The food severely lacked seasoning, steaks were far over temp and the restaurant was out of food listed on the menu. I ordered a medium rare bacon wrapped filet mignon, which came out as a medium well filet with bacon bits on top. The mac and cheese literally had no flavor. The soup came without the avocado listed, of which I was told the restaurant was out. My date also ordered a medium rare steak and received a steak with no pink interior. The best part of this meal was the bread. For what we received, this was barely worth the cost of our bottle of wine.
This was our 1st time to dine here. Everything was great only thing I had requested no Sour Cream on Potato Skins and there was plenty of it. /I'm allergic to it/ I didnt make a fuss about it, just hopefully they can it done right in the kitchen.
Was not very good and the service wasn't the best every
Was put at a small table where we were cramped. There were bigger booths open that my husband asked if we could move to and they said no because it was a busy night. They ended up putting one person at every single big booth that held at least 5 people. Took out server almost 10 minutes to greet our table. Food wasnt bad but my mac n cheese was cold. We were out for our anniversary dinner and had hoped to have a good experience because we dont get out much without our kida. We were disappointed with the over all experience for the price. Wont be returning.
Shrimp cocktail was well below par. Salmon was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The food and service were excellent! Except for a table full of rather proud, loud and rowdy Texans,we enjoyed our stay, but I suppose that's common in that area of the state. I would recommend this restaurant highly and I look forward to another visit!
This is where the morbidly obese dine. All you can eat! But all we could stand.
It was great.
I would never eat here again. Worst place ever. Close and rude.
The food was good quality and not overpriced. I will return again and am willing to try other items.
Our experience at your steakhouse was excellent! We were there to celebrate 38 years of marriage the waitress was a beautiful person!!
This is the place that my wife and I go for special romantic dates. Most romantic atmosphere in town, food is excellent, service is warm and friendly but never intrusive. They're consistently good on all those fronts, which is another appeal....we've been going for years and KNOW we'll have a good experience for our special occasions. The Centennial filet is incredible, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like most filets. Chicken fried steak, regular filet, bacon wrapped jalapeños, Caesar salad, ribeye, are among the other faves. One of the things I like most about Vday or birthday is getting to take her here.
Steak was undercooked and had to send back to the kitchen. Nice date place.
We went New Years 7pm for dinner,we loved the service and the look of the steak house, but the food just did not turn out very good.my wife of 46 years had a bake potato that was hard in the middle and could not eat, also my steak was so tuff that I could not even cut it with a knife and could not eat,I told the hostess when she came around and she said we will do better next time.I think to be fair we should be comped two meals to try this again. We go to Zia Park often and think the comp would be right. Thankyou Connie W
Our meal was slow getting to us.
The filet meion was over cooked.
Great place and food great atmosphere. Nice and pleasant to go and rewind.
Food was great!! Service was extremely slow but waitress was very nice. I would expect much better service for the price. Seemed like they were understaffed
Steaks were cooked perfect. Not a lot of good places in this town to get a good one so that was nice.
Need bigger portions on the sides. got asparagus and got 4 little pieces.
Need a bigger and better selection of desserts.
Salad was just ok and croutons were stale.
Serve a better bread with the meal. Maybe a sourdough or something better than a plain dinner roll.
bigger selection of appetizers would also be nice. Had the bacon wrap jalapenos. they were good. Maybe some sautéed mushrooms, bacon wrapped shrimp, etc..
Food is always fantastic. Service is consistently good and friendly, not exceptional (...but no fault of the staff, it just seems they are always understaffed) There is a small bar area that is nice if you are looking for a dinner where you can have conversation or date night. The dining area is a bit tight and you can hear everyone's conversation sitting next to you. Also, they could add more ambiance by lowering the lights in the dining room and placing candles on the tables. For a really good steakhouse, it has very little to no coziness or warmth. Overall, good food and service. Will definitely return again.
We were there for 2 hours. Took way too long to get our orders. Drinks took too long to get there, then forever for salad and long time for main course. Worst experience ever. We have eaten there many times on the past, with no issues. May be a while before we do that again.
I made a reservation for a Tuesday night. Nothing indicated that the restaurant would be closed. When my business associate and I showed up for dinner, we were told the restaurant was closed and had to find another place across town to eat.
Our dining experience was awesome from the beginning to end. Will definitely dine here again
The food and service was exceptional ! Also the 4 course meal was a great value ! We will definitely dine there again when in the area.
I visited zia parks centennial steak house on 6/2 and had the 4 course special, the croutons on my salad were mush no crunch at all and the chicken had skin and fat that I had to peel off and was like leather, I had to use a knife to cut through it. The following night I went back to the steakhouse thinking that maybe it was because I ordered the 4 course. The shrimp cocktail was delicious but the prime rib had more fat than meat. Both nights the place was almost empty and I can understand why, I was rushed both nights and so were the other couples that were there. I got no response when I complained, unless you call well at least its not pink to the chicken when the waitress tried to use a fork on it. I will pass next time and have something from the vending machine.
We started with the $17 oyster on half shell. For $17 you would assume a dozen right? Nope half dozen for $17. Had margarita, it was ok. Dont think there was any alchol in it but most resturants are that way. Had the queen cut prime rib for dinner. Taste= Good Size=Bigge rthan i expected Cook= Ordered medium got well-well done. Desert was pretty good. The best and only exceptional thing was the service. Both the waitress and the young man filling the water and cleaning tables where very profesional. Over all I would eat there again if im already at the casino but will probably eat somewhere else before i get there.
It used to take too long to eat and to get out, so that we could go back to the casino floor. Services gotten a little quicker, not much but better than before. I like to have a specific table reserved, and they're pretty good about that, and on scheduled time. Overall services and food is great, we will go back every time we visit the Zia Park casino..
The quality of the food was wonderful. We tried the 4 course special. Every entrée was delicious! I guess one thing I'd like to suggest is maybe varying the 2 choices for each part of the 4 courses.....maybe weekly!?? that would be an incentive to keep coming back to try different things. The 4 course special was not only delicious but very affordable. We would most definitely go back and have already recommended this restaurant to our friends.
From the time we walked in the door until we left everything was 1st class. Great service, excellent meal, and well priced. Spring roll appetizer was off the chart. The 4 course dinner for $30 can't be beat.
Our previous visits were great but this visit lasted over 2 hours. We didn't even get our salads for almost an hour. It wasn't really that busy and yet service was beyond slow and forgot several things. Definitely not good to be that price.
We are here for our anniversary I asked for a both when we made our reservation.. When we arrived they said they were running behind so sat us in like a conference room with two big tops and right next to the kitchen! Carried tables over our heads just awful!! What you do to make a buck!
I hadn't eaten there since the remodel. Everything was great! I will return and recommend it to people I know! I do miss the windows into the casino though.
More private tables/booths would be nice, but I was satisfied.
Love the food. Hate open Table. The Jalapeno soup is to die for.
This was my third time dining at the Centennial and I enjoyed it as much as I did the last two times. Food is great. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. My server was very attentive. Highly recommend it
A little expensive but food was great! ! Kim was very attentive and our drinks were never empty.
The food was wonderful and so was the service. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation but was seated right away. The only downfall we had was when we ordered a beer it wasn't accompanied with a cold glass. It was delicious though and will definitely go back!
My wife and I live about two hours away and we needed a weekend getaway. We decided on Zia park motel and Centennial restaurant for an intimate couples weekend. I turned out great. The motel was really nice, clean and quiet. The restaurant was wonderful. The steak and seafood were delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be back. Thanks Zia park for a great weekend.
It was a great experience. We really enjoyed the food and the romantic experience.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The menu was kinda pricy and the service wasn't all it should've been but the proportion and taste of the steaks were AMAZING. They're by far the best in town for the price you pay.
The dining at the Centennial Steakhouse is a very nice experience. They service is good, the napkins are cloth, and the food is excellent with enough quality selections to please all four of our two couple party. We all enjoyed this restaurant and the quick service.
food was great, service was wonderful, great dinner.
