Chef owner Ivan Tarazona is avid for modern French cuisine, with a selection of menus for any occasion from 5 or 9 course tasting menu with wine pairing or customized Prix Fixe menus.
Celestin accommodates small and large group events such as wedding receptions, business meetings, presentations, birthdays and much more. An intimate private room enclosed with French glass doors seating 12 guests creates a cozy ambience, our semi-private dining room is ideal for groups of 15 to 30 guests or the entire restaurant can be yours without additional costs.

Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were seated in the front room with two other tables. Our only quibble was the noise level. No one was speaking loudly but the acoustics are such that we had a difficult time hearing each other across the table. We have sat in the larger room on other occasions and think the acoustics are better there. The food was great as always. The stuffed hen was tender and delicious. The strip loins were very good but did have a fair amount of fat attached. And the pasta is always tender and flavourful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable evening.

the service was beyond slow. Even getting things like bread and water were slow. Our steaks took over an hour - and they came out undercooked. Then to add insult to the whole evening, the waiter argued with us about the steaks being undercooked!

In a city that boasts many mediocre French restaurants, Le Célestin stands out. The steak tartare was very, very good (and I am often disappointed by many tartares in this city) and the bouillabaisse was delicious.

Went to Celestin for Valentine's Day. Service was slow in a restaurant that was not full. Pate appetizer was quite good. Cornish Hen fricassee was cooked perfectly but had no flavour.

Not surprisingly, Celestin was completely booked for Valentine's Day. Good thing I made a reservation. Celestin is perfect for a romantic date. My beef tenderloin was grilled to perfection and the sweetbreads were cooked properly. The mini garlic ravioli was very unique since I haven't had a ravioli with this type of filling before. The sauce bordelaise brought it altogether. My girlfriend's braised leg of lamb fell right off the bone and the squid ink orzo went very well with the whole dish. Of course there were some service delays in between the courses since they were completely full. I will definitely come back here on another special occasion!

Interesting and recognizable food. Maybe St Valentine's Day not the best occasion to visit. Definite lack of flexibility in the menu. Wine choices limited and overpriced

Wow we had the best meal I have had in a while Service was professional and friendly staff were familiar with the flavours in the food, how they were prepared and very happy to share these. The salmon tartare was ex cuisine, the boeuf bourguinon the best I have ever had and cooked in large pieces of veal cheek, the lime tart was creamy and just a bit sharp, a fitting end to a meal. Through out presentation was spectacular. Coffee to finish, good and rich I will be back!

I made reservations for 10pm and they asked me and my date to come a little earlier. The place was empty, the service was unbelievable and the food was even better. Totally righteous experience :)
