Hands down the best restaurant for a group I’ve ever been in! Had the nicest room! Menus was great value and the best food ive had in a while! Everyone in my group loved the food, had the best night, staff were amazing! I honestly can’t fault this restaurant I will 100% be booking again!!

I have been here many times, usually for family events and have always found this restaurant to be excellent and this time was just as good. Great welcome on arrival and seated at a nice table upstairs. Food and wine were excellent and our party of 4 had a great time. We will be back for sure!!

We booked a table for my dads birthday for a party of 7. My dad and family enjoyed the food and the service was great . Staff are lovely and helpful. Great variety on main courses for the set menu .

We met for a girls day out and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant with their delicious Christmas lunch menu. Everything from the starters to the desert were beautifully presented and were lip smacking!

We had a lovely dinner in Caverna last night. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was amazing. We got the napoleon burata and polo Sicilian and both were delicious. I will definitely be back again

Lovely food and good service. The historic brick walls and curved ceiling, along with good music, and lighting, created a very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely return soon.

Such a lovely meal, they had a full vegan menu and early bird too! Best brownie ive ever had, you would never know it was vegan. Amazing staff our waitress was so lovely and played the best music. We will defo be back!

We had a lovely hour at La Caverna on a quiet Wednesday evening. We initially had a male waiter who was incredibly friendly and helpful to get our main courses and drinks sorted. The house selected merlot was a gorgeous recommendation. We were treated to delicious vegan risotto and vegan primavera. The waitress behind the vegan menu development wasn’t incredibly nice to chat with towards the end of our dinner. We highly recommend any fellow vegans to visit and try this menu out. We, ourselves, intend to revisit and try out their vegan desserts soon. Overall, excellent food and service! 🎉

We had lovely food at la caverna however we all wanted to sit in the basement and this wasn’t given as an option to us! We wanted to sit in the basement as it’s got nice arched ceilings and looks very cozy!!

Nice food, good price, staff incredible, friendly, receptive. Who sees the restaurant from outside cannot imagine how beautiful and comfortable it is inside. It was an unique experience.

Food was very poor. I ordered the tortellini which was definitely not cooked fresh and in fact tasted like it was cooked from frozen. The sauce also tasted like it came from a jar. My boyfriend ordered the carbonara which was essentially cream and pasta with very little taste. Will not be returning

Always have a wonderful experience whenever my girlfriend and I visit.

The staff are always friendly and greet us warmly when we come in for food.

The service last Saturday was excellent and the food was prepared in a timely manner. We were not waiting long for it and as always it was delicious.

It was so nice to get back in for food felt like a life time ago we were last in for food.

The only thing to note and it was no fault of the staff nor was it something that damped the evening was that we had to move from our table as the staff needed to access the circuit breakers which were situated behind us due to the power going out.

We were promptly asked if we would like to be moved to another table and we were moved with ease.

Caverna is always somewhere I would recommend to friends and it is my go to restaurant in Dublin, no matter how many times I eat there I never tire of the place.

Thank you to the staff for another wonderful experience, welcome back as well.

Looking forward to booking in again soon :)

The food wasn’t outstanding, that being said service was excellent and the downstairs area is perfect for a large group. A huge thanks!

Service was ok. One employee (from Poland) was very full of energy. The food was delicious. The Bolognese with fresh spaghetti, spicy marinara with fresh spaghetti and the calzone were enjoyed by our group. All very tasty!

Service was amazing, food was good, plenty of options to choose from. If you are looking for a quiet place with good food in the Temple Bar area this is a nice option.
