Family friendly. Great food. Not very loud because of the social distancing and no one seated at the bar area. Definitely make a reservation!
On vacation. Visited the Biltmore. Made a reservation at Cedric’s. They were able to seat us a little early. Good service and food.
Really a nice restaurant with great service and ambiance. Definitely recommend this.
Excellent! Excellent social distancing! Food was great! Service was excellent!
Our go to favorite for upscale outdoor lunch. Had the vegetable tart and salmon on salad most recently; the salmon was outstanding. A bottle of the Biltmore Pinot Grigio goes down very easily on a hot summer day - better pace yourself!
We had one mixup on the salad and they corrected it in 3 minutes. Loved the complimentary pickles, but next time will pass on the pimento cheese appetizer - it was not bad, but I like mine with very sharp cheddar and this was mild and somewhat garlicky (which does'nt belong in pimento cheese in my book).
Second time we've had lunch there this summer - super safe, handling the protocol very well. Undoubtedly will go again multiple times before the year is over.
Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. We tell all our friends in Connestee Falls what a fabulous restaurant you have. We look to our next time for dinner.
Always excellent food. Service was friendly and attentive. Tables spaced to enforce social distancing but still had nice ambiance.
Excellent food, great atmosphere (especially on covered patio). My favorite place to eat on the Estate and one of my favorite restaurants all around.
Cedric's Tavern offers an excellent menu with something for all tastes. The Biltmore Wines are also a treat.
Food was great and our table was ready 3 mins early and the staff were very helpful
We attended during limited seating due to COVID-19. Was very nice and staff was attentive.
Thank you for an amazing food, excellent service and an amazing atmosphere
Meal was great until we waited more than 30 minutes to pay the bill. Never saw our server again and we just had to leave cash (which wasn’t allowed due to COVID) as there was no hope that she was ever coming back. Frustrating ending to what should have been a great evening.
They are just starting back up. Service was good. Menu was limited. It was the weekend at BILTMORE and the restaurant was very busy. This was the only place that took reservations at BILTMORE for a meal and I was lucky to get one on Open Table. I think this is a better place for fun and a meal as things return to normal. Oh , the host desk also took us early 15 before the reservation time, graciously acknowledged our anniversary and was outstanding. This is also walking distance from the Village Hotel at Antler Ridge. So it’s fun and perfect if you at staying at the Village or just finished a tour of BILTMORE. Like most things on the estate, it’s not inexpensive..
This is one of our FAVORITE places to eat. We come to celebrate special occasions in our family and it is always a treat and a delight. Excellent in all ways.
Very clean and safe during coronavirus. Great outdoor ambience. Excellent food and fantastic waitress!
My waitress was great! Food was delish. We had an early dinner so it was nice, not crowded or loud.
Great service by Paige!
Ate dinner meal under new social distancing requirements. Fewer diners made noise level much lower than during normal times, which was great! Limited menu, but still have enough choices. Food quality was excellent, and service was as well. We always eat at Cedric's once when we visit Biltmore. Highly recommend.
I always enjoy Biltmore and dining at Cedric's! Wait staff always friendly. My issue is the dogs now on the premises. I like pets but not at food establishments and a place as wonderful as BILTMORE..
Great atmosphere, service, and excellent food. They were great with moving our reservation and having a water bowl for our dogs.
It is our go to place due to the careful practices during this Covid time. It also has good food and friendly service
Very safe Covid measures! Love the pickles! Ask for the recipe!
Such a great charming place to relax after seeing the Biltmore property!!
Everything was great and glad to be back. Service was exactly what you expect on the Biltmore Estate.
Great visit will return!!Good was good staff is very nice.
The new setup for the salmon was amazing. A great last meal for our stay at the Biltmore.
Stopped here based on nice reviews after spending a few hours at the Biltmore Estate and gardens. The food was very good and our waitress/server was excellent, very professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend Cedric's for lunch or dinner; great place and we loved the tribute to the dog (named 'Cedric').
The food is delicious and our service was outstanding. Highly recommend the Deviled Eggs appetizer and the Shepherd's Pie. My husband ordered the beef cut of the day and it was cooked exactly as he ordered.
The food was good and they did a great job keeping the experience safe with COVID-19. Was disappointed that they didn’t have the salmon entree that was advertised online on the menu.
Our experience was comparable to any chain restaurant. I was unimpressed, as I had higher expectations for the Biltmore and price. Everything was just average/below average, honestly.
Seated at exact reservation time.
Service was outstanding!
Food was delivered very quickly and was hot and delicious.
Even with Covid procedures in place we had a very enjoyable dining experience. Felt very safe with servers, host, all crew wearing masks as did we until food was served.
As a passholder, we’ve visited many times but this was our first outing since March 9th because of the pandemic. We were very please with our experience and was glad to be able to enjoy a Biltmore restaurant again after 3 long months. Safety and well-being of staff and guests was practiced throughout our visit.
The weather was superb and the new Covid procedures comforting. My wife and I needed a break from almost quarantine so we were ready to relax and were quite pleased. The service was attentive and the food excellent. We have been there several times and have not been disappointed.
First visit back since they reopened after the COVID virus hit. Menu was extensive, but perhaps they should concentrate on fewer dishes to improve quality. Masks required inside, staff all wearing them and guests were asked to wear them until they were seated. Some outside dining under a nice awning. My husband ordered their signature fish and chips and it was disappointing. Expected a robust piece of flaky, moist white fish with a beer batter but instead got a flat piece of slightly dry, frozen tasting fish with a light crispy coating. The fries and remoulade sauce were very good. I ordered the Garden Tart, like a quiche/pot pie, the crust was flaky and delicious, the quiche filled with spinach, cheese, onion and roma tomatoes. Very good, accompanied by a small side salad with baby lettuce, radishes and a light dressing. Desserts were very good but pricey. Beer and wine available, I had a Ginger's Revenge drink that was excellent, sort of an alcoholic version of ginger beer with great flavors. Would recommend Cedric's but do NOT order the fish and chips. Other dishes I've had there in the past have been very good!
We visited Cedrics today and it was the first time we have been at a restaurant since the new rules in place for covid. We were nervous but within minutes of arriving our minds were well at ease.
We were sat at a lovely table on the patio and the tables around us were placed comfortably apart. Our server, Danielle, greeted us warmly wearing a mask and standing close but still maintaining a safe distance. We chatted and she told us about some of the food options and left us to make some choices.
We chose the pimento cheese as an appetizer and as someone who has never had it I was unsure but one bite and I was a changed woman! It was absolutely delicious, a nice light creamy texture and a savory taste with no spice just flavor! Paired wit the little pretzel crisps it was a perfect start. Danielle also brought over a little mason jar of their house made pickles and when I say they are literally the BEST pickles I have EVER had, I am not exaggerating. They were juicy, had a tart vinegar flavor but still less a hint of sweetness that was perfect. (She so sweetly offered to bring more when she saw how quickly we devoured them!)
For entrees I ordered a cheeseburger with tilamook cheddar and fries, and my husband ordered the fried spicy pork sandwich with fries. Both were so good and very filling! My husband used the little bit of pimento cheese left and put it on the pork and he said it’s a winner :)
This was our first time here as we are new to the area and I cannot wait for the next time we can visit. The atmosphere was so inviting and the service was wonderful. Thank you Cedrics for making our first time back to a restaurant (without our toddler!) a pleasant and relaxing experience!!
They had the tables spaced out nicely and had the option to sit on the outdoor covered patio or inside and we chose inside since it was a little warm outside. Delicious food and great service. The burger was great, fried pork sandwich was great, and lobster mac and cheese was good - had lots of big chunks of tasty lobster, but not quite as cheesy and gooey as expected (we were thinking gooey cheesy mac and cheese and this was a heavy pasta dish with a little cheese, lots of great lobster chunks and roasted veggies). Overall a great lunch and would come back again!
We enjoyed being outside and the fact that tables were spaced so that we could converse without disturbing others and felt safe during this time of the pandemic. The food was very good, the service was excellent and waiter was very personable. We will definitely return!
