My boyfriend and I were visiting California to celebrate his birthday, and I picked Cecconi’s for a nice dinner with family. It was absolutely perfect! I follow a vegan diet and the rest of our party had no diet restrictions and we all enjoyed fulfilling meals at Cecconi’s. They even gave us a birthday cake for the table, with a candle and we all sang happy birthday. An absolute five star experience. Thanks again!
I’ve always loved ciccones. It was super hot on the patio. Took asking 3xs and 10 minutes to get ice tea. Was a very average experience whereas I’ve always loved it
Always lovely and delicious. Outstanding service.
We had a reservation for 7:30. We got there on time but were kept waiting, standing at the entry ( one of us was disabled ) even though empty tables were visible and people who came after us were seated.
Food came sloooow. But worst- we were served the wrong food: one was supposed to be chitarra pasta (square cut egg pasta) with octopus and sea urchin a bread crumb topping we got ordinary spaghetti with a red sauce and a tiny bit of little non- descript seafood, the other pasta dish was equally awful. Supposed to be linguine with clams but again got boxed spaghetti with a few coquinas. We would have sent both back but we had already waited for 45 min, been told they were out of breadsticks ( we sat at an empty table) only to see a table seated much later near us served breadsticks ( and as we were waiting for our check they too got linguine with clams- but their dish was covered with clams not coquinas- real food. Infuriating)
We will never return to this dreadful place.
If I could give Cecconis zero stars I would. DREADFUL.
We went there for the first time to celebrate our birthdays. (2 of us had birthdays). We noted that on open table and it was confirmed at the restaurant as well. NO acknowledgement or special anything for our birthdays. Very disappointing. No celebration for us at this restaurant. Very insulting to say the least.
Love this place and the food is ok, but the pizza is great! Service is great and we always have a good time here!
Fantastic authentic Italian food.
Food was delicious. Prepared beautifully. Service was a bit slow. Overall nice experience.
Very disappointing dining experience. Low quality food and poor service.
ALWAYS a favorite for food, atmosphere and clientele
Absolutely love it! It was my first time there and i cant wait to come back. Food stole the night.
It was our first time dining at Cecconi's and it immediately became one of our favorite restaurants in the LA area! Everything was just perfect! The food was just amazing, the place is beautiful, and the service was so, so friendly. Everyone took such great care of us. We can't wait to go back soon!!!
Great food and atmosphere but very noisy and very cold
We loved Cecconi’s and the food was superb. There was plenty of food for the four of us.
Service was great and the atmosphere was delightful.
We were there with friends from Sicily and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We are planning to return next Sunday for their Family Supper deal.
Today at Cecconi's, we had the daily lunch special with grilled salmon, fresh salad and cacio de pepe, YUM! service and food were exceptional as always!
Love this place.. A sure thing every time
Always a great spot whether for lunch or a date. Consistently good food and service.
I did not know that you can bring your dogs there...over 1 of my favorite spots.
Enjoyed the food, the restaurant is beautiful. Our waitress was very rude and I found myself having to ask for everything - daily specials, water refills, where our food was after a lengthy delay. The spot is a great place to bring friends/family from out-of-town, I just think we were unlucky & got a table in the wrong section due to the poor service.
Incredible !! Try the vegan pizza with gluten free crust, they make an almond cheese from scratch it’s to I’d for ;)
Once again they did not check us in.
Service and professionalism are always top-notch at Cecconi's. My favorite place to entertain clients from out of town. The best fresh foods and salads for any time of the day.
Poor treatment of a woman dining alone- an awkward seat at a high traffic spot, minimal interaction with wait staff, no menu suggestions, no inquiry about coffee or desert- the bill dropped off at the table before I have even finished the main course. Same thing happened prior two visits (waitress even tried to move me from a quiet small table when she realized I wouldn’t be joined by someone.) What is the deal against women who eat alone?
Our waiter was the right level of attentive. The food was excellent. I had a salad with quinoa, avocado, arugola and english peas; the peas added a lovely touch of sweetness and freshness. BUT THE RESTAURANT WAS REALLY LOUD.
Lovely dining experience. Food was delicious. However a little warm in the front dining area.
Always love this restaurant. Great for special occasions.
Don’t want to take the time to go over details of my disappointment . This was my second time here, and my first experience was great; hence why I brought 3 of my clients.
our waitress was so friendly, great vibe and ambiance
The food and service were definitely sub par for the prices. I’ve been here for lunch and had a much better experience.
Always great. One of my favorite places in LA!
Overall good service was very slow but overall great day.
Loved the service
This was my first time and my friend and I were celebrating our birthdays. The restaurant is beautifully decorated as are the patrons. Originally we were seated on the left side of the bar where it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear one another. We asked to be moved to the quieter part and we were accommodated. The calamari we ordered arrived cold and we had to send it back. Our waiter seemed like he couldn’t be bothered or really just had no personality. He never checked on us to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. At these prices, we shouldn’t be the ones asking for more water or ice tea. It should be refilled. We expected better service. Especially since I ordered the truffle risotto $65 plate. The risotto was delicious and so was the grilled octopus. Overall, it’s a beautiful place but I wouldn’t go back for dinner, just for happy hour.
I had happy hours, One item came with chili, although they asked me if i had alllergies and i said spicecy food-chilli. otherwise all was good
The food and service was great.
Usually great but really rude server tonight really spoiled the occasion. :(
Loved everything about it. Deliciousness. Great service. Loved our drinks. Will definitely return.
