergy-friendly and accommodating! The only downside is that the fries aren't gluten-free. Drinks are amazing, of course!
Excellent as always. Very quiet being it was the night before Thanksgiving. Usually very crowded. Bartender was great. A little pricey , but we knew that going in.
Appetizers were great but the entrees were far less satisfying. Steak wasn’t great and potatoes were undercooked. Service was great though.
The food was good just a little expensive for what it was. The chicken portion was generous but it was served in a weird bowl that made it hard to eat! I would recommend removing some bones before or giving a sharper knife and putting it on a regular plate. The guy who got the steak was satisfied and the guy who got the pork said it was good but not spectacular. Overall solid spot if you are not on a budget.
Reliable. Still fashionable but not self-conscious. "Neighborhood gem" but cool. Great food. Try the lamburger.
