One of the best restaurants in the United States which culinary standards which are second to none. You get a level of attentive and dedicated service with no parallel. You must try the sea urchin, the lobster and the halibut. You will be glad you came here. If you have any special occasion or celebration this is definitely the place to go. It impressed us from beginning to end.

Stumbled on this place on a foodie weekend with my wife. What an amazingly pleasant surprise it was. It’s a small place and we were seated in a corner booth overlooking Madison Ave. Very cool spot. The service was very attentive and thoughtful. There was a very loud group in the room with us and the manager asked us multiple times if would like to move to a private room. The food was amazing. Lovely presentations, excellent quality and the flavors were outstanding. My wife and both did three course tasting. Highlights were the perfectly poached lobster, the wonderful foie terrine and the duck was out of this world.

This place is was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. We will definitely go back next time we are in NYC

The experience was amazing from the time we arrived through the time we left. The staff was amazing! We were celebrating a Valentine's weekend trip in NYC and they made it a great Valentine's dinner. The decor was beautiful, the seating was comfortable, and the large picture windows gave us a view of Madison Ave; the snow was a bonus. The caviar and the chef's choice 5 course tasting menu was delicious! We would definitely return to try a la carte items.

Went to Caviar Russe for an anniversary dinner and it was fantastic! The servers were so friendly and helpful in dissecting the menu. The food had amazing flavor. Would highly recommend the three course meal in order to have a little taste of everything and of course, the selections of caviar were superb. Overall a great experience

We had the tasting lunch. The portion is decent and the taste is great. The only thing is that it is a little salty for me, but it is still a great restaurant.

I love this place. My girlfriend and I do a girls day in the city. We start at the red door spa for masaages and then we go to caviar russe for champagne and caviar with the works. The place is small, but perfect. The waiters are attentive and the Siberia sturgeon caviar is our favorite along with a bottle of veuve clicquoe. What better way to relax before the holidays! . We do this annually.

Food and service were spectacular - truly worthy of its Michelin star

The service here and adequate is top class. The ambience is lovely. This is a great romantic spot for a special celebration. I requested in notes a private corner spot , they went beyond to accommodate my 30th birthday celebration. I will return in the future.

I dine here at least 3 times a month. The past 2 times, they seem to always be out of sea urchin! I only go there for the sea urchin dish! Anyhow, food is usually pretty good.

The chef here is top quality. The prices leave something to be desired. I like caviar and know it well, but even the efforts to save the Volga and Caspian sturgeon - now legal to harvest - cannot justify these prices. On the other hand, they have everything, so if you are a caviar lover, this is the place to go. Do NOT expect Russian food here, however. The cuisine is inventive and very well done, but not Eastern European.

The restaurant is lovely, the service terrific and the food very delicious. It is extremely expensive and I left feeling hungry. The portions are minuscule, except for my husband's smoked salmon. The choices are very limited. There were only two desserts.

As always Caviar Russe is fabulous. Had chestnut purée with fois gras and truffle. Also had amazing halibut. Their only thing to work on is their desserts. But the fresh hot madeleines they give at the end are the best ever and I go to Paris every six weeks!

Amazing dishes, can’t go wrong with great caviar and great service.

This remains the best restaurant for caviar and caviar enhanced foods. The ambiance is cozy and quiet. The service is impeccable. The menu allows one to select from several options, and there is the beautiful selection of caviar. This is well worth the expense, but caviar of this quality is worth every cent.

Best caviar in the United Stars. Atmosphere is simple elegance. Wait staff is very attentive yet not overbearing. Food preparation is performed for all to see. My Michelin star chef friend from Paris was very impressed!

It was not what I expected. I thought I would have a light lunch.sitting at a champagne bar maybe a little caviar and some champagne. We were seated at a lovely table over looking Madison Avenue. We ordered the 3 course tasting menu along with a caviar appetizer. Everything was excellent. The service was impeccable. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations We will return.

While the food and service were what you'd expect from a Michelin restaurant, I've experienced better food and service from non-Michelin restaurants and had expected more for the price range.

Amazing restaurant, fantastic food, service and drinks

This is an extravagant meal. Service decor and food exemplary. Our server suggested several different options and we went with a caviar tasting to start plus the 3 course meal. It was really too much food for us so I wouldn't order the 3 course dinner next time. Maybe just 1 course and dessert. There are a lot of extras anyway . Amuse bouche etc.
It was outstanding. A dinner to remember.

Caviar is certainly not a pedestrian food. Caviar Russe was amazingly comfortable and unpretentious but still elegant and magnificent. The waitstaff were awesome. Thank you!

Outstanding tasting menu (5 course tasting menu with excellent Sauternes) - Michelin Star well justified. On par with Gastronomy restaurants (Gault & Millau / Michelin rated) in France. Nice small room with privacy. Excellent / discreet service.

We were so disappointed with this restaurant. This is the most disappointing Michelin star restaurant ever. The food was wonderful and waiters were very nice, but a guy in a suit, maybe a manager.. he was unkind and terrible. My friend asked him what he would recommend and he replied that everything was good and just chose. What? Then at almost the end of the meal, he took the plate she finished while I was still enjoying my entree. He moved the the side of table, was taking other dishes away. 'Oh no.. what is he doing???' So I took my last bit in front of him to see what would happen. My guess was right! He took the plate right away. Still his great service was continuing. He just left the check on the table before we asked while we are enjoying the tea and dessert... Was he forcing us to leave sooner??? We believe that we were unwelcome guests for him. We had a valuable experience there. Of course, we will never go back again!! Every day is a learning day!
