Great meal as always!
Great food and wine. Never disappoints.
Great meal and wonderful service!
It was good for reunion people
Terrific food - best Veal Milanese in NYC and the veal with artichokes was also terrific.
Staff lovely - small issue with the bill coming to me before we'd finished our meal but was beautifully handled by the staff.
Veal chop was tough . Appetizers were good . Disappointed as they were out of a requested entree. Good desserts .
Very nice place to go on a date. Ambiance a tad dated.. super classy though. Food was good, not outstanding but a great place to enjoy Italian cuisine. Dessert was probably the best part of the meal. Overall, service was excellent and would return
An old style Italian restaurant with absolutely delicious home-made pasta. Service was attentive and prices were modest for midtown NYC. I loved it. My new favorite restaurant.
Very nice neighborhood place. Pasta was delicious. Excellent service.
Had a great meal before the theater! Made a reservation without a problem, the wait staff was courteous and attentive and the food was terrific. Service was quick, but not rushed and we had plenty of time to return to the theater. Would definitely return!
The wine selection and the taste of their food succeeded expectations. Our experience was unparalleled! Amazing place!
Excellent food, fast and professional service, and friendly NYC atmosphere. One of our favorites.
Food was average and waiter forgot to bring our appetizer. I wouldn't dine again at Cellini.
neighborhood staple.. always very reliable and very consistent
Food not as good as before.
Everything was excellent from the service to the food! The service staff was very attentive and the food arrived quickly and was some of the best Italian we have ever had. All the way around this was a great choice.
Best Italian in New York
Top-notch Italian cooking and an amazing focaccia to start!
Have eaten here many times and the food is always delicious! This meal was no exception- great spaghetti carbonara, great gnocchi, great salads and a wonderful special white bean soup with escarole and sausage. The detractors on this particular evening were that the restaurant was very crowded so service was spotty and we ended up at a table in the middle of the upstairs dining room so spent the meal being jostled by other diners and wait staff pushing past our table, bumping our handbags, etc. But the food was so good, everyone was very happy with their meal.
Cellini was recommended to me by a co-worker. I had lunch there the other day and it was a very pleasant experience. We had a reservation for 1pm, arrived on time and was seated immediately. Food was very good and tasteful and arrived 10 minutes after placing an order.
I was surprised how packed the place was. It was on a louder side but comfortable enough to carry a conversation.
Overall great experience. I would definitely go back.
Perfection! The food is incredible. Will definitely be back there again.
Best veal parm
Good food. Variety. Inexpensive wines. Good service
Great service, your water glass is always full and staff is attentive. Food is cheesy
Best gnocchi in town.
We were in NYC to see a play, and we always try to dine at Cellini. We were planning on trying another restaurant, but we decided on the sure bet, and went back to Cellini. We were not disappointed, and the restaurant was almost full on a Tuesday night, but we were able to get a table. Burrata caprese, lobster ravioli off the menu, and mushroom veal chop off the specials, paired with a couple of glasses of wine made for yet another wonderful meal. We will be back!
Reliable and delicious midtown Italian. Love this place. I eat here at least once a week! Service can be slow but it’s very friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Love it!
Always receive great service and fantastic food!
Outstanding food and service! Highly recommended!
Neighborhood gem in midtown East. Even though a lot of guests looked local, they treated us tourists with just the same hospitality. Lasagna was even better than the one I had in Italy. Definitely recommend and come back!
We’ve been regular diners at Cellini for many years now and missed it while it was closed for renovation. Now that it’s reopened, the food is as delicious and well-prepared, the ambience as comfortable, and the staff as friendly and attentive as ever. We were also delighted to see that all of our favorite dishes have remained on the menu, and we hope that they always will. It all adds up to Cellini being one of our favorite and most frequently-patronized restaurants.
The risotto primavera, risotto Tre fungi , the salmon primavera and lasagna were all well prepared and flavorful. The service was attentive, but not rushed. My only complaints are that there are no family style antipasti and that price of bottle of wine was double the price of the entree.
Food was delicious, service was impeccable and the expense was very reasonable! Highly recommend!
Great food, classic NYC Italian spot
Our second visit and we were pleased again. Nice neighborhood place with a cozy feel. Food and service are very good. Nice wine list.
Usually great, service is slipping. Hard to get waiter attention for basics: water, bread, the check.
Food was amazing as always. We had the pear salad, lobster ravioli and a special chicken ravioli, plus the cheesecake. The service was not as good as normally, not very friendly and had to wait a long time for ac check but in all fairness it is Christmas time and they were VERY busy. We will definitely be back!
One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. What a hidden gem! And looks like it’s mainly locals that go there, so it’s not a tourist place. Angelo, the waiter was so wonderful! Very professional and quick. We had bolognese rigatoni and seafood risotto. Both were cooked to perfection! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Come here every time we are in NY
Service is very spotty. Food is just reheated pasta or chicken with sauce thrown on top. Would not recommend.
