The waiter was amazing but the ambiance lacked. We came here for our anniversart and requested a more secluded table and were instead sat adjacent to the kitchen and constantly heard clanking of plates, servers yelling orders in and general kitchen noise. Not to mention were lit up with the heater lamps from the kitchen instead of having a candlelit ambience like the rest of the restaurant.
Good service, good food, not too noisy, good ambiance but maybe a little pricey.
Food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent.
Does not disappoint. Wagyu beef is well prepared and tender. An enjoyable experience.

I had never been to CBD Provisions and was looking forward to this dinner. the food was very good, not great, but good. The menu is very narrow, not a lot of choices. The service began very badly. The server could not get the beer order right and brought beers we did not order. After about 15 minutes, we had another server who was much more interested in us than the last one. Entrees were ordered, but he seemed to not know if the kitchen could sub one vegetable on the plate for another. This seemed like a BIG deal, in face, he had to go and ask the kitchen if this was ok. Probably won't go back here as there are a lot of other dining opportunities in Dallas that have a better experience associated with it. The large dining room had only about 4-5 tables taken, so it was not a crowded situation.

The food was lackluster. My linguine dish was overly salted and my friend’s steak was a poor cut of meat, especially for the price that we paid.

Wonderful restaurant and experience. The hostess and management were friendly and helpful when our reservation changed from 6 to 14. The experience had by all was wonderful. The menu choices, drink menu, wine selection, service and food were all 5 STAR. We will definitely be back and will recommend this wonderful restaurant to all.
Not so great coffee was awful as well as omeletted
Hamburger center was raw not a medium pink. Waiter never asked how the food was bc he could see the raw meat I scraped off onto the plate.
This place has to be the best bang for the buck in Dallas. There are certainly more expensive meals in Dallas, but it would be very difficult to get much better food. The menu is a bit limited, but every dish was expertly conceived and prepared. Excellent atmosphere without being pretentious.

I was dazzled by the photos of the pig head so I booked this impulsively, having not looked at the rest of the menu. When we sat down to eat, I was actually bummed. The menu seemed sparse and not very exciting. But everything we had was delicious (pimento toast, beef tartar, oysters) and then EVERY single cocktail we ordered was top notch (and we are cocktail snobs). Then the pig's head carnitas. They're served very simply: the head, a vat of pickled onions, radishes, and cilantro, and two jars of salsa with a stack of tortillas. Reader, they were incredible. We are native Texans and this was one of the best taco situations I've experienced in my entire life. A+++++++++++. We're staying at a hotel and we took the leftovers to go, jamming them into the minifridge. I don't even have time in our food schedule to fit in leftovers, but I couldn't let them leave my life. What a surprising, excellent food experience this was.
Terrible terrrrible service. Came for a business meeting and had an incredibly rude hostess. Probably woke up on wrong side of the bed or is very new?
In terms of our meal service - it took about 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee and to top it off had a piece of a zip tie in our veggies. A bit of a shocker.
Definitely not coming again
Our breakfast meeting went so well that I booked two other reservations this week.
The weekend brunch is great especially if you enjoy table service rather ten buffet lines (which are across the lobby at thheir Americano restaurant). The menu offers some delicious option not usually found for brunch. Generous portions too. It's worth a trip to Downtown where there is curbside parking on the weekend.
Food was awesome
This is my 2nd time at CBD and the pig carnitas is the clear winner of the night. I was also quite impressed with the mushroom side and I’m the furthest thing from a vegetable eater. I also liked the shells a great deal. The only thing I would suggest is more consistency in the size of the pig head. 1st time I had a huge pig head and this time it appear significantly smaller which was not appreciated. Service was impeccable.

We love going to this restaurant because the food is ALWAYS on point.
Let’s start with the service. Our server is always exceptional. No problems there. We love it. Last night steaks weren’t as good as previous steaks. In fact I was disappointed with mine. The salads in the sides were fine the wine was good. It just was a little off last night.

Ambiance and service was amazing! The wedge salad and tater tots were so flavorful. I ordered the steak and frites and the steak was a chewy which was unfortunate.
Our first experience was on New Years Eve with a limited menu. We had hoped to experience the full menu, but understand a limited menu is normal for holidays. The team was polite and helpful - one even helped us finalize our NYE evening plans! We expected the restaurant to be packed, given that reservations were VERY limited. But the restaurant was half full and easily could have accommodated more reservations and walk-ins. Overall, we can't wait to come back and have the crab cakes and pig head carnitas!!
Amber was a perfect server! Meal was incredible from beginning to end. Nothing was rushed. Just perfect timing all night. Highly recommend!
We met up with a Facebook friend for the first time. The food was tasty the service was exceptional as my friend was running late due to holiday traffic .

Slow service while the restaurant was maybe 20% full. Kraft Single Cheese on the Cheeseburger. Really?? That's the best cheese an upscale brunch restaurant can come up with? Over cooked eggs on the biscuits and gravy. We will not be back.
Very slow service
The food was good, however overpriced considering the small portions. Our waitress was attentive to every table except ours. Our food came before our drinks, which we had to ask about, learning the drink order was never put in in the first place. Will not be going back.
Maitre D did not welcome us, speak to us or ask our preferences. She simply walked over to us at the entrance, picked up some menus and had us follow her to a table.
Place was almost empty with perhaps 4 other tables so she certainly was t busy.

Food was amazing. We had a lot of fun sharing the pighead carnitas. Our server seemed to be a little spread thin and wasn't always around when needed but did a decent job.

Great location. Our server was the best. But the food was slow coming out of the kitchen. The food also was too bland for our tastes.
Had an amazing night! The drinks were all on point and tasted great. The main entrees were exquisite in taste the crust on the steaks were awesome.side dishes of the mac and cheese and mixed vegetables really hit home. I feel the best thing that I enjoyed was the cheese board! Must try!!
