May or may not go back. Nothing special. Just ok not bad not wonderful just ok. Ward’s wife left this review.
Food was terrific and loved the vibe. We’ll be back!
She was amazing
Food was amazing!
Ordered coffee, never came so finally asked about it, received a latte instead for some reason, ordered a pitcher of mimosas (after the waiter confirmed they serve those), he brought us only each one glass and never mentioned the pitcher. Was overall inattentive, inexperienced, and a very poor waiter. I'm sure he is one of the many newbies due to the industry's inability to bring back its experienced workers thanks to free government money.
Spent over $200 on dinner. They’re under new management and have a new chef. The service was good but the food quality was poor. Ordered the 32oz steak for two and had trouble cutting the meat with the dull knives.
Service, food, ambiance, and experience were all amazing. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be returning.
We were for breakfast and the offer was very good. The veggie frittata and the 2 farm eggs menu was really good.
Everything as expected. Very nice place in Dallas Downtown
Awesome service! Flavors off the chart!
It was a pleasant evening but not wowed. Filet mignon was delicious meat but I didn't love the chimichurri sauce. I wanted greens so ordered the sauteed rapini. They were tough and hard to eat, as it was long strands of chewy greens. They need to revisit that dish or replace it with a different green.
Chocolate peanut butter bar was tasty for dessert. Cocktails were okay, but I wanted to see more gin cocktail options.
Had to ask for service twice
This was our second time at CBD Provisions. We were there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The food was great. We had the same server as we did the first time we went a few months ago, Jonathan, who was great. This weekend he was training a new server, Mike, who was equally kind and helpful.
CBD is perfectly situated for people who want to enjoy the experience of being downtown. Since it's in the Joule, they offer free valet for the first hour and a half you're there - after that it's just $5. So we valeted, popped into The Taschen Library, ate dinner (we ordered the spinach artichoke dip to start and then filet and the tenderloin - so good!), took a stroll after dinner and then came back to check out the Midnight Rambler downstairs. When we were done, we picked up our car from the valet. If you're going to spend time downtown, this is the place! The Joule takes all of the stress and headache out of coming downtown!
Best burger in town! The salad also súper fresh and very well presented, we had a great time and ate delish!
Excellent bar staff very friendly and efficient. We were probably sat and served, food is great we took some recommendations and they were happy to adjust our drinks order etc.
The food was good, but the menu was very limited. I would not recommend.
Waited at the bar before getting seated, Tyler the bartender was incredible. Ben our server was as delightful. Food was delicious, great ambiance.
Excellent service! Beautiful restaurant. The tuna nachos were great and so was the 32 ounce ribeye. Shared among the three of us, it was just right.
We had our 21 year anniversary at CBD. Great food, service and ambiance. Our waiter even brought out a surprise glass of champagne for us to celebrate!
Delicious brunch and our server was fantastic!
Waiter was absent minded and inattentive. Ord
Absolutely nothing special with the exception of David Carlos who was very accommodating. The black bean soup was inedible as it arrived very runny and had a rancid taste. Had one bite and that was it. We now had to wait 45 minutes for a hamburger and the roasted chicken which was not very roasted as the skin was soft. The peas on the chicken dish were cold. The hamburger was your best dish and was very good. Not sure CBD is worth a return engagement.
Excellent food and great service.
If you have a friend in town for 24 hours CBD is most definitely one of the stops. the food and drinks are always on point. Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants.
Great food and service
It was our first time in, the food was great! However, the service was not the best. Our server was not attentive at all.
The brunch food was fabulous and our waiter had the best personality! It wasn’t very crowded when we went so it was quiet and quick.
Perfect place to grab a bite if you’re staying at the Joule especially.
Great food, great service. Waiter’s recommendations were spot on! Greatly enjoyed food and drinks!
Absolutely lovely! A wonderful place with great ambiance and good. Surprised there wasn’t free bread or something though.
It was a great meal. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Black Bean soup ingredients!
Our server Ali was fantastic and David made us feel at home! The food was delicious. Every single dish we had was tasty and flavorful. I still can’t get over their hummus and mussels. The mussels aren’t on the menu, only an evening special. I really think they should make it a forever item! Cocktails were delicious highly recommend The Good Word which had mezcal and green chartreuse. Thank you everyone at CBD for making it such a memorable night for us.
I came here on a Sunday morning after checking out of my hotel as it was one of the only brunch places in the area that was not booked solid. I have no idea why this place has decent reviews. We walked in and were greeted by no one. We decided to sit at a table off the bar section but it smelled so bad in that area (like a zoo) that we moved to the actual bar. The server/bartender was nice enough but when we ordered drinks he only brought mine and not my boyfriends. It took so long to get my coffee my boyfriend decided not to bother following up with his drink. The server didn’t really have knowledge of the menu because he told me my omelet didn’t come with toast or any kind of side, and that it was small so I should order a side. I ordered fries. The fries never came out, and my omelet came with two pieces of toast. The actual omelet was not as described on the menu. It was only cheese, eggs, and meat and quite flavorless. My boyfriend ordered a pork sandwich that I can only describe as disgusting. Pork must be kept at a certain temperature to avoid food borne illness. This pork was cold or lukewarm at best and the sandwich very soggy. He only took one bite of it and ended up feeling sick for half of the day. The price for what you get here is absurd and we’ll never return.
The tenderloin was very tasty as was the salmon. Fries came out under cooked but that was quickly fixed. Cozy, attractive interior. Was a bit hard to find since it is inside a building without an entrance to the street. Define oh worth trying.
Great Food and Service. Great place for a night out with friends.
Great food. Awesome service. Very, very accommodating with my food allergies. I'm 100% thankful for that. Had a good time.
I hate writing negative reviews, but this place is absolutely beautiful but the food was pretty awful. We had artichoke dip that was so-so, I had the filet medium that came out burnt on the outside, she had pasta, I took a bite and it wasn’t good. With drinks, over $100 for two of us, I told my date that I was sorry and that I would never propose a hotel restaurant again.
Its very good. Dont be missed understood, CBD stands for Central Business District, food is not prepared with hemp.
Beef tenderloin and mushrooms in brown garlic butter. Great bottle of cabernet sauvignon. Excellent for a date night.
