It was one of the best meals that I have had in a long time! You belly dancer invited me to try out the restaurant. I an very glad I did. I can not wait to go back again! Thank You ! FD
Love. Love. Love this place.
I have requested to set the table at the Maroccan room since one of the guest was from Marrocos and they did not set as requests and not even called to inform about it. That was really disappointing.
Fantastic experience overall. One of our party has severe food allergies and they were able to customize the meal so she could enjoy it. Delicious appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Definitely try the baklava (made fresh in house) and Arabic coffee.
We had an absolutely marvelous dinner last Friday night. Our main course of frog's legs were the best ever. The staff is wonderful. They make you feel like family.
Nice restaurant but I don't think we'll return. The food was good but not great. Meat was dry in all our dishes and the portions were small.
Great food & excellent service!
Very good food. Reasonably priced. We enjoyed it very much!
It was our 21st anniversary. It was a great place to be together.
The staff was fantastic. They took care of our every need. It made our anniversary dinner very special. We loved being able to watch the belly dancer while we ate.
I was really looking forward to trying out this place and unfortunately it was completely underwhelming. I’ve had so much better Lebanese and Morrocan I’m not sure how this place is as popular as it is! The food was very bland, the Coke was flat and service was ok at best. My first and last time there.
My wife and I went early for dinner and had an intimate, wonderful meal. We shared the lamb tagine and chicken, sarma stuffed grape leaves and lentil soup. All delicious and wonderful.
The food and service were good. The only disappointment was them not allowing us to sit in the Huka room to eat lunch. There were many in our group that had never experienced Lebanese food before, and I wanted them to have the complete experience. I think this area should be open for lunch and dinner.
The hummus is authentic Lebanese hummus; it tasted as good as the hummus I had on my last trip to the Middle East. Great place for a full Lebanese meal or just a sandwich. Service was outstanding. I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends in SLC.
Fresh and delicious. Great service and fun environment. Was there for lunch but there is belly dancing and music over weekends so could be a fun weekend evening.
We celebrated a college graduation with a party of 9. Fantastic experience. Great food. Great ambiance.
We went to dinner right before seeing Hamilton at the Eccles Theatre and it was a perfect choice. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was attentive and professional as always. This is a great choice for groups or couples as there are so many menu choices that will suit all tastes, preferences and sensitivities. We had a 6 p.m. reservation and parked and paid until 8 p.m. which allowed us to park only once for the entire night. The theatre is a quick walk from the restaurant. Would absolutely do this again on a theatre night, or just a night out.
We tried Cedars of Lebanon as a last minute reservation. The wait staff were friendly and attentive but the quality of the food was average at best. The steak cut was poor quality and over-seasoned even for Middle Eastern fare.
Pre ballet dinner with wife and daughter. The flavors of the food were excellent. Ozzy was a great server. Friendly environment. The Lamb Tagine was tender and flavorful. Will definitely go back.
The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived, which had me worried. The service was outstanding and what appeared to be the owner/manager came out to greet us by name. The food was amazing! Definitely would recommend!
Very tasty food love the appetizer ground lamb on a pita bread tortilla like.
I had the lamb shank as a main entree it was cook perfect lots of flavor.
First time there and I really enjoyed everything, from the service to the food. Hoping to find something similar in Dallas. I recommend Cedars of Lebanon.
Great food and atmosphere. I went there for my birthday celebration. It's a good place to celebrate a casual event.
small family Lebanese restaurant, friendly staff, good food,
First time there and it was a wonderful first impression! Thank you!
Was very disappointed, service was molasses slow, bar took almost 30 mins for our apps, 50 mins to get our first order delivered, walked in at 7:30 pm, didn’t leave until almost 10 pm, not because we were having a great time... just sitting around waiting on drinks, apps and food..
The quality of the food was good, staff was nice, but the overall service was horrible... would not go back..
I've been to Salt Lake City exactly twice and visited Cedars of Lebanon both times. Such a refreshing change of pace from the other more meat-centric restaurants in the area! I was visiting on business with a mixed-palate group of some vegan, vegetarian, and fairly picky eaters, and they were all pleased by Cedars. We also got some great craft cocktails and wine to boot. Will return again and again. Thank you!
Great finding, will go again. I also notice the space between table, it makes it more intimate. Simply happy to have discover this place.
The food was tasty and the overall experience was very good as always.
This is or second visit to Cedars. As with the first one, we enjoyed the food greatly. Service was awesome as well. Last time the atmosphere was a bit better, but I attribute that to coming early due to a concert later in the evening.
You should certainly visit, and try their food. It won't be a waste, and you might find yourself rethinking middle eastern food.
My wife and I came here for a 'Date night' - and it was wonderful. The service was prompt and friendly and we especially appreciated the waiter being able to answer questions about food allergies. The food was simply magnificent. We'll be back!
My wife and I have been to Cedars before and loved it, but as an experiment I took our four children out on my own. I was incredibly pleased with how much they enjoyed the experience too. Each found an adventurous dish on the menu they really liked, they politely shared a couple of yummy desserts, and the live belly dancing was an added bonus that topped off the night. Now it is one of their favorite places and a great family memory. Can't wait to come back!
The food was delicious. There were 7 adults in our group. We ordered a wide range of item. Everyone thought their meal was very good. We will return soon,
Cute quiet place with great service and decent food. My only quip was that all if the meat dishes (except for lamb tagine) were overcooked/dry.
Ate at Cedars of Lebanon on a blister Sunday evening and had the restaurant too ourselves. Hummus is very good. We had the Lamb kebabs and Lamb couscous, both of which were very good.
We go here every once in a while because my husband loves Lebanese food. We recommend it! It’s nice to get out of the usual grind and have something different.
Very fun locale with fabulous Belly Dancing, and the food is wonderful. The owners were present, which made it a more intimate scene. But very fun!
This was our first time eating here. It was great- we will be back.
We were really looking forward to eating here, but in the end it was a let down. We were sat promptly and our order was taken. We also got water and our hummus app, but then it went down hill.
The hummus was nice and creamy, but the pita bread was cold and store bought. I prefer it hotter and a little toasted.
The chicken schwarma was not authentic. Normally schwarma is slices of chicken stacked on a bar and slow-roasted and then the meat is shaved off. This was just a boneless chicken breast cooked over fire and then sliced. It was luke warm and the flavor was lacking. The basmati rice was dry, and the vegetables were just ok.
The service was the worst part. While the staff was ultra friendly, it took forever to get 2 beers. Like, we were almost done with dinner before we got our dinners.
The food was great. We were served quickly. The price was reasonable. We'll go back again.
