The best breakfast in LA!!
The service was bad. Never got a refill of water once and we were there for over 2 hours. It wasn't busy either. The food was just ok. Nothing special. Food was 3 star. Service was 1 star. So 2 star for the overall experience.
the food was amazing and the waiters were so kind!! amazing service
Extremely noisy, can’t talk
Very nice setting.
I eat all over the place. From here to Dubai. Visiting LA for a few days after Coachella. I was here last week and had some great dining experiences at CATCH LA, Nobu, Chows, etc. Cecconi’s is known for Italian dishes and impeccable service. This visit, however, didn’t showcase that. The agnolotti was good, but in two hours we didn’t get a single refill of water, the additional cocktail beverage I ordered was forgotten, our bread service didn’t happen, the Check took 22 minutes (timed it). The guy at the front couldn’t be bothered to speak when we arrived. I’m usually pretty quiet. I either love a place and visit everytime I’m in a certain city or country, or I don’t and they never hear from me again. This one, however, I feel that our service was poor because we are African American. And I’m fresh from Coachella so i probably don’t look “the part”. Should I need to pay with a centurion to get good service? No. Did the server perk up when he saw it, however? Sure. I still tipped well. My mother raised me right. Too bad his didn’t. Poor experience! Won’t be returning. You really can’t get good Italian outside of NYC or Italy anyway... I’d rather book a flight to NY and eat at Il Mulino.
We were very happy taking out of town visitors here for a late lunch. We were seven which can be an awkward number but we were seated right away (with a reservation for six) and were served delicious food quite quickly and with admirable service. We would definitely go back. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We had French and Italian speakers and the waiter seemed to manage both!
Love the restaurant, great vibe and good service, but the food was bland and tasteless.
Chef Samueli was amazing.
Heerlijke lunch in een prachtig decor!
Always the very best.
Great as always! Great food, service and ambiance!
Overall it was ok. Wasn’t crazy about the food or service.
Service is horrible. We were seated for 20 minutes and had to ask our waiter to place an order. Also food didn’t come out all together. In addition, the hostess have an attitude problem when checking in and being seated.
If you want to pay to feel like you are bothering someone for service, this is the place for you. Enjoy.
My favorite place 😔 manager didn't give a damn about my issues. Branzino is always on point but unless you sit with the outstanding bar staff the service is crappy.
Love love love Cecconi’s!!!
Just Wonderful as always. One of The Best restaurants in LA
our waiter went on a break after we ordered but didn’t let us or any other servers know. the manager apologized and discounted our bill but we were in such a bad mood from the experience, it was hard to enjoy ourselves.
Insect in the salad and the food took forever
It was all good, besides the hostile hostess
Gracious, old world wait staff. Cuisine is consistently solid but beginning to feel a little prepared by rote. Furnishings and window treatments are beginning to show wear and tear. We had one chair with an arm falling off and another whose seat cushion was so shot, it was permanently sunken. Time for a reset!
Visiting LA with family
The service and food was amazing. Our hash browns took longer than they should’ve, but the restaurant compensated!
Service was officious. Food came at different times. Atmosphere was nice and food tasted good.
First wedding Anniversary. It was so lovely! Multiple people working at the restaurant wished us happy anniversary and it was so lovely and romantic! They even threw in a delicious dessert! We loved it and it was a special experience.
Waitress was super helpful and careful about my gluten intolerance which I appreciated.
Our first time there and absolutely loved it!! Loved the food and the ambiance.
Well, the reason we choose this place again because last time food was great, but we had not the best experience with our male waiter (the young slim guy with he beard ).He was very inattentive, did not pay details to order or refuels. Was asked for splitting salad, he made big fuzz about it and still did not do it, by sending other waiter , kind of did not care about his job or gratuities. Not the best fit for this famous restaurant.
Meatballs were smaller, then a half year ago, pasta with lobster was not that spectacular and too expensive for that price..
The food was NOT good. Felt like everything was a little half-assed. If you are looking for homemade Italian comfort food, this is not the place to go. If you’re looking for eclectic food, small plates and sightseeing, this is more up your alley.
Noisy bustling place, however with relatively unspectacular people und food.
We love the restaurant but had an awful waiter that had a bad attitude and was very snarky during our visit
I HAD MY BIRTHDAY HERE AND IT WAS PHENOMENAL. GREAT FOOD, WINE AND DESERT!
Tables are too close to each other, no space between other people, impossible to enjoy the time. Near the bar no chairs for people.
Everybody was screaming. Don’t recommend for important meetings.
The food was very nice, service also.
Cecconis is a beautiful restaurant with incredible food. The atmosphere and decor are stunning also. Highly recommended!
Fun and full of energetic people. Food was small portion but hat was given tasted great.
Always fun and festive. The staff is great, helpful, very friendly.
This is an amazing place
Waited 20 min for service after we got seated by the host. Not acceptable.I had to grab a waiter and ask for menus and drinks.
