Overpriced for the quality of food. Burger was $18 and lacking in flavor. Service was ok but wouldn't go back.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, spectacular service. Amazing gluten free menu.
Very good! We have been there many times. Food is always wonderful!
Thoroughly enjoyed our 56th wedding anniversary dinner at Cedric's. Food choice was more than complete, appetizer delicious, entrees wonderful, and Pamela was so nice and accommodating. Further, it is was appreciated that the manager dropped by and personally greeted us, as he did all the guests, to be sure things were perfect. A truly delightful 56th celebration. If you go, be sure that you somehow have a sample taste of their "Beer Jam".
It was my 15th Anniversary and the staff brought us champagne and chocolates after our dinner. Made for a very special lunch date.
The food is always unique and delicious and the staff couldn't be friendlier!
Great food and service.
We love dining at Cedrics - eating inside or outside is a pleasure. Our server, Chris, was fantastic. The food was delicious. We'll be back.
Enjoyed in very much.
The food was delicious.
The music was appropriate for the meal.
The experience was delightful.
We will return in the near future.
We were able to eat on the outside patio. Elliott and the Untouchables were playing on the gazebo. We had a great evening. Great music, food and ambiance.
Well they had a lactose free menu but I doubted some of it. Therefore my selection was limited. E,g., what about the fish batter?
Outdoor chairs were VERY uncomfortable.
We came here to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. Our server was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. In fact we also had others ask if we were OK and felt special. The food was delicious and we even got a lovely sweet surprise for dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a little noisy to begin but then quieted down and we were able to listen to the amazing performer.
We brought our friends from Maine who were visiting. It was a lovely evening with wonderful live music that was not too loud. Food was in incredible with outstanding service. Our friends felt they had experienced southern hospitality at its best which the Biltmore Estate is known for!
The food was good and the server did a good job. However, when we arrived with a reservation the hostess said we would need to wait about 30 minutes for an outdoor table. It was a lovely evening so we decided to wait. After about 20 minutes we were called and let to a dark table inside. We explained that we wanted an outdoor table, but were told none would be available. The hostess was clearly giving mixed messages.
Excellent food, good atmosphere.
We enjoy dining at Cedric’s when we visit Biltmore Estate. Our reservation is always honored, the food is delicious and the service is excellent.
Always good high quality food and good service!
Good bar food made a bit fancy and exotic. Tasty. Great service!
Nice atmosphere and good food. Our waiter Pamela was very friendly and efficient. Cedric's appears to have good management and service staff.
We go out for dinner to the Biltmore Estate about 9 times a year. We had not been to Cedric's Tavern in several years and decided to go for Saturday night dinner. The tables are set very close to each other so there is no private conversation to be had. The drinks and appetizers were good. I ordered the lamb special and had it cooked how the chef recommended it, it was extremely salty and just okay but for a $45 entree I was hoping for a bit more than "okay". My spouse had the steak, potato and baked bean entree that was so poorly done, the waitress comped the meal without us even asking. When she brought us the bill she apologized for how poorly the entree had been done and said she took off the charge for us. For desert I had the chocolate cake and my spouse had the coconut cake, both of which were several days old and very dry. We will not be back to Cedric's Tavern but will continue to go the other restaurants on Biltmore that are always a treat (Bistro, Deerpack and Stable Cafe)
Excellent as always. Server Chris R. was fantastic.
We really enjoyed our time at Cedrics Tavern. It was very nice and Jason, our waiter, was top notch. I would say it's very dark if you sit at high top by the bar. I made my reservation 5 days ahead and didnt get the outdoor seating I had specified which was my only complaint. The food and atmosphere were incredible. It is pricey for dinner. We will be back again!
Our service and food was really outstanding. The waiter was very helpful in helping us discern what to order.
We are annual pass holders and alternate between Cedric's (my wife's favorite) and the Bistro (my Favorite). Noise level was high only because of a very loud gentleman and table next to us. Service was not up to Biltmore standards. This is the first time I can ever remember leaving 15% gratuity and only for the gross post 20% discount.
Overpriced, bland, uninspired food. Dated atmosphere.
We love Cedric’s at the Biltmore. Food is always excellent and the setting is beautiful. Always a favorite of ours.
Our server was great. The food was mediocre especially for the price. My Tavern salad was plain old lettuce with a sprinkling of cheese, a couple of split cherry tomatoes with added chicken. Not what I expected.
Very noisy. Was not worth the price. Food selection is limited.
Very loud. Server was nice, kind but not overly outgoing. Food was good. We had a hard time hearing those across the table because it was so loud.
It was our anniversary and we have been to Cedric’s many times in the past. At least twice a year since they opened. That says something since we don’t live in the Asheville area.I do not want to give an overall negative impression. Food was good but not great as in the past. No pics because it was not pic-worthy in presentation. We LOVE this place. It was just off this visit.
We love the fish and chips!! Also we had issues with silverware but were given free desserts in return. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Excellent food, great atmosphere and our waiter was superb. The music inside and outside was the icing on the night!!
Our waitress went above and beyond to serve us and meet every need. A delightful evening.
Food not cooked all the way done ,waiter took it off of the bill . We did not feel good the next day don’t know if it was your food or something we ate at the wine store
We celebrated an anniversary here. Cedric's comped us on an item to recognize it---very classy. Enjoyed the guitar player. Food was very good. Our server was outstanding. Would recommend.
Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and was cold. Manager comped the meal and offered deserts. What was really annoying was that the same wine that we could buy for $22 at the winery was $41 in the restaurant. The winery is literally 30 feet from the restaurant.
Excellent Service from all the staff, food was amazing and nightly entertainment from a very talented guitarist/singer.
Would highly recommend Cedric's Tavern.
We love dining at Cedrics - be it for lunch or dinner. We have eaten here many times - just the two of us, with friends and with family. We have eaten both inside, outside and at the bar. We love it all. The food is delicious and constant. There are several entrees I keep going back to but it's all good. We'll be back again soon.
Only distraction was a very noisy child at the next table.
We had a wonderful time on Saturday. Nice people that sat next to us. One of the better times. Food and drinks were good. I would recommend this place, for a good time.
