Centanni - Burbank
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Los Angeles. It is just like being in Italy. Helen and Alex are wonderful hosts. It is such a lovely change to be in a family run Italian restaurant. The food is delicious. I would eat there every day if I could.
Food was too salty. Only ate spinach.
Consistent excellence in food and service! Very attentive friendly staff coupled with high quality foods prepared perfectly every time. Bring family and friends confident that everybody will be full and happy!!
Centanni was great for lunch when I went a while back, but dinner out with friends was underwhelming. The food was good but I expected better, and the service for a clear Tuesday night was very slow.
Small restaurant. Food and service were very good. Recommend.
Wanted to try someplace new. Everyone was very pleased with their meals and service. Would definitely go back.
The food is so good! Rich Italian fare with healthy portions. Our waiter was so warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back and try something else.
Was an exceptional dining experience for our family of four.
The food was amazing. It would be nice to get t a vegetable with a $17 slice of lasagna. Maybe some carpets would help with the noise. We could barely hear one another. Charge more and give a descent size wine. The wine was 5 swallows! Not good. I was shocked to see only lasagna on my plate. Waitress and hosostess were e very nice. Beautiful inside.
Food, service and ambiance is always great. This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant that is equally awesome for romantic dates or for meeting friends.
The food was excellent! We had a great time. The restaurant was very busy.
Birthday for mom. We all enjoyed. Will gladly go back
Great food and service.
Great place love coming here
This was our second visit to Centanni and they didn't disappoint. Food and service were both excellent.
Went on a date here and had a great experience! Was a little loud for a date, but totally expected for a $ of $$$ Italian restaurant. Super yummy food and fantastic service. Had a hard time understanding my waiter, but maybe that's authentic? Loved it. I'd go back.
The food as always was fantastic. It has become a regular place for business or special occasion meals even as it is also a great place for simply meeting a friend for lunch or dinner.
This is a little local Italian restaurant that looks and feels on the older side. The food is great and will definitely go back.
Love this restaurant! The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing! Love the artichoke appetizer (so beautifully plated), the bruschetta with prosciutto and burrata and the butternut squash ravioli. Portions are plentiful and so, so tasty!
The Bruschetta is the best and the Beet Salad is best I’ve ever had.
We've been to Centanni several times. Each time the service has been friendly and the food very good. On this occasion the owners came by our table and talked with us a while which made this an especially pleasant experience.
This is our first time to Centanni in Burbank, but for years they were our favorite restaurant when they were in Venice. Alex and Helen are great, the food is fabulous. Couldn't recommend it more highly. We had our old favorites, but they've added to the Venice menu, so we'll be back soon.
Very friendly and professional service. Food was delicious. Nice evening!
What a find! Big portions, great service and friendly staff!
Most delicious Bruschetta I have had in a long time.
Great food, friendly service, and very pleasant atmosphere. We went for a business lunch. The restaurant was fairly quiet and relaxing. Our server was outstanding. She was a great combination of friendliness and patience, letting us hang out and talk but still being attentive. Everyone at lunch commented on the quality of the food. Altogether a very positive experience, and we will be returning.
Nice Italian restaurant - good food and service. Really enjoyed our meal. Was a rainy night and it was a little cold inside but otherwise nice atmosphere.
This is a good place for a casual business meeting with folks in the industry. Met with an animator working at Nickelodeon which is just half a block away. Very friendly waitress.
Second meal here was better than first. Maybe because it was less crowded. Lobster ravioli and lasagna were very good.
Food here is always well prepared and tastes amazing. Service is great and everyone there makes you feel very welcome.
Great service. Good food. Generous pours.
Literally the best lasagna we have ever had in our lives. It was outstanding. The pumpkin ravioli has room for improvement- a bit too hard and not enough sauce... but anything falls short next to that lasagna!
Service was outstanding. Never had to ask for anything. Server always there to help but not so much that they were intrusive. Perfect. Price is great. Just a matter of personal preference. Don't care for al dente ravioli or pasta and that is what we got. Too hard for us to enjoy so only ate a little. Lobster bisque not good. Couldn't eat and I usually love lobster bisque. Had Creme Brûlée for dessert. Not used to it being served cold. Menu said it had chocolate on the bottom. Had not had that before but really liked it. Unfortunately, I had just gotten into it and found that it was only on half. Also like that torched crispiness usually on top of creme brûlée and like "cracking" into it. This was soft on top. Flavor though was great. Tomatoes and burrata were delicious. Salad was excellent and easily enough to share among two. Tables were so close to each other that you couldn't help but talk to people on either side. And since we wanted a dinner for two, we weren't pleased with that. So overall good, certainly not bad, but not for us.
We love this place
Such a lovely Christmas Eve dinner. We started with Centanni's fabulous Calamari, which really is ethereal - better than a top rated Japanese Tempura Master could make. (The lobster bisque soup is also a favorite, but we decided to pass on this visit so there would be room for dessert). Two of the special entrees that evening could not be ignored; the lobster raviollos (large handmade delicate pasta) in a lobster reduction sauce, and the assorted seafood stew (apologies but I cannot remember the Italian name, but it is similar to San Francisco Cioppino), which I had served over handmade tagliatelle pasta. A side dish of sautéed broccoli (generous enough to share) rounded out the dinner. And then came the Tiramisu, which was truly excellent. Service was attentive, but never intrusive. A wonderful respite from the hectic pace leading up to the Holidays - so glad that the lovely owners made the move from the Westside to Burbank!
We'd never been. Three of us had Sole, Salmon and it was just sensational. Our server was so kind and rolled with our many picky requests without a complaint. They even had Vermintino, one of my favorite wines! Thanks to YELP -- we discovered Centanni and will go there often from now on!
We love Centanni! :)
I love this restaurant - have been there many times for eat in and take out. Always courteous and fun. Food is great -
Food was ZoK but very noisy because there was a retirement party. We could not ever hear each other over the noise. This kind of ruined the evening
