Great place, excellent food, make sure you make reservations because they're only open certain nights. They have dogs and cats (one cat was VERY friendly in particular), so if you're allergic you may want to take a Claritin-D before going. Very friendly staff, with a small community feel. I'll definitely make future reservations. 😊

My husband keeps raving about the fresh shrimp cocktail. The meat on my enormous lamb shank was so tender that it fell off the bone. I had no difficulty in devouring all of it! My son was so happy that he had some left over shrimp linguini to take home. The vanilla sundae was perfect for two to share. We ordered the fruit compote to go over it. YUMMY!

We dined here for Thanksgiving dinner. There aren't a lot of places open in Yosemite and this seemed like one of the better options. The woman helping me book the reservation was very accommodating. They have weird policies about cancellations, however, and will charge you for a cancellation. I had some issues with the website rescheduling the time when we wanted to eat because of these policies. The food was tasty; however, the service was SLOW. Our table was nowhere near ready when we requested the reservation and we were waiting around for almost 45 minutes! They do not have the best area for waiting and we were kind of hanging out in the gift shop area. When they finally seated us, time to get our food was also extremely slow and they started running out of food on the menu (only one or two options were available out of 3 by the time we got past the salad course). People with reservations even later than us might have only had one option. Considering dietary restrictions and allergies along with meal preferences and wanting to have options when you're shelling out for an expensive meal you'd think they would have enough ingredients to be able to provide you the options listed on the menu! The food we did get was tasty, but long wait times and running out of food made this experience not as good as it could have been.

This was a wonderful place to dine years ago. Of four dinners, two were OK,but two were inedible. They allowed cats to wander through the dining room during dinner. One of our guests was allergic to cats and had a problem.

The food was good but not what was on the online menu. They were out of some things that were vegetarian and that did not make us happy since the one thing we did when making the reservation was state that we had 2 vegetarians and 2 non vegi eaters. Quite and a lovely atmosphere.

We celebrated my celiac Mom's birthday on the patio (with my dog!) The setting was gently lit and very relaxing. The service was sadly slow (thought nice and friendly) and the food was only good (not great). The wine list was extensive and seemed to cover all needs/wants. The restaurant is part of the hotel and both are pet friendly. We are already thinking of staying there this winter. We will be back.

Once seated was given water and bread. Server took order for drinks and dinner. Waited 45 min.s before getting drinks. Meal came shortly after. Dinner included free bottle of house wine for placing reservation online. Out of house wine but was upgraded to a delicious wine selection. Food was very tasty. Restaurant was understaffed, busy and stretched to the max. Felt bad for the staff. Would return again because food was very good. Just don't be in a hurry...This seems to be a norm.

Restaurant has a very nice wine list at awesome prices. Food was good with reasonably sized plates. We will stop there at our next trip to Yosemite
