Cattle Company Steakhouse - Pearl City Ratings and Reviews
This time was by far our best experience. It was my wife’s 40th birthday. I made reservations for 5:30pm, which was not necessary as it was not busy yet. We were immediately seated. It took a while for the server to first drop off water but he more than made up for the delay by being very attentive and taking care of our drinks impeccably. The food was perfect, as it always is, and the overall experience was much above average.
Always enjoyed dining at Cattle Co. Good deals with their coupons. The birthday cookie was nice with the service help singing for our friend. Our waitress could have been more attentive by refilling hot tea, ice tea and a bit slow with bread, had finished my clam chowder when she brought the bread. Otherwise it's fine and will be back to dine again at Cattle Co.
We made dinner reservations to celebrate our 33yrs of marriage. We arrived about 20mins. prior to our 7:00 reservation time and was able to be seated at 7:00. Service was excellent and our medals were cooked to our request. It was a very special and enjoyable experience. We’ll be back again for sure.
We set at Table 1 and this table and location is the best! As a result, everything else fell into place, and we enjoyed the evening very much. The food was great, service was great, the atmosphere was great, our appointment schedule was met, what else is there? We had a great time!
Service was decent. Poor server got a little overwhelmed and confused with what we actually ordered. Ordered the zucchini appetizer. It's gotten more expensive and smaller over time. The dip is still excellent. They nickel and dime you about their sides. The rest of the meal was ok.
I've been here twice over the past year and both times waited a long time before being served. Yesterday waited 17 minutes and finally went up front to ask if someone could give us water and take our order. It was 1130am and restaurant not busy. No shortage of staff that we could see. Not bothering to return when many other comparable restaurants available. food was good but not worth the frustration.
Lehua is an Outstanding waitress. She served us while back last year just once, then she remembered us the second time that she served us. We’ve been going there well over ten years, and normally once a month or every other month. No waiter or waitress has ever remembered us. Since last year, she has become the only waitress that we request for. Even though the food was always good, but being remembered makes it very special.
Food and table service was great.
However was disappointed that it took longer than 20 minutes beyond our confirmed reservation time, before we were seated. (Note: Also arrived 15 min prior and checked in) They were taking walk ins prior to our confirmed reservations, even though it was past our reservations time.
It defeats the purpose of making a reservation, if the reservation time cannot be met.
We had some issues in the beginning with our server. There were some confusing with the orders and seemed like the server was having s bad day. After we spoke with the manager the atmosphere changed dramatically. Our bill was credited and the servers attitude changed. I still left the server a good tip, just to show I understand people have bad days. We have been to the restaurant multiple times and have always had a great experience. Just this one instance we had some issues.
Very slow service. Dinner took almost 3 hours (over 2.5 hours) from waiting for our reserved seating to paying for the check, which had a mistake. Nice server but very slow service. Need to hire more wait help or not overbook reservations. Tons of people waiting too with some empty booths. Not good people waiting long time with seats open. Not enough wait help. Management needs to improve. Our family always likes Cattle Company but may need to seek a different restaurant for our special occassions.
We had high expectations going in, based on coworkers recommending this place. Unfortunately it was a bit disappointing for us on this night . Our server was really good. Our steaks in our opinion were sub par. As ribeyes go they are either really good or eeeh. This, our first time there was eeeh. For the money spent, I expected a tender, tasty steak. But, it just wasn’t. It was cooked correctly ( Med. Rare) but just tough and unflavorful. Disappointed I paid our check and we left. Again, our waiter was great. Our steaks, not so much tonight.
Had to return a prime rib order because the lard was cold and medium rare color looking not quite right having been sitting out for awhile. Had to return order yet again because the kitchen simply microwaved the meat and tried to serve it again, but this time well done instead of medium rare as ordered. However, once corrected, the prime rib was outstanding. We got a free dessert for the trouble but everything needs to be done right the first time to get five stars. In either case, everyone was pleasant and this is still our favorite prime rib spot.
Our server Jenn was very busy with a large party next to me & my two friends. Two of our salads came but we had to remind Jenn of the 3rd salad. We waited 45 minutes to be served our entree (which we had to inquire about) & which came not even 5 minutes after our complaint but the food was cold by the time we got them. So they were probably sitting in the kitchen ready way before we got them. The plate was warmer than the food. This was one of the worst experiences we've had at Cattle Company in the many years my friends and I have been eating there.
Our experience was very disappointing. We felt like the term "cattle" was correct. We were put in the "holding pen" an extra 30 minutes after our reservation even though open tables were in view. Our server rushed us through the meal. We received our appetizer, salads and entrees all within 5 minutes of each other. We received and were asked to pay our bill before dessert was even delivered. Food was mediocre and no plates were cleared until we finally requested it. Before dining we had made a huge reservation for Thanksgiving business dinner. It has been cancelled. LOTS of great restaurants in town...we recommend avoiding this one!
What happened to cattle company?
The service was bad. She never checked on us. No water refills etc...
The food sure went downhill. Salty and greasy. Horrible Birthday dinner that was. We are never coming back. Top it off I had my dessert to go and she had the nerve to give it to me upside down. Had I known that when I was there I would have spoken straight to the manager on duty that night.
We went to dinner at the Pearl City location to celebrate my daughters birthday because she received a coupon for a free steak meal. I was disappointed when the waiter told us that my husband and I couldn't order the $63 Campfire Feast for Two dinner because of the birthday meal. We both order the prime rib instead. The meat was on the tough side and did not compare to the prime rib we had when we dined there couple months ago. Consistency in the food quality is what will bring me back to a restaurant especially when celebrating an occasion. I still plan to give it another try and will decide if its worth coming back.
