Chef owner Ivan Tarazona is avid for modern French cuisine, with a selection of menus for any occasion from 5 or 9 course tasting menu with wine pairing or customized Prix Fixe menus.
Celestin accommodates small and large group events such as wedding receptions, business meetings, presentations, birthdays and much more. An intimate private room enclosed with French glass doors seating 12 guests creates a cozy ambience, our semi-private dining room is ideal for groups of 15 to 30 guests or the entire restaurant can be yours without additional costs.

Well you can certainly tell that Pascal Ribreau is long gone from Celestin. I went there a few days ago with my wife on a Thursday night. It was pretty quite with only two or three other tables occupied. The food was all good. My wife and I shared a Scallop Tartare, and for mains I had Mushroom Papardelle, and she had Roast Monkfish with Paella style barley. Everything was good but it was not what I'd expect from a place like Celestin. Nothing really popped. Where it really fell apart for me was the service side. The waitress, hostess, and bus staff all lacked the knowledge and confidence to deliver a good experience. None of them were rude or inconsiderate but again in a place like Celestin I expect much more polish on the service side.

The wonderful lunch special is not available on weekends. Too bad. So we had to settle for the brunch menu and chose the frisée salad - excellent, followed by the daily choice of quiche, which was quite ordinary. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

We've been to Celestin before, albeit several years ago. We were very disappointed. The food was okay, but fell far short considering the prices. It was an uninspiring menu with very few choices. The service was dismal. Our waitress admitted it was her second day, but that does not excuse the poor service. It was not busy at all and the pacing of the food was awful. We waited a long time for bread to arrive, then appetizers came immediately after that and entrees arrived almost as soon as the appetizers were cleared. Coffee came well ahead of dessert, and then we had to ask for and then wait for, the bill. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. Menu has a great selection, food is excellent and service very attentive and helpful.Highly recommended.

My husband and I went for a lovely summer luncheon at Celestine..as they only serve their superb crème brûlée at lunch. We ordered the Prix Fixe menu and loved all of our choices. We look forward to returning.

Not the food we remember under Pascal Ribreau, alas. And so, we will not return. Very few patrons on that long weekend Saturday evening and we chose a table as far from the central area as we could so we had an opportunity to catch up with the friends we had invited to join us. That part: ambience, service, were fine. Just not the food, which was not bad, and the menu read well; just not worth returning for.

Each dish was a gem. I had the pea flan flank steak and lemon cream puff. My friend had the grilled calamari fish and Sam dessert. We could have sat there and ate a whole second meal if she didn't have to go back to work :). For 20 bucks pp we will definitely go back. They accommodated my stroller no problem.
