Wonderful place! Our waitress Wen was so friendly and energetic, my friend and I had a terrific time. I have already recommended the bar to others as a great place to meet after work with an amazing view.

Brief, pleasant spot to “whet the whistle” and have a small dish before a show or to plot strategy before moving on with dinner theatre. Catch your breath - and have a snort while looking at the slow moving red lights of traffic on Columbus Circle.

If it was 10% cheaper it would be more ideal. Overall reasonable but it's in the middle of the Columbus Circle mall @ $20 a drink.

This is one of my fav bars to come and unwind, not to mention the great view of Columbus Circle. Service by Chris is outstanding. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Always accommodates my table request even when I'm alone. Food menu is short but well put together and delicious. I favor the salmon, Shrimp and different open faced sandwiches. Drinks menu is extensive and well put together. Juan is one of the most gifted bartenders I have ever met. His drinks are strong but well balanced, flavorful and refreshing. You know they are excellent because even with the ice, they don't get watered down.

Perfect for a spot of lunch and lovely glass of wine and also for a light supper before or after attending a concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Service is also gracious + friendly.

Really attractive setting on the fourth floor of the Time Warner Center, with a lovely view out over Columbus Circle, Central Park and Midtown. The food was quite good, the grilled cheese and accompanying tomato soup were delicious and the drinks were excellent. There was live piano music by the bar that really set the ambiance. Great place to go for a light pre-show dinner.

Center Bar at Time Warber Center is a hidden gem in the heart of Columbus Circle. With an outstanding view of Central Park South and a stellar wine list, it's the perfect date night or pre show at Lincoln Center.

Hostess no eye contacts no smiles.
Waiter no smile the entire time maybe that's the theme there. Rushed my dessert order and didn't bother to write down my complete order.

Nice place to drop in to after the opera at the Met.

Came for the birthday celebration and was not disappointed. Ask the pianist to play something.

Try the grilled cheese sandwich. May sound "cheesy", but I guarantee you will walk away impressed.

Proof Positive: The only place I have found that serves 15 yr. El Dorado rum, outside of Guyana where it is distilled. 5 stars for that! I have been and partaken in Guyana rum and for this bar to serve it, takes it to a whole other level!

This is located in the mall at Columbus Circle on the 4th floor and it has a beautiful view, especially since it was the holidays and there were giant lit-up stars hanging. It is open air in the mall so there is competing noise from the other venues. However, we were seated next to the piano player who took requests. The menu is small with very interesting small plates that we found just right to share before a concert at Carnegie Hall. It is pretty, festive and romantic.

location, location, location,
went after a jazz show because of the convenience, time (it was late in the evening) and scenery. We waited for over 20 minutes to get a drink, the steak was not cooked as requested (it was too rare and not warm) and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. I asked for a small taste of the wine before committing--- when I told the waitress I did not like it, she failed to return until i complained to the manager. The waitress seemed disengaged with the diners. What could have been lovely was, instead, frustrating.

We had a 5:30 pre-show reservation. At 5:45 we were squeezed into a table for two after being told that the people sitting at our table had been there for two hours and were showing no signs of leaving. When we suggested that perhaps they found be offered a drink at the bar we were told that was not their "policy". When the couple st the table adjacent to us over-heard that remark they stated that they, in fact, had been asked to change tables (they had refused). Finally the four of us were moved to a table for three. Uncomfortable, noisy, and didn't honor reservation.

This is the perfect place to go before a jazz concert. We find the small plates fun and delicious, the service is just right and we like sitting in the outdoor atrium. We've had teenagers with us who are very happy with the burger and non alcoholic spritzers and the wine list has been pleasing to us. We'll go again and again.

The food was very good but expensive for small plates. The live piano was a plus. Small open space but works for one to four people.

We didn't eat just drank because we got there after they stopped serving food.
A little disappointed about the description Open Table gave regarding how you're supposed to be sitting next to the window and able to watch traffic and passerby ; this is inside an upscale shopping center on the fourth floor. However you can see out the floor to ceiling glass door to the mall but not the ambience I thought it was going to be.

We come here before or after taking in jazz at the various upstairs venues which serve wonderful music but only so-so food. A lovely place to sit and feel the New York-ness of TWC. Dependable comfort in a place where you can really talk yet feel a general buzz.

Generally I like this place very much. It has live piano and since it's an open space in a big mall it does't turn into the usual crowded NYC restaurants that people can't hear each other. This is the best thing about this bar in my opinion. The small plates are very good too but a little pricey.
The only thing which I didn't like about it in my last visit was the waiters' behavior. Too much interruption and so many times trying to remove our plates which we were still working on them and he could see that! My friend and I chose Center Bar to have a light dinner and drink and talk to each other after some time but the two waiters made it really uncomfortable for us to enjoy our time. It was like they want us to leave while we had meals, drinks and dessert there and many tables were still empty. Summery: good food and drinks, not noisy, great view and pushy waiters!

We were going to the opera upstairs in the building so this was a convenient spot for a light meal before. The menu for wine, beer and all things alcoholic was HUGE. Had a very interesting mixed drink and a glass of wine. The food was quite good, just wish there were a few more choices. Since the space is open to the other floors in the building, the noise level detracted from the view and overall ambience.
