We visited on Fathers Day with a reservation. After waiting 45 minutes, we were seated. The server was horrible (admitted she was having an "off" day. The food was ok, the portions small. NO kids menu, so, my 10 year old ordered a small pasta with red sauce and shrimp on the side (they could not cook the shrimp in the dish). $20 dollars later for a kids pasta, the shrimp was rubbery. I would not go back to this restaurant. There are too many fabulous ones with great service and food.
Unfortunately, the service wasn't great and the majority of my meal was forgotten -the potatoes and bacon to my eggs. Because the waitress never checked on us, it wasn't until we were ready to get the check that I was able to inform her of the issue. She offered to still bring them out but told me it would take 10-15 min which I obviously wasn't willing to wait for as my whole family was done eating.
The hostess sat the reservation 40 minutes late
Favorite restaurant in West Hollywood.
Very much enjoyed our happy hour. Comfortable table, great ambience and tasty food!
Always great food, great ambience and great service!
A total disappointment. We had a 9 pm reservation, arrived 10 minutes early and didn’t get seated until 9:20. 30 minute wait for a reservation. Kale and avocado salad was delicious. My dinner partner enjoyed the Margarita Pizza but my salmon entree was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Almost burnt, dry and lacking any flavor. Service was slow and snobby. We had waited so long and the restaurant was too loud so we decided it wasn’t worth sending it back to kitchen. With all the great restaurants available in LA, no need to return to this one.
Great layout. The restaurant is FAR, far too loud inside. They need to manage the sound better. I was also greeted by the most beautiful hostess with a scowl as, apparently, I did not meet her criteria for customers. Waiters were great which salvaged this review. We go the handmade pasta with black truffles special. They forgot to mention that that entree' was $65.
Great food. Tiny little restaurant. Good service.
Cecconi's never fails to impress....fabulous as always! The host station is nothing short of amazing how they handle Monday night, their busiest night! We had handicapped persons, and you helped us to get seated flawlessly!
I’ve been a few time’s to Cecconi’s and the great this is the service, food and most importantly - consistency.
Still a beautiful place with great service and good food. I hadn't been in a while and suggested it to meet a friend in from out of town and it did not disappoint.
Yearly trip with a girlfriend. Second time going there. Love the location and the ambiance.
The perfect spot for a special celebration.
Really good pasta with riccio, better than expected.
I love this place! Always great food and perfect service.
Loved the new app for the Free!!!! valet parking.
They place Grissini in a little shot glass on your table when you sit which is great, however when a table left and they cleaned it they took the left over grissini from that table and put it back from where it was kept to reserve I found that unacceptable
The food and drinks here were amazing. We ordered pizza, lox bagel and polenta with poached eggs. I cannot tell you what was my favorite because they all were that good. It is a bit spendy; however, worth it for a special occasion.
Ordered a medium steak. Came rare and somewhat cold.
Pasta was good.
I love Cecconi's for every meal but especially love their breakfast. Perfect atmosphere, delicious menu, impeccable, friendly service.
Service was mediocre, food was cold when it got to our table. Food took a little over an hour to be served. We had a reservation and still had to wait about thirty minutes to be seated. Not what I expected for the price I paid.
Dinner was sent back 2x, the third time I just went without eating. One of my favs, but will not return
Sitting in the patio area during the day time has a great energy and atmosphere. The food is always on point, and it's perfect for a special occasion!
To be honest, I expected more from this restaurant. The waiter was very relaxed and sometimes could barely be bothered. The serving staff on the other hand were lovely. The food itself was good but not amazing and the trash cans in the bathroom were overflowing with paper towels. However, it’s great for people watching and the ambience.
For some reason the food was average - didn’t come out at the same time. Waiter was distracted or too busy
Food took long time. Waited long time for water and bread. People came after us already got their food before us.
After reading the reviews we were so looking forward to this.
We ordered many different dishes including the veal, but it all appeared at once.
The waiter had to pull another table over as there was no room the veal was dry and over cooked,
The restaurant manager didn’t even come and see us and left it up to the waiter to inform us that there would be no charge for the veal.
Overall good experience. Great vibe and delicious drinks. Wait staff could be a little more attentive.
Bennie was an excellent server as always as was her team of helpers. Great food , service drinks and ambiance
So many things off the menu at 7pm on Sunday night.
This was my second visit to Cecconis and I am already hoping for a third. The whipped ricotta appetizer was delicious! I took my mother for dinner and we shared two appetizers, one main course and one vegetable as then one dessert. That was plenty of food. The service was good-friendly and attentive.
A great go to option for classic LA dining.
We had great food, great service and tremendous people-watching.
Lived in the area for years decided to drop in for happy hour and was shocked at how good everything was, server was outstanding and I will definitely be back for the full dinner experience.
Great atmosphere and the food was excellent. The staff were great despite how busy the restaurant was.
Some interesting characters for people watching and all in all it was very reasonably priced.
Blackened truffle pasta special was amazing. Best I've ever had. Touch on the pricey side but well worth it. Ambiance was second to none
