My husband had the pork chop dinner and says it was the best pork chop he’s ever had...he also really liked the potato and fried green beans. I had the lobster roll which was okay with chips that tasted over fried.
From the hosts/hostesses to the wait staff, ambience, music, food...it was all perfect!!!
The food was great - I had a cheeseburger and my husband had the bison burger. Both were delicious. The BBQ on the bison burger was a bit too much for our taste but not bad. The BBQ fries were amazing! We would go again.
Food and service was outstanding. Enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the great weather.
We started with the amazingly yummy deviled eggs... unusually good! The salad was one of the best I’ve ever had as the greens were super crisp and fresh. We recommended Cedric’s to everyone we saw during our time in the Village!
Just one criticism- I wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu. Food was good, and the service very good.
Was the only time we were up for having dinner and I am so glad we went - My Husband & I both enjoyed our burgers... And our daughters snacked on our fries - There was plenty food and the drinks just kept coming... Thank you Ms. Pam!
Other than HAVING TO PAY $$ To get onto Biltmore Estate grounds, ALL at Cedric’s was GRAND! We’ve eaten there last Nov.
KEEP UP THE GIOD WORK!!
Delicious food. Our waitress forgot to put our appetizer order in, but otherwise our dinner was awesome!
Very enjoyable end of the day experience afyer a tour of Biltmore estate ans wine tasting at the winery. Deviled eggs were great. Pork chop was wonderful and the corn pudding was outstandinf. Nice atmosphere with live guitarist and vocalist performing.
We always enjoy Cedric’s!! We especially enjoy dining on the patio in the summer and listening to live music! We typically have fish and chips but recently have enjoyed lobster roll! Both are great!!
Every time I visit Biltmore, which is often, my favorite place to dine is Cedric's. I can always count on delicious food, great service, and wonderful ambience. Cedric's is truly a wonderful dining experience.
Good food and great service as always. Super friendly staff. Portions are very large, so we usually split entrees and salads.
We visited Cedrics a few years ago and the fish and chips were wonderful. The last 2 times we have visited I ordered the fish and chips the fish has been very dry and the fries tasted like they were cooked hours before and maybe sat under a heat lamp. Very disappointed in the food. But every thing else was fantastic.
Environment is what you would expect for a pub on a square. Lively conversations, musicians, kids. The food we had was good, prices reasonable for the location, and service was good. One of our preferred places to eat at the Biltmore Estate for lunch. We made reservations one day to sit inside, walked up and sat on the patio the other day. Recommend reservations on the weekends or peak seasons.
Overpriced, but food and service were good. I had a $22 cheeseburger and fries.
Wonderful food, great service, and nice atmosphere!
The wait staff were wonderful, but the rest was so so. My steak was grisly and the bison was dry, as was the fish.
Server was excellent and very helpful with ideas re things to do and her favorite dishes. My wife had the salmon which was cooked perfectly and I tried the pork burger which also was cooked perfectly, both juicy and flavorful.
Exceptional dining location for an excellent meal. Casual atmosphere but still elegant enough for special occasion.
Great service, great food
Stopped for lunch after Biltmore House tour. Service was outstanding from Peg. Loved the cheese and pepper dip. Very relaxing
The food was good and the singer outstanding. As for the rest, not so good. The ambience was very loud for most of the time, with a group of six screaming women at the having a fight. Even when they made up, they were still screaming. The musician gave up at one point.
But the worst part was their handling of my wife's soy allergy. This is not a "fun" allergy - if she comes into contact with soy, her face, mouth and tongue swell up. This had been explained on the booking notes and again when we arrived. My wife chose a calamari appetizer which had been pronounced to be soy-free. When it arrived, it had an aioli source that had been made with mayonnaise. Since most commercial mayo contains soy, we asked what type of mayo? The answer was Duke's (NC's favorite). Does it contain soy? we asked. "No" was the definitive reply. I looked up the ingredients online and there it was - the first listed ingredient: soybean oil. The question had be now been asked three times, and three times the kitchen had said no. The chef then came out with a garbled explanation of why this should be that notably did not contain an apology. He then made up a soy-free version.
I should say that the server was mortified and apologized again and again; she also took the appetizer off the final bill.
So, beware: if you have an allergy, do not go there!!!
A wonderful end to a day at Biltmore. The service was excellent.
Right in the heart of Antler VIllage, great live music that was not so loud you couldn't think. Our server was awesome! He did not hover but was there when needed. Great Sangria and wine. Our dessert chocolates came on a plate that read, Happy Anniversary, written in cursive chocolate! Yes, it was our anniversary. The food was also very good!
Dessert was the best thing! Loved, loved the cornbread. Do not leave without ordering these two things.
We had a delightful experience at Cedric's Tavern on our first evening at the Biltmore Estate. Although we were a little early for our reservations we were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and even brought my husband a special dessert since we were celebrating his birthday. It was a fine pub experience.
My husband and I had the pretzel roll with the mustard butter. They were amazing! The fish was perfectly battered and seasoned. Our server was very helpful and friendly.
This is in our rotation for Asheville. The Biltmore is always at least very good. Attentive and friendly staff. The food is on point though the menu is pretty fixed.
Always love the bison burger. Deviled eggs app also good
My husband and I split a bison burger, which was delicious. We also had the deviled egg & pretzel rolls. The service from Seth was excellent! This is definitely one of our favorite eating spots at Biltmore.
The food was amazing! The service was excellent! Thanks for an incredible last night at the Biltmore dinner!!!
Their nightly special sirloin that I had while there was VERY good. Even though it was cooked more to medium-well than medium it was still a VERY good steak.
Our waiter was nice but our food server was completely disinterested in his job. Food was marginal. Over cooked seafood and yesterdays potatoes “at gratin” reheated in the microwave.
Food was fantastic! We had soup of the day - a seafood mixture that was out of this world. I enjoyed the salmon while my husband had the red snapper. Our server was very attentive and made us feel special (we were celebrating our 40 th Anniversary)! Atmosphere was less formal than the Inn at the Biltmore, so we could enjoy checking out all the unique shops in the Village! Definitely would recommend Cedric’s Tavern!
Vegetable soup and Bison Burger were amazing. Service was great!!
First I am a pass holder at the biltmore and have been for many years now. We decided to eat at cedrics just on a Monday night June 17th, the tavern wasn’t busy at all. So we went in and wanted to sit inside away from the awful music that they had going and also it was hot outside.. and the two hostess were no help and extremely rude.. they definitely didn’t help accommodate us and they didn’t care if we went somewhere else.. just RUDE!! so we left and I got on open table and made a reservation and in 7 mins I walked back in with a reservation. And immediately sat down. So you would rather not fill tables and wait on reservations.. come on it’s a Monday not the weekend. You could have just accommodated us.. instead of upsetting my family and I. We will not return. Thank you
Where’s the Shepherds Pie!! Don’t get me wrong, The food and service were great, as usual, but the Shepherds Pie wasn’t on the menu.
Why do they not accept pass holder discounts on Father’s Day when the creamery next door does.
Food was great as always. Service was great as always. We love Cedric’s Tavern.
