Yes but I would let them know ahead of time that it’s pricey
Great food excpet for the Meat platter which was around $28. It was not very good and not what we expected.
Wonderful waiter and great Manager. We came back after walking around for an hour looking for a cup coffee for my wife and I. Your manager gave us each a cup for free. Great customer service, we will be back.
Great food and top notch service. The pimento cheese appetizer was excellent.
We chose to share a few things; potato soup, fish & chips, pork belly. The potato soup was bland, the pork belly was mostly all fat, and the fish and chips were just ok. Everything was kind of just ok for the amount they charge. Portion sizes were decent, I just expected better quality for the cost. However, the service was great, very friendly and attentive. I know I am at the Biltmore so everything is overly expensive. I think next time we will just go into town for dinner rather than dining on site.
We cannot wait to return in the spring so we can eat at Cedric's Tavern again. Food was superb. Waiter fantastic. Great addition to Biltmore family.
Like everyone and everything associated with the Vanderbilt tradition and the Biltmore Estate, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent!
We came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. We were a party of five celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday. We ordered the pretzel rolls and beer & bacon almonds. We all ordered different items and we were all pleased with our selections. Our server surprised my MIL with some truffles for her bday. So sweet and three presentation was beautiful. Definitely recommend Cedric's Tavern. Great casually elegant atmosphere with great food. Hopefully our next time through we can try it again during a live music evening. Thanks for a lovely experience.
We had dinner at about 8:30 on a Thursday night. Our waitress was fabulous and our meal was delivered quickly and very tasty! I know that they were getting ready to close as we were one of the last couples in the restaurant but I think they could have waited to sweep the floors which they did all around us while we were eating.
Service, drinks, appetizers and desserts were outstanding. Entree meats were way overdone. Sides on a couple of the entrees were so bland they weren’t worth eating. But if you forget the main course, the meal was excellent and would have been 5 stars.
Our server Pamela was fantastic!!
The bison burger was phenomenal! My husband got the fish and chips and it was overcooked and really disappointing.
Great meal and service. Highly recommend it. Loved the Turkey Gobbler pot pie
Pretty expensive for a generic bar. Bartender was our waiter and very very helpful. 41 dollars for a very average bottle of Chardonnay is a little much plus the 18% tip.
Even with a reservation we still had to wait and then were put on a porch where the temp was not pleasant. 1/2 table was too warm and other 1/2 too cold because of portable heaters
There are a lot of places to eat at the Biltmore and we chose Cedric's based upon a quick online search of menus. I doubt any of the places would disappoint....after all the family members who run the Biltmore make a living from all the tourists who visit. Our lunch was above average as was the price. Overall we were happy with the experience.
We had a great dining experience at Cedric's Tavern. My wife and I enjoyed our food choices (salmon, fish and chips) and the service was friendly and efficient. Nice location in the Village near the Winery.
Loved everything about our visit!! Including the complimentary truffles! Have been to this establishment twice and would go back in a heartbeat!
Overall a good place to ear My fish was overcooked to the point of being inedible, but our hostess agreed, took it to the chef who agreed and quickly cooked another piece and deducted the cost of my meal from our bill. Great service!
Great server. Oysters were delicious as were fish and chips and mani entrees. Triffle dessert was perfect; bread pudding was overdone/dry—had the makings of a great dessert.
The music was a delightful addition to a wonderful evening. Having a reservation made all the difference in the world
People had as much as a two hour wait time.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at Cedric's, so I can't speak for any other time of the year or other items on the menu. Four of the five people in our party ate the Thanksgiving menu of Butternut Squash soup or Salad, Turkey, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and greens. The salads were as good as any other salad I've eaten. The turkey and cranberry sauce was classic and delicious. We think they must have ran out of the buttermilk potatoes, because the ones we received tasted like instant potatoes to us. They definitely stood out compared to the quality of the rest of the food. The 5th person in our party got the steak and potatoes and enjoyed it very much. The desserts may have been out favorite. The mini pie trios were delicious as was the Maple Cheesecake.
The pretzel roll and mustard butter were delicious as were the deviled eggs. My steak and potatoes were just ok. Not worth $44. Husband said his mahi-mahi was good but not great. Our server was excellent and the place is lovely. It was loud in there. There was live music and it was crowded as well.
Delicious holiday meal! Lovely and welcoming service in a comfortable and fun. Live music was great. Our party had the Thanksgiving menu and enjoyed it tremendously. Also had the vegetable farro risotto that was very good with a nice bright veggies in a rich risotto. Would go back for sure.
On time for reservation and walked right to table. Helpful and prompt wait staff. Pork chop was excellent.
Ordered a pork burger with fries, fish and chips and a small cheese board. All were ordinary, small portions, nothing special and the food wasn’t hot. Coffee, no drinks. The bill including tip was over $100!!! For lunch!
Loved the food and friendly service. If ever come back to Biltmore will eat here again.
It was our 35th wedding anniversary, the food and service was great. My husband is not a fancy meal kind of person, they accommodated his wishes with a smile. Keiton was an awesome server. The place was very nice.
I sat in the heated tented dining area (it is November). It was comfortable and quiet. Inside would be a bit noisier since there was music playing and a lot more people. The food was very good and the service excellent. I feel everything associated with the Biltmore Company is well run as an organization, and that includes Cedric's.
Chris our waiter was wonderful. We sat outside in the heated patio and it was much quieter than inside. Food and wine delish!
The best part of any trip to Asheville is eating at Cedric’s. We learned the hard way that a reservation is always necessary. The food is alway top notch but not fussy.
Birthday dinner was good after touring the Biltmore. Paige was our waitress and she was great. Oysters were really yummy. My husband got the steak and the potato - potato was overcooked and not that great. Steak was good. I ordered the risotto and enjoyed. For dessert we got the bread pudding - no ice cream on top - was not worth it. They had live acoustic music playing which was a really nice touch.
Food was over cooked on two or the four meals order (ordered medium - - received well done) . Cedric's did correct with new plates. Overall meals were just average, especially for the price.
My wife and I had lunch here as we were touring the Biltmore Estate later. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Even though double-sat, our server greeted us straight away. We placed our drink order and our food order. The food was great. I had the Bison Burger while my wife had the other burger on the menu (sorry, I don't recall the name of it without looking). Our server was attentive.
Even the art of clearing the table after a guest leaves was precision. The attendants had towels sealed in a ziplock bag for each table. Even having worked in restaurants years ago, I had not seen anyone else doing that.
It was great
The soup of the day (cabbage & hash) was delicious! Live music made it a fun tavern to casually have dinner. The fish in the “fish & chips” tasted really fresh but I wish the batter was crispy versus soggy. We also had the house steak, which was ok. Overall nice casual dining but still on the pricier side.
Cedric's was a great pick for dinner while we were staying at the Inn. The service was fast and friendly. We had the chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and root vegetables. Delicious! The blend of flavor was perfect. Live music added to the ambience.
My husband and I both ordered the brasstown ribeye. It was delicious! We enjoyed our dining experience tremendously. Christmas time at the Biltmore Estate is gorgeous. Not only was the food good but the Christmas lights outside the restaurant were awesome.
Yes, I would recommend. My waitress did not ask us what we wanted to drink. She just gave us water. I was able to order an item from the lunch menu. Overall atmosphere was nice.
A bit pricey. Otherwise, good food with great service. Try the pretzel rolls ; )
