Great food, salad bar is huge!
Their “Legendary” prime rib was the worst I have had. Tough and tasteless. The sides were mediocre at best. The ambiance is dark, dated, and diner-ish.
The hostess was very nice. The ladies at the bar were very attentive and smily. Our waiter was great and the food was delish.
We didn’t know if we’d still be able to enjoy the wonderful salad bar. We were happy with how they are implementing the salad bar experience during these crazy times of Covid.
As always, food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing. Only comment is that clean up staff checked on clearing dishes too frequently.
Overall a lovely experience.
Arrived for our reservation a few minutes early. There were only 2 of the 3 there at the time so they wouldn't seat us until all had arrived which always bothers me. We ate early to take advantage of the early bird dinner deals but unless you know this option is available the server will never let you know. After requesting the separate menu we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Tempura asparagus was excellent as were the drinks- but if you wanted a second cocktail the server was no where to be found. Salad bar was well thought out- they have attendants putting your salad together so it minimizes any transmission of germs. Entrees were also very good and portions were decent and adequate for the early bird specials (which are all $22.95). Overall a good, but not great experience. Could have easily been great with better service. Our server was pleasant, just mostly absent and not attentive which is a large part of why we dine out. We've been here before and will likely return at some point but not rushing to go back.
Great place for a good meal and special evening! So glad we found it.
Had it not been for a very loud group, the experience would have been wonderful. There was a very noisy group, yelling to each other. We could barely hear each other. It was extremely annoying going on the entire time we were there. It ruined the experience for us. The worst part is that Cedars management did nothing about it. Since this could happen again and knowing Cedars will do nothing about it, we will not be returning to Cedars.
Great views, great salad bar, prices are on pair with similar waterfront restaurants.
Made our 10 year anniversary feel special!! Prime rib was delicious!!
Went for a birthday and arrived to a little birthday card and ribbon confetti on the table. Had a few servers say happy birthday. Got sat at a table by the window as requested. Even received a free birthday dessert with silverware for all of us at the table. Staff was super friendly and food was excellent. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food, great view and relaxed environment.
Nice spot with a great view with great seafood/steak menu. Outdoor dining was nice with the heaters and service was good.
Wow, this was the best meal in a week of outstanding meals in CDA.
Great food & service, beautiful location.
We celebrated our first anniversary at Cedars over Labor Day weekend. We were welcomed to a table with a card and rose petals, and the best view in the restaurant. Our server was friendly and fast without being overly present. Food was delicious, although my husband’s steak ordered medium was well done- still very tender. A complimentary dessert was wonderful as well. My only complaint would be noise levels, as it was quite difficult at times for us to hear each other but overall we had a very special anniversary dinner and will definitely return sometime.
Awesome view for wife and I; as well as the prime rib!
The Covid-19 safety measures are questionable. Many staff members, including waiters, wear masks inappropriately, below nose. I observed some kitchen staff periodically walking in and out kitchen without masks.
Wonderful salmon and smoked trout. Fantastic service.
Table location on the water was perfect. Slight movement with the waves, but it is a floating restaurant. We had cedar plank salmon and NY strip steak. Both tasted great paired with some local CDA wine.
Table furnished promptly and according to requested location in the restaurant. Waitress Kimberly was outstanding as usual. Food was excellent; great job by the Chefs with all the food and served very warm
Everything was excellent. Salad bar was phenomenonal and the food portions were just the right size.
This restaurant has by FAR, the best location. You have to walk across a long dock to get to the restaurant itself. Once you're there, you can feel the floor rise and fall with the wake from the watercraft passing by and from the wind. It's not much at all, but you can feel it.
The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I had the scallops thanks to the recommendation of our server, Emily, and she was right. SUCH a good choice. The drinks were amazing and the service from Emily was fantastic. They are very lucky to have her on staff
You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't eat there.
Such a great location and vibe. Nice casual atmosphere. Great service! Very accommodating! Food was very good. Salad bar was quite good!
We were late due to traffic. They found us a table right away without an issue. We originally wanted a window view. They found a table in their outdoor dining area. It was FANTASTIC! Best anniversary dinner ever!
Great service. Horrible steak. Disappointed
Always awesome, great place to share with visiting family!!!
I loved my experience here! Sat by the window, loved the view. All employees were friendly! Food was okayyyy. Not great but I would still go back.
Restaurant was very busy so there was a wait even with reservations but food was delicious and waitress was very sweet.
I ordered steak medium rare; my wife ordered prime rib medium rare. Both were overcooked...almost medium well. No pink in the middle and both were very dry: kept adding salt, and even steak sauce, searching for flavor. Our friends ordered salmon and scallops; they said theirs were both good. It was also VERY noisy for some reason. Our friends were visiting from out of town, it was not the experience we had hoped it would be for them. Service was very good; food and noise level were very disappointing. Think we are going to look for a new go-to place when we have out-of-town visitors.
The best ahi tuna, halibut and prime rib dinners...always love the view of the lake!
Was hoping for a nice evening adult meal. Made reservation for 8 p.m. to help assure mostly adult diners. Found restaurant full of vacationers many with children. Seated in a lovely place, except near a dock door with people entering and exiting during the meal. Food was good, but can’t say it was special for the price. Seemed a bit short staffed. Staff tried to accommodate, and were very pleasant, but lacked personal attention. Just expected more for a ‘good’ restaurant.
Sorry - we had reservations but had to wait 20 more minutes - our waiter was too busy chatting with others and our food arrived cold - not so good to go there
I had made a reservation for a birthday dinner at Cedars. I also had called to confirm that my party could be seated outside in advance. Upon arrival we checked in for our reservation a few minutes early. Despite having a reservation the team did not try to seat us for over 45 minutes past our reservation. Not to mention our reservation was for 5:30 so it seemed a bit early in the evening to be delaying reservations. After waiting 45 minutes they tried to seat us inside and said they had no outdoor seating available. I walked outside and there was 4 available tables.
Between the waiting, rude service, and being lied to about tables we decided to leave.
Our first visit, but not our last....the food was fresh and amazing to match the view. All staff were courteous and friendly.
Birthday celebration! Our server did an awesome job as she usually does! Last three times we have been there she has served us! Awesome personality and member of your team!
The food was wonderful and the ambiance couldn't have been better.
Wife didn’t like her cocktail so they replaced it which was awesome!! I never got my clam chowder. Other than that it was great!! I would definitely go again.
Perfect window seat to enjoy a delicious dinner and wine with friends.
We loved our experience and the food was amazing. We felt for all the food we got and the quality it was reasonably priced as well. The views were amazing and the staff all seemed very friendly and easy to talk to. Defiantly will be going back.
