Cedar Hollow Inn Restaurant & Bar
Chef Stephen Guiseppe of the Culinary Institute of America adds personal flair and imagination to a delectable menu of American Continental dishes. The daily Chef's Specials are creative and unpredictable, energetically inspired an hour or so before the menu is finalized.

We were in town for a tough mudder and was looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel. We were super happy with our server! He was awesome!!! Loved it! We would stop again if we are in town.
Food is excellent, service is quick, but too much noise due to alive singing
Stick to anything fried..
Great family celebration. Good food. Good service.
We have been coming here for Mother’s Day several years in a row now. The place is very quaint, inside is inviting, very good service staff, and very good food. Really good service at the bar as well. Soft, Live music as well for this Mother’s Day.
Overall we had a good time since we were celebrating mother’s day. We had been there twice before and enjoyed it. This time though it wasn’t nearly as good. Service was so so - we waited for our drinks for a while twice, and our food. We ordered salads to stave off the hunger - to the tune of $45 for 5 salads. I ordered the rockfish which was quite small. My family ordered the Mac and cheese w brisket - there was no brisket - so they subbed in with prime rib which was nice but it came barely cooked. My family was not impressed. They actually complained about it the next day. All in it was $290. Drinks are expensive there too. As I said we had a good time, but I don’t think we will be going there again. For close to $300 it was not a good value. Quite surprised and disappointed after being there twice before and really enjoying it.
We had a lovely lunch on the enclosed porch. Our waitress was very professional. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offering suggestions and answering all of our questions. It was a lovely experience and we will return soon.
We enjoy the nice service, food, and drinks on a regular basis for many years now and feel very well taken care of! Especially with a couple of food allergies/intolerances we feel safe and can really enjoy their wonderful meals. We just love the whole team!
The food was great but the service we received was horrible. I go here all the time with my company I work for lat unch and everything was great. This was my first time going in the evening with my family and I was very disappointed. Jay waa a horrible server.
We enjoy Cedar Hollow, it is one of our favorite dining places. It is like coming home, the staff is constant and we get to know the servers and they also know us by name. Such a happy place for us.
We were a party of 11 for a Birthday dinner. The food was delicious and the service wonderful. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. We had a great time and will definitely return!
The staff at Cedar hollow were great when I have a last minute request to move my sister's wedding luncheon here. They were super accommodating and let us decorate and gave us as much of a private space as possible. The food was delicious and Kyle our server was fantastic!
one of our favorite places for good casual dining. they are always welcoming. this was Easter and we had a choice of brunch or lunch. we ordered off both menus and all of our choices were very good -- especially the soup of the day which was a chowder.
Great Easter Brunch!
Went for Easter brunch with 10 of us they were very accommodating the food was awesome and was very affordable and the service was great
The best-kept culinary secret in Chester County. My 'top-two restaurants' has become my 'top-three restaurants'. Yeah ... it's that good!
Nice Restaurant. Noise level was a bit loud on the porch since the open doorway to our seating area was directly across from the bar. You could every personal conversation. I imagine if there was live music instead, this would add to the overall ambiance. The food and service were excellent.
Interesting menu for everyone. Delicious with well proportioned plates.
Quaint restaurant nestled away from traffic. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a personable host. We passed a lively bar and were seated in the enclosed porch. Service was excellent and menu had traditional fare and some unusual. Great place to try.
It was our first time here. Will be back. Enjoyed our evening sitting outside.
One of my favorites for food and drink.
Service never lets you down and atmosphere very welcoming. Like a good pub in Ireland.
Enjoyable veranda seating, delicious food and a personable, engaging server, Joe. I always start with the Wild Mushroom soup; my husband enjoys the oysters at a $1.00 each on Sunday. We always have a very good meal ay Cedar Hollow and appreciate that I can book the reservation on Open Table.
We had a very nice, very attentive waitress and the whole back room to ourselves.. The Caeser Salad was a little boring but topped off with a delicious piece of blackened salmon. I basically just ate the salmon - but my daughter tried it and loved the dressing which I believe was homemade. I would go back again.
Hostess graciously seated us away from a loud, large party and the front porch area was excellent. Menu is varied and competitively priced. The food arrived at a comfortable pace and the waiter was attentive but not intrusive. They could be more specific about which wines on their menu are excluded from their Tuesday 1/2 price offer.
Cedar Hollow was a great find! A little off the beaten path, but definitely worth finding. Our service was excellent and the food was delicious! Will put this on our list!
Amazing! Staff treats you like family and the food never misses!
Overall very good. Sat on porch which was very full and busy and noisy. Server was good but slow because of the crowdedness. Food was excellent and we loved the selection.
It was a pleasurable experience dining for lunch in the enclosed front porch with the bright sunlight streaming in. The grilled shrimp on a bed of rice with an avocado salsa was tasty and just the right portion size. I love my food piping hot - the dish came out only warm to hot, but was still quite good. I'd order it again. The sounds on the porch bounce around and when the table near us left, the noise came to a medium level. Lunch prices are reasonable and provide good value.
Love this place! Delicious food, homemade chocolate silk pie is amazing. Staff is very friendly and service is great. Looking forward to returning soon
We were able to grab a table quickly after making a last second decision about eating out. Food was fairly prices, staff was friendly.
Cedar hollow is always a great place to dine
The staff is always attentive and friendly and professional
Another great meal away cedar hallow, service was excellent, attentive but not smothering. Very good beer and wine list with a casual atmosphere.
Everyone had an excellent meal and mine was particularly good and the temperature of the food was hot
Four diners and only two of us enjoyed our meals :(. The red snapper was extremely fishy tasting (I know it's fish, but...) and the salmon didn't completely match the menu description - it was in a full dish of broth - more like soup with a chunk of salmon in it. My hangar steak was outstanding as was my husbands duck. Still will go back.
I'm always happy with the food and service. I don't like being seated in the front room, it's always loud, usually very warm, and is such a small room I feel too close to other diners.
I've eaten here before and had a very pleasant experience. This time however was a disappointment. Yes we were greeted very nicely and shown to our table. The restaurant was very busy and it took some time before our server approached us. She was very cordial and attentive but I saw that she had quite a few large tables to attend to, it was lunchtime. She was overbooked! It took some time, 20 minutes, just to place our order. By the time we (5) had received our lunch platters, we had spent 40 minutes of our lunch hour. We ate our meals quickly and didn't have time for desert. From beginning to end we spent at least an hour and a half in the establishment. In times gone by we were in and out, back at work, within our allotted lunch hour.
I ordered the mushroom soup which was amazing, and my friend and I ordered the lunch special Fish & Chips. The fish was very greasy and very over-cooked, neither of us would order that again. The others ordered salads, wraps, and catfish. Salads were very good, the wrap was yummy, but the catfish was also disappointing, my friend said.
Since this was not the first time we have been to this restaurant, we knew they could do better.
I did see a 'Servers Wanted' sign in the window, so it was probably just understaffed that day.
Came to the restaurant for a work team lunch. Our server was very attentive even though she was very busy. Lunchtime is hopping. Food was terrific from the soup to sandwiches. Definitely will be back.
It was tasty veal chop!
Business dinner with colleague.
Recently ate at Cedar Hollow Inn with my team while on business travel. We were all pleased with the charming location, friendly & attentive service staff and the delicious food! Everything I tried - the Fig Flatbreads, Cheese Plate, Spinach Dip, Salmon BLT and Chocolate Mousse Cake - was top notch, but some of my fellow diners had a few (very minor) issues with their orders, which kept me to giving only four stars. We sat in the dining room, but the bar looked like a warm and friendly place as we passed through. If I was a local, I would definitely make Cedar Hollow Inn one of my go-to dinner spots!
