Cava Ratings and Reviews
I have been to Cava several times over the years. I have always enjoyed their modern creative approach to Spanish food. I found the serving staff knowleadge and informative about food and wine that they are serving. This time it was a birthday dinner for my companion who is also a vegetarian. There were good vegetarians options to choose from and they were equally delicious. When I made the reservation, I left a note to request a special desert for the birthday celebration, the desert was delicious and elegantly presented. Thank you, Cava for another lovely and enjoyable dinner. Look forward to returning soon.
We were very disappointed with our experience. The menu was quite pricey for the quantity of food. Worst yet, the paella had a hair in it. All we were offered was to wait a hour for another one or a full priced bill, no reductions. Regardless of the incident we will not return or recommend based on the overpriced lacklustre food.
Unbelievable Spanish food mid town.
The location and setting does not do this place any justice.
The food here is perfectly prepared with excellent tastes and pairings. The sweet from the salty mixed plates show a well balanced dish and complex pallet.
I enjoyed a selection of dishes and my favourite of the night was a simple appetizer with a Spanish Blue Cheese and fig on bread. The flavours were so complex we had to order another.
A great experience and meal worth noting. Unfortunately the space and location is not very trendy or conveniently located.
I look forward coming back for another round of amazing flavours.
By far our favorite restaurant in a city full of incredible restaurants! The servers are incredibly knowledgeable, the food is divine and the wine list is fantastic. We had so many bests here, best fish dish I've ever had, best pork dish, best carrots... on and on it goes. Highly recommend this to literally anyone, you won't regret it!
I took my parents for my Mom's birthday and all-in it was a great dining experience. Mom likes to eat early so I made a reservation for 6:30 and it was completely quiet then, but around 7-7:30 the place filled up entirely. We did the "let us cook for you" option where your waiter and the kitchen decide what to feed you off their menu (you can make requests too) and I think it was a great way to experience the food at Cava for the first time. It was a fantastic cross section of their menu, and we were served the perfect amount of food for the three of us. All in with two glasses of wine and one dessert it cost about $300 so not bad for a special occasion. Highly recommend Cava (and get the octopus, you won't be sorry!)
Amazing experience! Great food, wine and SERVICE!!!
It was very busy, however we did not feel neglected what so ever. We were greeted well, when we requested for a table of our preference, when it became available, it was extended to us.
We were looked after by everyone on the floor, including the chef dropped by and topped up our wine. General Manager of the restaurant serviced our table and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
Food was delicious and presentation was great! Some items we never tried before, however it was worth the try.
Will definitely go back again.
Came for a birthday celebration. There were 5 of us and tapas were the perfect way to sample several dishes. The food was amazing. Some of our favorites were: LAMB CRUDO WITH BOQUERONES, ARTICHOKE, AND ALIOLI, EGGPLANT WITH QUESO FRESCO, BONITO, & TOMATILLO SAUCE, ROASTED SABLEFISH WITH BLACK RICE AND COLLARD GREENS
I went to Cava with a group of 6 for a birthday party. We had to add another person at the last minute to the reservation, and the restaurant was very accommodating. Overall, the food was delicious, we sampled about 10 dishes and had a lot of fun. It was a bit loud (we went around 8:30 on a Saturday) so we had to do a bit of talking loud in order to hear each other, but that is almost everywhere on a Saturday evening/night.
The staff were very attentive and we asked them to surprise with a few dishes, which they did. This is a great place for a fancy date night, anniversary, or other special occasion. The food is a bit on the pricey side (we spent just under $600 for 7 people, including tax and tip), but worth since you wouldn't go all the time.
I loved this restaurant and visited it many times. The last three visits, however, have seen a steady decline in my enjoyment of the food. I thought the services was fantastic, as always, but I felt that the food was outright bland. I really want to love this place, but I fear that the chef's attention is distracted.
