We enjoyed a very nice meal with a pleasant server and quick service. We were told that the Biltmore restaurants serve food that is grown or raised on the estate. Biltmore wines are probably among the better wines in the East and maybe in the country.

Everything was perfect, from the “Happy Birthday” from the hostess when I came in the door to the “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate on my dessert plate! One member of our party was late, but our server went with the flow, made sure we had what we needed in the way of beverages, and didn’t rush us as we waited for our other guest. The food was wonderful and the service was great. I will be returning to Cedric’s Tavern and would not hesitate for a second to recommend it to my friends.

Perfect casual dinner for family after long day of travel and sightseeing. A little loud, so maybe not the best for romantic dinners, but definitely great place for celebrating and enjoying a good meal.

The food was okay. We did have a great waiter. I just think the selections were somewhat limited.

A nice, convenient place to sit and relax in the midst of touring the Biltmore estate. Food was good, service outstanding and friendly.

Visited Biltmore with my mom and 11 year old daughter and wanted a restaurant that would satisfy all 3 of us. Cedric's was ideal - the food was wonderful, atmosphere not too fancy and we loved visiting the Antler Hill Village in which the Tavern is located. Highly recommend.

Every time we to visit the Biltmore Estates we try to eat at Cedric's, the menu changes with the season. It is recommended to have a reservation. we have always found the choices to be broad enough to meet any ones taste. I had the Shepperd's pie and have found the fish and chips to be very good.

We are passholders and love Biltmore! We are local and come often.
But we would not recommend Cedrics for dinner.
Too expensive! Food was just okay.
Service was good.

Special visit to introduce family from out of town to the estate. Cedric’s is always very good. We were surprised that the food delivery wait staff did not identify the charcuterie meats and cheese plates cheeses but when asked our waitress was able to identify everything. Beside that small blip all was great.

Cedrick's Tavern at the Biltmore Estate is located in Antler Hill Village, near the winery, ice cream shop with lovely garden and tree foliage and a large open space for picnics. The food is excellent, with a range of menu items for all. Cedrick's is not large, and has dark tavern wood and smaller separated dining areas for a cozy feel in all seasons. The windows allow lovely garden flower views. Great service! Great food!

If you’re staying on the estate, try to plan your meal around eating at The Stables Cafe at the Biltmore house...better value much better food. Cedric’s is okay. I had the chicken which was mediocre. My husband had the bison burger and thought it was pretty good.

We enjoyed terrific service and an excellent dinner after a long day touring the house and gardens. Only wish shops in village stayed open longer. Otherwise, a perfect visit and evening at Cedric's!

We ate at Cedric's Tavern last night and it was awesome! We started off with the Pimento Cheese dip. It was served warm with crispy bread chips and was delicious. We also each got a warm roll with some type of compound butter which was delicious as well, but the most phenomenal part of our meal was our NY Strips. The meat was cooked perfectly I had rare and my friend had Medium rare. You could cut it with your regular knife with no issues. (They did bring steak knives) the meat was so flavorful and tender. The steak was served with fingerling potatoes, snap peas and lobster pieces. I would definitely get this again! Our waiter Tyler was great as well.

Food, wait staff were awesome. We were seated right away, even though we were a little late for our reservation. I felt it was a little loud for ordinary conversation, but it was Cinco de Derby day 😊

We had early dinner reservations after our tours of Biltmore House. We had stopped by Winery first and Cedric's allowed us to enjoy our selections for a corkage fee. My friend and son ordered the Steak/Mac-n- cheese, he said it was the best steak he ever had! I ordered Fish and Chips, large serving and I shared with my Mother...We had arrived early and they seated us with no complaints. Server was good, checked in frequently. The only thing I will say is the prices were high for us but we were on vacation so we didn't mind the splurge! I would go back again next time we visit Biltmore-Ashville area.

The waitress was very good but the value 25 dollars for a piece of haddock .. hmmm could have been like 18 max..chips cold . Wife had bison burger good but prices 22 for a burger ..,not whining but overpriced for guests staying at hotel .. even George Vanderbilt would have thought overpriced .

Could not give be 5 stars across-the-board due to lack of service after seated. I waited more than 15 minutes and had to flag somebody down to ask for water and to take my drink order. Once I brought it to their attention, they did make it right. The food was excellent as always; this is the first time I’ve eaten at the restaurant for dinner. They have lots of choices for someone with food allergies – gluten-free, dairy free – was accommodated easily. There was live music tonight and he was great! I love the atmosphere and I had a fantastic view of the meadow and mountains in the distance. I would definitely eat there again but they need to make sure they recognize their customers within a few moments of seating them.

My husband and I were there visiting the Biltmore for our 10th Anniversary. I guess I notated that when we made the reservation (I honestly can't remember), I know we didn't mention it while eating there. The waitress surprised us with complimentary chocolates as a sweet treat after dinner. It was so sweet and very much appreciated! The food was great, too!

Have to admit that this was our worse experience at Cedrics. Service and
food were mediore. We come to Asheville 4-5 times a year and try to eat there
each visit and must say we were disappointed this time. But we love Asheville
and the Biltmore so we will be back.

Hard to find food w/o salt or little salt. I have a medical issue that requires1 teaspoon a day of salt maximum. Menus/chefs need to be helpful wherever possible.

Love coming here although it is always a bit loud. Our server was excellent but the hostess was a bit snippy. We arrived early and went to bar and she said that our table was ready when we were. We had just received drinks when she came to us and said that she was waiting. BTW, the restaurant was not full.

My husband and I enjoyed our experience there very much. We had an excellent waiter, and had a perfect seat by a window. I'm sure the light crowd at the Biltmore on that cold Monday made the restaurant quieter than normal!
Excellent cocktails, but I don't recommend the fish and chips. I couldn't eat all of mine--it was overcooked. My husband's reuben sandwich was good. I am sure if I'd complained about my fish, they would have tried to make it right for me, however.

I love Cedrick’s but last night they just weren’t on their game. The food was great, as always but our server was distracted and subsequently our drinks and food arrived late. We felt rushed after food arrived and decided to forego desserts and coffee. Hoping for a better visit next time.
