What a great place! I have been here several times and each time was thoroughly enjoyable. Everything from the service to the food to the atmosphere and location was really good. I can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work!
Valentine’s Day
One of the most charming places to dine on the Sunset Strip.
Just fabulous brunch. A beautiful, bucolic spot that makes for a lovely restaurant. Service was impeccable and the food delicious. A really great dining experience. Highly recommend!
Food was okay.. but I’d definitely comeback for its exceptional customer service and relaxing ambiance. Will recommend Cavatina to friends and family.
Great place to have friends gathering or to have birthday party!
Excellent food, beautiful setting.
Every time I go to Cavatina I love it even more! The food is delicious, the setting peaceful and serene,
the service perfect! I had a delicious tuna salad, which was perfect. I love any excuse to go to
Cavatina!!!
I come here quite a bit but unfortunately the food wasn’t great this time :( happy new year !
Extremely disappointed with the food and service. What’s left? Ambiance? Who cares, I can find many other restaurants for that.
Went for the pre fix on Xmas day and service was included in the bill. Awful tasteless soup and worse over cooked bland scallops. Drinks were watered down and the service was equally dull - he basically just threw our drinks and food at us. Don’t waste your time here.
5* from start to finish , excellent food, service and ambiance
Love the Sunset Marquis. Cavatina is a wonderful restaurant with great food and service. Afterwards, go to the bar or visit the gallery. The staff is very polite and friendly. It's my favorite spot to be!!
Great dinner
Exquisite hidden gem
There were seven of us and we all left very happy!
Beautiful place! Amazing food
Wonderful place, food delicious, service a little off.
The food and service is outstanding, we was sitting inside, but outside view was amazing
Fantastic. Location. Ambience. Food. Service. Highly recommend
We got to the restaurant and it took more than 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order.
A good place for a large group - with no thumping music it's easy to talk. Laid back rock'n'roll vibe
I took my girlfriend there for her birthday and it was a beautiful day ... The food was delicious the service was great and atmosphere was beautiful
The restaurant was exceedingly busy for an early Friday evening and the number of servers was just not up to the crowd's size. We waited a long time to order, a long time to be served our dinner and a long time to get our check. Everything that evening was very good, except for the service.
Great atmosphere and environment would be ideal for special occasions and birthday dinners. Felt private and staff made experience feel unique. Good vegetarian options. However, food was pricey and portion sizes were small. Overall I enjoyed my experience and the taste of my food (heirloom tomato salad) and would return.
Excellent service! Great food. We had an awesome birthday dinner here for my husband. Staff was very attentive. Great sharing apps. And a delicious menu ranging from fish and chicken to steak and even a cauliflower steak. I think we had everything on the menu! Highly recommend!
Steve Lazar and his staff are amazing! His attention to detail was clearly something that creates an atmosphere that will trascend you to a place that will find you forgetting that you were in the middle of Los Angeles.
Delicious as always...some beautiful memories here...a staff that it in rivaled. We ❤️You!
It was our fourth anniversary and my boyfriend and I decided to celebrate it there. We often go for cocktails and small bites, but this was our first full meal. Excellent service, delicious, romantic ambience and the staff really made us feel special for the occasion: complimentary prosecco, dessert and well wishes from everyone helping us. So glad it is in the neighborhood. A real hidden gem.
Our waiter brought over a birthday dessert than put a charge on the bill for $65.00!
When asked what that item was, he said I'll take it off. Then automatically charged us 20% gratuity for a party of 5. Again it was removed after questioning since no mention was made of automatic service charge for parties of 5.
We basically poured our wine since the waiter was never around.
The food was good, service was awful!!
Love this space. It's so peaceful. Food is fabulous. Very nice staff.
My Branzino was very plain. Caeser salad and drink was good. Pureed potatoes were okay. The best part was the ambiance and the service. The bill was about $50 higher then I expected based on the underwhelming experience of the food. I recommend that you order appetizers. There were minors there in flip flops without their parents at 9p on a Sat night which was a little bizarre. It felt like a cross between a really nice place and a coffee shop at a hotel.
This is inside the hotel so valet park and the restaurant can take care of the parking for you.
The food is really good and we even got Kushii oysters to try.
The Mary's Organic Chicken was good but the Ora King Salmon was much better.
I couldn't decide which was better so you better order both desserts if you see it on the menu.
Cherry Frangipane Tart and Warm Valrhona Chocolate Oasis are not sweet but worth the calories.
Such a cute spot! Quiet & Romantic. Perfect for a date. Food was amazing. We ordered an appetizer, each an entree and each a dessert and there was not one thing we didnt absolutely love!
We were married at Sunset Marquis in 2014 and we love dining at Cavatina - never disappoints!
Great spot. We were a table of 7 people including two 7 year-old children. Very kid-friendly and very kind waiters. We will be back!
Went to Cavatina for our 15th anniversary. A lovely oasis in the midst of West Hollywood. We were greeted by great pictures of some of our favourite rock bands walking through the hotel. We then crossed the bridge over the Koi pond backed with beautiful flora. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and sat on the patio facing the green wall. Our server, Angel was spectacular. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, recommending wonderful meal and drink choices that both my wife and I enjoyed immensely.
We have been looking forward to having brunch here for a long time. The food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was friendly but really unattentive. We waited for about 15 minutes once seated and finally had to flag someone down to take our drink order. Had to flag down someone to help us with refills four times throughout, and our server forgot requests. Overall it was okay but I wouldn't recommend, nor will we return. There are much better brunch places with fantastic service.
Beautiful evening
Love this place! The staff is just as excellent as the food!
Amazing atmosphere and wonderful service!!
The hotel is great but I was really disappointed with the food quality. The chicken was bland, no seasoning at all. I’ve had better tasting cheeseburgers at In-and-out. The vegetables actually tasted bad. They had a sour burnt taste to them. Desert was good but not great. I expected more for the price.
