Highly recommend the Galway Bay mussels and the cod cakes. We ate there on Valentine's Day, and they gave us a special dessert treat of Irish truffles that were delicious. I love the cozy Irish pub atmosphere inside. Servers are always very friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day with dinner and a show! Dinner at Celtic Crossing, both of us being lovers of Irish food and culture, was a wonderful option.
The food was delicious, our server was very helpful, and the ambiance was lovely.
We went for the ciderfest and it did not disappoint. It is a great place to catch a soccer game or any game really. Staff was pleasant and friendly, service was great even though they were extremely busy (special event). Servings are large and sharable. Food was great!
Sunday brunch was so disappointing. We love Celtic Crossing, but this time, even with a reservation, it was an hour and a half before our food arrived. It was a good 30 minutes after we sat down that we even got some water! Hopefully this is not the norm for Sunday brunch now. We'll give it another try sometime - but not real soon.
Went for the FIFA Women’s soccer game. Chris, general manager, was amazing in our discussion the week before to make sure we had a seat. Eric (bartender) was wonderful as well all morning. First timer there and will DEFINITELY be back!
Food is outstanding Irish cuisine. Servers are excellent at explaining some of the unique Irish dishes
Great Food and Great atmosphere! Went for Father’s Day and for the FIFA Women’s World Cup USA versus Chile.
Great place to get drinks with friends. I had a really great time. Service was great, food was yummy, and drinks were large.
Super accommodating and excellent service.
Love the food but service is a little slow. Atmosphere would be better if they would not allow smoking on the patio. I would love to sit outside on a pretty day but can’t tolerate cigarette smoke ruining the fresh air!
I love Celtic. I'm not exactly a "regular" yet I'm there multiple times a month. Which is why when family from out of state from the east coast was in town I chose to take them to Celtic for dinner to relax and talk. The talk part was extremely EXTREMELY difficult. It was Wednesday, trivia night, and all was good except whomever was announcing was way, way, WAY TOO LOUD. I wish I could have turned down, turned off the loudspeaker. Honestly it was embarrassing
As always, Celtic Crossing was amazing, service was excellent and the food, GREAT. Cozy yet accommodating to our group of 6.
Very much a neighborhood pub atmosphere, very lively. Manager seated us and was very accommodating and personable. Service after that was adequate if a little inattentive but the place was packed on a friday night. Food was expected pub fare but was outstanding. Fish and chips was wonderful. Had the obligatory Guinness which was well poured, perfect temp and fresh. Bread pudding for dessert was equally good. Will definitely be back.
Great good. Fish and chips are always great
Sherri Mae was our server and she was kind and very knowledgeable of the food and drinks. Great time.
Delicious brunch, and delightful hot drinks
Our group was looking for something out of the ordinary and Celtic Crossing fit the menu. The menu was not overwhelming with just enough choices and prices that didn't break the bank. The portion sizes was just enough that you could share with each other.
Food was excellent. Service was great.
Love, Love, Love this place!
Have had lunch, dinner and late night. Gonna try for brunch soon!
Loved the dirty chips!
My sister and I both had their fish special. I had onion rings with mine and she had the chips. The fish was great, chips were ok but my onion rings was better. Nice quiet Irish pub but looks like it could be an loud rocking pub at a different time of the day. If I am ever back in that area again, I will stop in again for their fish & onion rings.
Fish and chips never disappoint!
Go on Tuesday to get 2 for 1.
Always great! Today did not disappoint.
My family enjoyed it too
Great food we love the beer batter chicken and chips. Hubby loves the Irish beer. Great service we eat here a lot and always enjoy it. We took my78 year old mom and she had a lot of fun too.
Stopped off for dinner on our way home to Missouri. Great food. Great entertainment. Great staff.
This was a disaster of a Father's Day brunch. Even though we had a reservation, we were placed at a bar table outside the perimeter of the patio . . . which placed us directly in the sun. Had to wait almost 20 minutes to get drink orders. It took another 15 to get a menu. A waiter finally came by and apologized because he didn't know we were in his section. We asked to pay for our drinks because we were over an hour in at this point and had no confidence that we would be served any time soon. They persuaded us to say with the offer of a comped appetizer. We accepted and put in an order for 4 scotch eggs . . . the appetizer plate of pimento cheese arrived in short order but after another half hour or so our ordered food had not arrived. My husband went inside to try and find someone to let us pay our tab . . . more waiting. I went to the hostess stand . . . more waiting. I was hot, hungry and fed up at this point. The manager finally came by and comped our bar tab (a whopping $10 since we only got 2 drinks and a soda) and were left. It was 2:00 by this point and we had missed all other brunch opportunities.
Thinking back, I should have realized it was an issue when they were more concerned about throngs of world cup viewers than families that made reservations for brunch. I'll come back for happy hour, but not for a special occasion.
Didn't like the fact that the general manager walked past us numerous times and then proceeded to throw his staff under the bus when we got fussy and decided to leave.
We made reservations for 11:30 for Father's day. First of all, we could not get anyone on the phone and had to make a reservation online. So we did not know that we had to request to be seated indoors. The heat index that day was in the 100s so I did not want to sit outside on the patio in the sun where they had reserved us a table. Now in their defense, it was also the morning of a World Cup came and the place was packed with sports fans. I did talk to the manager, Chris, who told us if we waited until the game ended (15 minutes or so) people would be leaving and he could seat us inside. He also found us a place to wait inside (leaning up a wall but it was out of the heat). Now for the people there for the game, it looked like an awesome place to come hang out and watch a game. I have never watched soccer but I got caught up in the excitement. Sure enough as the game ended we were seated quickly. Another we didn't know is they were not offering their whole menu. We had 5 options (their World cup menu). While we were eating, the full menu was given out. I was really disappointed in the limited options because we made a special trip (about an hour drive) to experience Irish fare. My husband did like his eggs benedict. I decided to try the crepes which were described as crepes with a chopped beef and mushroom ragu with gravy. What I got were thick, unseasoned crepes with delish gravy and about 5 tiny pieces of meat and no mushrooms. It was basically crepes and gravy which was not good. Their potato "pancakes" were delish. I did not tell our waiter about not liking the food because I felt I had complained so much already.
Overall, it was not a good experience, but I understand why it was kind of a perfect storm. And I do feel that our server and the manager were very attentive and very nice. I don't mind when things go wrong as long as they try to make it right. I would recommend it. And I do plan to go back, but on a less busy day.
They allow dogs on the patio.
We've enjoyed ourselves there for drinks so decided to try it for brunch. The menu was well varied and the service was prompt and friendly. Servings are generous and the eggs..well, in a restaurant, it isn't easy to get eggs done in such a way that they are PERFECT by the time they reach the table. But they did it!
Great birthday lunch on the patio!
Mother’s Day! Great music
Great Food and Atmosphere!!! Love the liveusic on Sundays!!!
Expect to wait in a line to order food, but the line moved fairly quickly. Our food was delivered in about 5 min after we placed our order. It was quite tasty & enjoyed by everyone. The only negatives, and based solely on taste preferences, the BBQ beans are a bit spicy and the homemade chips weren't all that flavorful. But the rest of our food was great!
Met the owner DJ, he was very nice and attentive. Huge soccer establishment. Food was great.
Fish & Chips were very good and service was excellent. We happened to be there during happy hour and received a discount on drinks.
Fish and Chips were very good. 👍 Try the Smithwick 🍺
Good service, attentive waitress. Noisy, fun atmoshere. Casual attire. Wear your blue jeans and go have a good time. Street parking available .
Always great atmosphere, food, drink, and service!
My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch at Celtic Crossing on Monday. We were the only ones dining in the restaurant at that time but felt very comfortable. We had excellent fried mushrooms and sampled the homemade pimento spread, which was also delicious. The Ruben, fries and potato and leak soup were perfect. My husband enjoyed the Shepherds Pie. We had very attentive service, as well. Thanks you for the fun lunch.
We love going there. The food and service keep us coming back!
My husband had the burger with steak fries and I the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious! I love the options of two toppings and one cheese. I chose the pimento and roasted peppers. Again, delicious! Will definitely be back!
