Food was very good and our waiter Charlie was friendly and informative. My one complaint is that for the price of the entrees all of your side dishes are ala carte
Petite filet was cooked perfect
This was to be one of our upscale meals. The waiter was less than attentive. Actually, he gave us the wrong bill when we were leaving. The bill was for the table next to us be he had added our beer to their bill so thought it was ours. The prime rib was greasy and salty. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. It was so loud in there that I could not hear what my husband across the table was saying.
Absolutely great? I ordered my steak well done the chef cooked it perfectly! Hard to find that! Wonderful service! The chef came to our table because we had a very nice manager who checked to make sure we were taken care of and I bragged on mt steak! Thank you all for making our dinner a wonderful experience!
Small portions for a big price. Better for a special occasion than everyday dining.
Celebrated our anniversary at Center Cut before the Donny & Marie show. The beef was perfectly prepared. My husband loved the French Onion soup and the wedge salad had a lot of Maytag bleu cheese. We shared a prime rib. It was so tender and flavorful. Our server and the manager were both so genuinely friendly. We will definitely return.
The quality beef takes center stage. The vegetable sides are generous, cooked right, and do not intrude. It easily sets you back over 100$ a person. Still went twice in one week because the filet mignon was calling.
Center Cut was very nice steak house with very good food. I would recommend this to anyone but, let it be known that if you are handicapped you will have to enter the restaurant through the Diamond club at the Flamingo because the front entrance has three or four steps.
This was our third visit to Center Cut Steak House. All food and service was excellent. WE would recommend this restaurant highly to anyone,
We come to Vegas yearly for Nascar an we always book a dinner here. great steak great service.
Excellent service!! Great vegetarian option.
Filet was wonderful. Best dining experience that we had was on our trip. Better than big name chef restaurants on the strip.
It was 1st anniversary for my wife & I. My wife’s first time in Vegas! I have been many times. Both 1st time at center cut. Waiter was very robotic & scripted! Not personal, not friendly. Food was ok/good. Prime rib was perfect. Bake potato was old or had sat in a hot well too long. Very burnt no flavor. A few gnats hovered our table & food which was very annoying. Especially for a fine dining restaurant! Over all ok experience for what I paid I could’ve shown my wife a better time else where!
Service was impeccable! Wait staff very well trained and attentive, but not overly attentive. Food was good. Salads were huge! Not fond of ambiance or the way the tables are set up. Had an enjoyable dinner.
We were staying at the Flamingo Hotel so decided to try the Steakhouse. We arrived and decided to go with lighter fare. Started with the crispy skinned pork belly, lobster bisque and rustic wedge salad. The “crispy “ skinned pork belly was anything but crispy. I’m not sure how long it had been sitting, but it was barely like warm. The lobster bisque was good, but it would have been nice to have a couple small pieces of lobster in it. The wedge salad was good. Since we had the 3 smaller items, we decided to share the Seafood Towers. The menu says 2-4 persons 58.00. We substituted the 4 oysters for 4 shrimp. So we had 7 shrimp total, half a lobster tail, and one small king crab leg. Not sure how that would feed 4 people.
The service was great, but unfortunately the value for the food was not up to Steakhouse standards.
Food is great. Service was great. However disappointed in the menu changes. It’s just like any other steakhouse now. It used to have a more varied menu. I miss the lamb chops and pork chops especially.
Food always good great atmosphere. Great service ask for FRANK. he'll take good care of you
Great atmosphere, good food and phenomenal service. It has a decent steak selection and the sides were acceptable.
Our server was Rasel & she was attentive, knowledgeable & personable. I had an end cut of prime rib, the olive oil & sea salt mashed potatoes & broccolini. My husband had the 18 oz. ribeye, same potato & asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection & delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Amazing food, great prices and attentive efficient friendly service.
Our waiter was horrible, he forgot items not only at our table but every table around us he ended up apologizing to - forgotten food, tickets market wrong and such.
Terrific choice for a nice meal in Vegas. Frank our server was terrific and I’ll come back again. Thank you!
We have been to Center Cut twice before and have enjoyed those meals. We had a friend in town. She visits for business once a year and we always try and go somewhere different and nice. So glad we made the decision to take her to Center Cut. We are never disappointed.
Great food, relaxing meal in the chaos of Las Vegas
This was our second visit to Center Cut. It was good but not great. They have changed their menu and removed some items that we enjoyed in the past. They removed a very nice pasta dish that I liked. The service was okay but nothing special. Not sure we will go back.
Got right in on time. The waiter was very knowledgeable and we never felt rushed. We both ordered different steaks and both were fixed to our likes. If back in Vegas may go again.
It was ok, lobster was a little over cooked. Steak was good but not great. Bread was great, mac and cheese was very good. Service was very good, we had fun. Prices were what I would of expected. I would eat there again.
Limited selection and very pricey.
Food is good, but not worth the price. It’s silly that entrees do not come with sides and they have to be purchased separately. We spent $100 for entrees only, no drinks, and no sides. It’s not worth it.
The server we had was not great. Question our neighbor guest 2 times (was inappropriate) for her mistake and the Followup on drinks took too long. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day.
I had the Porterhouse steak that was great, loaded baked potato was very good. My wife had the king crab legs that were very good but could of been served a little hotter, she had the regular baked potato that was very good. The bread they serve is also very good. Overall experience was very good just a little more heat on the king crab legs
Definitely not worth the money! We ate here on 2/10 our 5 year anniversary. I made a reservation for 9:15 on a Saturday night, I guess the word is out on this place as reservations weren’t necessary. Everything was oily you could have deep fried chicken in the pool of oil on the potatoes. I ordered the 10 oz filet medium very over cooked and tough. I couldn’t ask the waiter about it as he was preoccupied so anything we needed came courtesy of the bus boys including drink refills. I suggest the management head over to the Luxor and have dinner in there steakhouse.
My boyfriend and I were in Las Vegas and wanted a good steak dinner. We choose Center cut at the Flamingo, because I wanted to see the Flamingo's habitat. This was our special night out dinner and it was fabulous. We both got the Filet Mignon, me the smaller one and shared sides of the mac and cheese and broccolini. Everything was wonderful, the steak melted in your mouth. I would definitely come back again the next time I in Vegas.
Food was excellent also the cook came out to make sure everything was ok that went along way with my guest
Everything was perfect
Perhaps I thought this would be fine dining considering the price, however the service while good and adequate wasn't quite up to the level of the price point in my opinion. I'm a simple guy and don't really need much to satisfy me as far as a restaurant goes but I was expecting more and I got what I would generally get at, say, a Lone Star steakhouse perhaps.
Looks wise, the place looks the part with excellent table settings and low key, quiet environment. No complaints there.
Food wise I thought my particular offering was mediocre at best. I've had dry aged steaks before and was blown away at the preparation and taste that I got. Not so this time. My KC strip steak, while cooked to my preferred heat level, was not trimmed of silver skin and connective tissue (gristle) enough as well as taste wise, I suspect that my particular cut was not marbled well. The taste was a bit muted and subdued not at all helped by the lack of salt. I've had a hundred steaks from a hundred steak places and I've never had to shake salt out of a shaker onto the meat directly. I did here. My sides were the sauteed mushrooms and asparagus. Both of those lacked salt as well. I must also concede with the opinion of my companion that I prefer the smaller asparagus to the large ones that they serve. They were tender and well cooked however. My main gripe overall is lack of seasoning on my meal. Not mentioned because for all intents and purposes, this was solved by me shaking salt from a bottle onto the cooked food.
All in all, when I decide I'm going to spend 180 plus on a steak dinner, I will not do it here.
Food was outstanding. Service was a little slow. Never saw the somm after I asked him for help. No great loss. Overall a B+.
Soooo ... We chose this place based on reviews. Food was good, hostess was nice. The server ... was absolutely horrible. From start to finish ... Horrible. He actually mocked and made faces at my 84 year old father behind his back. I can't speak for the other servers ... But ours could not handle it.
Prime Rib was tough and could have gotten the same piece at Golden Corral. I advised server who said he would notify the chef, but nothing was done to correct situation.
I had hoped to take my family to a nice steak dinner in Vegas. I have been to many steakhouses all over the country. This one is the worst. The food was awful it took over one hour to get it but it was bad. I will say the manager took my meal off and offered us I drink. That was nice. I wasn’t looking for free food I would have paid anything for a great meal. This was unfortunately not it.
My friends and I went to Center Cut before the Donny & Marie Show. Eric was our waiter and he was wonderful! Very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. We let him know we were going to see the show after dinner which was a good thing too, since while we were there - Donny Osmond came in and sat at the table behind ours!! Eric was great and let him know about us, so Donny was gracious enough to come over and talk to us for a couple of minutes and let me get a picture of him and my friends. It made the night! Thanks again Eric!!!!
Great service. Good food. Decor and restaurant size are average.
