We enjoyed lunch on the patio. The service was good, the food was good and the ambiance was quiet and welcoming. My beet salad was especially tasty. Our lunch guest had a problem in that something she was wearing attracted a swarm of gnats that stayed with her through most of our meal. Do you have a way to discourage small insects from being in the patio area?
Amazing!!! We had a fabulous dinner with absolutely outstanding service. Can’t wait to go back
Great service, wonderful food.. you won’t find better.
The service was excellent, the setting is very nice, the food was OK but very expensive for what it was. Even an award winning burger can’t be worth $21. And it wasn’t.
Limited menu, little pricy (as expected) and a great place to spend an early evening.
Nathan was our waiter he was great. Our drinks we great I had a Sangria. Chopped salad was delicious. Out 19 hole burger was over cooked and had no truffle oil at all. That was returned although we still got charged for it. Got a free dessert mint chil milkshake. That was also great
Acknowledging our arrival at the table this time was unusually slow. We go here quite often for the fish and chips, while. Dry tasty and of high quality, the portions were skimpy.
Our waiter Joe was very eager to please.
This was our first visit to Cayton's and it was extraordinary! We were celebrating my birthday and the staff made it extra special with their outstanding service. I can highly recommend the 19th Hole Burger; the Wiygu beef was so delicious & flavorful. My husband had the Bison burger and he was equally pleased with his.
We ended the meal with the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie with Vanilla ice cream and of course a candle-so decadent!
We dined outside with beautiful views of cacti, the greens & the Catalinas in the background. With a nearly full moon, and a spectacular sunset, it was truly a magical evening. Thank you!
Sat on the patio. Watched football. Service and food were spectacular. Sunset was one of a kind.
The $10 Shake has been downsized from a large glass plus the Stainless-Steel shake mixing can to a tiny mason jar handled mug.
Very disappointed with the downsized $10 Shake.
Good food, good atmosphere.
Terrific place for a casual meal and drinks. Love the outdoor seating!
We love the view!!! It is a spectacular place to view the desert and golf course! The restaurant is beautiful as well! The staff is very attentive and gracious! The food is good but could be better at a more favorable price. The Happy Hour menu is minimal and would serve the restaurant better if there was more to offer!
The most elegant "burger and shake place" we've ever been to! Beautiful restaurant, subtly elegant atmosphere, delicious food and excellent, friendly service! We made reservations and were greeted by name as we walked in the door.
We had six people, they sat us in a private room, which was nice so we could talk. Next time need to go in the cooler weather and sit on the patio.
Food quality just keeps getting worse. And they charge more than they used to, back when the food was better.
WE love this restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service is always excellent. The views and the facility cannot be beaten.
Great burgers, shakes and The Birdie chicken sandwich were all delicious! Service was amazing, all in a pretty setting.
Fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had!
Food was great! Edgar the manager and Leon the server were awesome!
Burgers and milkshakes are top notch. We be back again. Go in evening and sit on patio. Sunset and views are incredible
Very good as always. Love the burgers. Get a table outside at sunset.
Was a very nice setting ways off the highway in a very nice area. Beautiful view. Service was ok food was good very inviting space.
Might be the best burger I have ever had
I was s to looking forward to a hamburger with the smoked chili. You took it off the menu. I ordered what I thoght was a hamburger without a bun. The meal was served with a bun. Then I relized that it was chopped pieces of beef with chopped chilis ...that I had to pay extra for? Really? How unclassy. How disappointing.
Not me. Long time before I will come back.
Our evening was magical ... a beautiful sunset with javelina visitors and to top it all off a beautiful rainbow.
Slow service Warm beer good food
Leisurely picturesque drive up to the understated but elegant property. Cayton's being adjacent but still carries the same ambience. Selections for lunch were limited but what was ordered was excellent. I'm assuming dinner is a bit more adventuresome.
Went for the Friday Fish Fry. Portions were skimpy. Service was awesomely attentive.
Went for drinks only as had a late lunch so couldn’t rate food. Ambiance is always lovely although was hot ( over 100oF) . Was not crowded- service excellent!!
Slow service. When I arrived, servers standing around and it took at least 5 minutes to get some water. Service needs to be sharper, esp at resort prices.
Wonderful food at a beautiful location. The food is a bit pricey but we loved everything we ordered. The service had a few hiccups (waiter let drink we ordered sit for over 10 minutes on bar before we asked another server to bring it to the table). The chocolate shake was amazing! We will be back again!
We had a great meal on the patio - a very good evening.
This was my second time there and the food has really gone downhill. Drinks took a long time to come out and it is very overpriced for quality. Great atmosphere but doesn't outweigh food and price.
Dinner was wonderful. The Green Chili Fries were excellent. We had hamburger and a skirt steak, both were superb. There was also live music that was relaxing and fun. The server, Lauren, was tremendous. She was personable, informative and made dinner very enjoyable.
Cayton’s was our favorite restaurant during our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain Resort. The food was uncomplicated yet delicious. The simple wedge salad was very fresh, tasty and generously portioned, one of our favorite things there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, tater tots a fun accompaniment. The brisket sandwich was a little fatty, but overall not bad. The $10 milkshakes are worth every penny ;-) Great place for an indulgent meal with a lovely view and laid back atmosphere. Service was very good as well. Oh, and the fries topped with green chile stew delighted our picky New Mexican green chile palates!
Cayton’s Is always good. We go for the sunsets, the food, and the setting. Go during happy hour and the price is reasonable.
Beautiful setting for a sunset dinner! Views out to the golf course and mountains can't be beat. Lauren took great care of us!
It was apparent the wait staff was new. For the caliber of restaurant and pricing I expect a more polished server. No water was placed or even offered. Glasses were empty and couldn’t even get our server’s attention for refills. I had to ask twice for a blanket for outside dining. Our server never took care of it. The veggie burger was very pricey for a meal that just fell apart. I’ve had many veggie burgers and while it had a good flavor it didn’t hold together as a patty at all.
I love the ambiance Cayton’s offer but if this is what I can expect when I bring friends and clients there it may be time to look for some place else.
Lovely staff! Enjoyed the whole experience: food, presentation, ambience, etc.
