Cedar Street Grille
Tables too close together, small dining area. Food was tasty but way overpriced for portions. Party of 4 was not impressed
Good food. We both idea the brunch special frittata which was excellent.
Server did not rush us which was perfect since we only meet every 2/3 months
We love Cedar Street Grill and eat there every few months or so. This time my salmon was a little dry...
We were but were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive, but not too attentive. The service was great and the small plates and my dinner were all outstanding. The lighting was a little dark for my old watery eyes, but I saw younger folks than myself using the flashlight mode on their iphones to see the menu, so I don't feel so bad.
We have been there several times. The food is delicious haven’t had a meal that hasn’t been devoured. From the small plates to the specials, the desserts and drinks you’ll find lots to enjoy!
Our server as well as the food was outstanding.
Our night did start of disappointing, considering we made reservations several days in advance. We were a party of 2 women, and despite many empty tables, the hostess chose to see us right under the kitchen service window. I am scheduled to return to the area several times in the coming year, and will chose to sample other restaurants before returning to Cedar Street.
Delicious meal! Friendly, and relaxing!
Great service, unique tastes, delicious comfort foods, large servings - we'll be back!
I felt a little rushed. The wait staff kep coming by to take our order and we weren't ready. We wanted a glass of wine first. She kept looking towards our table. We finally ordered just to get her to stop coming by.
We go here often. It’s usually very good. Great atmosphere and cocktails. The menu gets changed from time to time but maybe should vary more by season?
One of my favorite places to eat and drink! Great wait staff, food and beverages! I personally like the music they play too!
We went here for my 55th birthday dinner. The meal was amazing. I had the steak pablo and my husband had the short ribs. We, of course, had the Chocolate Overload as my birthday cake. Our server was terrific, all around a great evening
We arrived a few minutes early for our New Year’s Eve reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant was relatively busy but service did not suffer. Our waitress Karen, took our drink order and explained the menu. We chose to order off the specials menu. I ordered the prime rib and my wife the scallop stuffed lobster tail. We were surprised at how quickly our food came from the kitchen, both cooked to our liking as ordered. Our waitress and another server checked on us appropriately. From the service to our meals we were very satisfied, especially given it was New Year’s eve. Highly recommended!
phenomenal food and service. The fried goat cheese and buffalo mac and cheese were to die for
Second time in. Good central location for all. Great food and service. Energetic noise level!
Always special and delicious!
Best yet! Cannot wait to go back!
The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, the beet and apple salad was delicious & our server made lovely recommendations!
The angry clam dish is a must have!
This was our first time at this restaurant. We were a group of four and a arrived for dinner. We were all very impressed by the quality and taste of each and every one of our plates. The curried pork stew was exceptional. We plan to go back this coming weekend.
This is my favorite restaurant in Sturbridge. I love the menu. Because the restaurant offers appetizers, soups, salads, small plates, large plates, and a-la-carte items, it is easy to put together a variety of options to satisfy the palate. I also love the atmosphere. The restaurant is quaint and, for the most part, the main dining area is quiet. Personally, I prefer the high top tables located in the bar area where it is more lively.
the menu looked great, but food not as great.... A tad disappointed....
Very unhappy about our waitress forgetting our appetizer. We sat there for 1/2 hr waiting for it. We finally flagged down our waitress and she said she forgot to put it in. Just then our meals came. She asked if she could put it in, but too late. We wanted it with our cocktails. We were looking forward to the angry clams all day, oh well...also, we miss the hummus and chips you used to serve as a courtesy ( not on the menu).
Appropriately priced food that was an overall excellent meal
Very friendly and polite service.
Delicious food with great service and staff. Comfortable ambience and perfect everytime.
As usual CSG proved a great choice for meeting friends. Food was excellent however the service from the kitchen was a bit disjointed. But credit to our server she was apologetic and did her best to keep things moving.
We will be back :)
Excellent, I’m on keto and there were quite a few options.
One of our favorite places! Great service, staff and food!
Poor night for food and beverage standards. Order beer had to tap keg, order fried chicken with broccolini kitchen out, chicken raw , ordered apple cobbler told sold last one. $180.00 for night Server did best she could but just bad ugly night.
I loved everything about this place. Great food! The serving staff was outstanding! Wonderful all around experience. I look forward to being back in Sturbridge just to eat hear again!
The portions seem to have gotten smaller. Much more expensive because of smaller portions. Still very good food but the value is decreasing
What an awesome restaurant. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious!
Cedar Street remains one of the finest restaurant experiences in Sturbridge
The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared.
The seasonal specials like pumpkin risotto are always great options
The service is polite friendly and quick
We had our longtime friend Barbara who as always took great care of us
We love Cedar Street!!
A not to be missed when in Sturbridge
Great place to eat. Excellent and varied menu. We've never had a bad meal there.
Something was wrong in the kitchen. Our gluten free request came out with fried onion strings on it and our medium cooked steaks were rare. Hopefully just an off night. Manager took all food off our bill, but 4 glasses of wine plus a tip was still over a $60 night to leave hungry on our 22nd wedding anniversary. Bummer.
Great menu. Great food. Great service. Looking forward to our next visit.
We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal with each course and even the sides just right! Tasty food and lovely service(the waitress gave good advice on a choice) in a quiet well decorated setting ~ all the makings for an enjoyable night out before going over to the Sleepy Hollow show at Sturbridge Village. We felt it made the drive out (one hour +) worth the trip. Thank you.
Food was good as was the service. I thought it was a little pricey. As an example, one of us had the pork chop special. It was one medium sized pork chop sliced over a dollop of mashed with some well done veggies, $28
My wife and I had done just a bit of research in the Sturbridge area. We happened upon the Cedar Street Grille with its 4.6 stars and were very, very pleased that they lived up to it.
We shared an order of the Angry Clams that rocked!
My wife had the Pan Roasted Salmon while I opted for a special of beautiful Duck Breast with a cherry finish.
The wait staff was excellent as well.
