Fabulous food - we had the salmon (huge portion) and the blackened shrimp special. Martini was perfect, Biltmore Sangiovese was delicious. We dined on the patio. Some dogs and children welcome. The dogs were well-behaved. Live jazz playing outside added to the ambiance. Perfect evening.
My husband and I ate dinner at Cedric’s Tavern before going to see the Chihuly exhibit. It was so noisy that we could not talk among ourselves at all. I know the restaurant can not control who joins them, but they could install some ways to absorb some of the noise. The table close to us had a really GOOD time. My salmon dinner was delicious, but my husband’s steak was tough. Both of these complaints are subjective. Our waiter was excellent.
Always enjoy Cedric's. Live music was good but too loud, much too loud!
$44 steak not comparable to other local restaurants in size or quality. Salmon very salty so daughter ate another’s chicken dish. Bison burger dry and hard and roasted potatoes with all dishes not done. Appetizers good and service at tentative. Food poor to fair. Very disappointed
This odd menu left me wondering if Cedric’s knew who they were exactly, Irish Pub, seafood joint, or tapas plates. Don’t bother with the soup unless you like campfire style everything leftover in there type of cocotion with little room for broth in the coffee mug it was served in. Our server rarely made eye contact with any of us, even talking but not looking at any one and was much more interested in whAt was going on around him and on the patio. More security guard than server. Try harder Cedrics
The food is fantastic! It is our favorite place to eat when we come to the Biltmore
Shona, our server was terrific - the food not so much. The pub item presented as a Ploughman’s Board was totally NOT a ploughman’s board as it contained almost no cheese (2 slices @ about 1/4 ounce each) and was mostly inedible from ‘ham’ which was 90% fat to weirdly seasoned dry sausage, and a very dry scotch egg. To add insult to injury this board cost $26! To be fair, the Pork Chop was juicy and quite nice, but the overall meal was not good value. We would not return.
Awesome experience! Waiter was very creative when I forgot the candles for my daughter's 19th birthday cake.
Very good food and service- great escape from the heat. Burger is expensive ($22) but excellent.
This was probably our 5th plus time dining at Cedrics and the overall experience while not bad did not come to par with typical Biltmore dinning. Food was good but not great. There was a large family behind us with a "kids" table that really hurt the quiet ambiance we've come to associate with the restaurant. It just seemed like everyone from waiter to other tables were loud. Waiter seemed rushed, the food was ok but not great.
My only complaint is the hostesses were very rude. We asked for patio seating, first come first serve. I understand. So when we were ready to sit we ask, 45 min wait and we were not on the wait list. We were never told of the wait list. We wanted to sit near the music. They sat us in the back corner. complaint were do not order because we will need to move you. seating was a little better. I am a seam pass holder and I did not appreciate how we were treated. Our waiter was wonderful and he made things better given the situation.
We had dinner at Cedric's on July 4th. This was our second time dining at this restaurant. We enjoy the atmosphere and the service and people are welcoming and attentive. The food was good and they don't mind when a couple splits an entree which my husband and I do frequently since we're not big eaters. When visiting Biltmore, we will always make Cedric's one of our places to dine. If you want good food with a relaxing and casual time, then this is your place.
Our waiter was quite knowledgeable and friendly and did a great job. The servings were a nice size, and very good. Nice place to dine!
The Salmon with Morels and Carrot purée was outstanding! The deviled eggs and oysters were superb!
Great food and service
We hit Cedric's every time we are near the Biltmore property. Food is consistently fresh and tasty. We tend to sit at the bar due to casual nature and impromptu availability--would highly recommend if you forget to reserve a table. They often have a solo artist playing guitar/singing in bar area which creates a nice background vibe to the dining experience. Definitely worth stopping in.
Food was delicious and our server, Megg was fantastic!
Always consistent 😃
Everything was delicious. Service was top-notch. Well done!
Russell was great! Did Chihuly after. Great night!!
Great upscale pub food and great dinner entrees too. A must if you are visiting Biltmore. Live music too.
We ate here on vacation in Asheville at the recommendation of a friend. We did not stay on the estate and came here for dinner after exploring the grounds. The food was good and the live music was great. The only complaint was feeling rushed to move through courses quickly despite having empty tables around us. It seems like it is a popular spot for good reason (the salmon is incredible) and they are use to flipping tables very quickly in order to get the crowd through. Otherwise, the atmosphere is nice and a great place for large groups and families with kids.
Okay food with herbs that were clearly fresh, but menu was geared toward bar and grill type selections. If you have restrictions then I say choices can/ will be limited.
Don’t know when I’ve had better food. The pork chop was to die for along with the very creative sides. The service was wonderful. And of course the Biltmore wines.
Great lunch menu. Good sandwiches, salads and burgers. Very good fries.
Good beer and wine selections.
Enjoyed it so much, went back the next day.
Very nice place, out waiter was great and the food was awesome... oh and those pickles wow amazing. Will be back soon😋
While food and atmosphere were great, the service was exceptional.
All in all pretty good, but steak lovers beware. Very poor cut of ribeye for the price.
Expensive with a very small menu. Our waiter did help some some menu alterations, but overall this wasn't a great experience.
You gotta check out the rib eye steak! No steak sauce needed! Porkchop is huge! Worth the price!
Our meal was outstanding (as always), service excellent and atmosphere perfect! Biltmore never disappoints!! Always a special and delicious meal/evening!
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Cedric's. The live music was great. Waiter friendly and professional.
Outdoor seating on a beautiful evening is best, as it is extremely noisy inside. Prices a bit high for the selections and quality. Service was excellent.
Excellent, friendly service! Flavors are well balanced, thoughtful pairings of food, sauces, and sides. Food carefully prepared to order. Enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night, selected totally different items and were just as delighted with our meals.
I ordered lobster sandwich which I loved and felt the portion size was great. I also loved the fries but they either needed salt or a dipping sauce. Slaw was fine, just s little too sweet for my taste. Husband got pork tenderloin special and he said it was great. The cost was far more than we normally spend for a night our, especially with sides bring slaw and chips. Waiter was great. Loved the music.
We love this restaurant . One of my husbands favorites for lunch. that being said the service was not the usual .The hostess was polite and accommendating because I have a mobility problem' the waiter was off . the food was excellent as always
My wife, daughter, and grand daughter had lunch at Cedric’s on Father’s Day. We all had Fish and Chips which was excellent - as usual. Grand daughter had a salad, most of the pickles and bread.
We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent as well.
We love to dine there outside on the patio and listen to the live music. My husband loves
the salmon, and I love their preparation of halibut. Both are delicious. Service is always
Service was very good. Restaurant was clean and decor good. Menu items were very over priced.
