It was Valentines and very busy. I had a 7:45 pm reservation for 4 which ended up being 5. Our son was able to join us, and the staff were very accommodating. The wait was about 10 minutes, standing room only. We were seated promptly, and our waiter brought us our water and bread. No silverware. So we waited. They were very busy. When he came back we asked for silverware and another bread because 1 between 5. We got those, he took our drink order. They were very busy. Our drinks came after 3 trips. We placed our order. Long story short, 4 out of 5 orders were to our liking. They were all cooked as ordered. The only person who's order mattered, was my wife. Her 1/2 lb Prime rib was cooked right, but she said it was half fat and gristle, and I looked over and it was. I asked her if she wanted me to say anything, but because it took a while to get to this point, we had a 9 year old that needed to get home to bed, she said no. I was very disappointed, because this dinner was for her. She ate what she could and we ended up sharing my 3/4 lb Prime rib.

Still had to wait 10 minuets pass the reservation time. Food had a hair in it. Had to ask for water and the bread.

The steak wasn't cooked as ordered and grisly, the prawns were overcooked and tough, and my wife's salad wasn't prepared as ordered. Very disappointing dinner.

We come often and the food was very, very slow. We ordered our drinks after we sat down and told our server what our appetizers were. He came back and took our order and asked us if he should Bring our salads before or after or appetizers and we said after. We waited 25 minutes and still no appetizers. After 30 minutes he brought us our salads and said our appetizers should be up shortly. They came about 10 minutes later. Our food came about another 20 minutes after that. Not usually typical for cattle Company.

The food was great but our waitress was forgetful. I requested cheesecake and to sing happy birthday when I made reservations and double checked when we arrived and was told it would happen. The waitress had the request in front of her but asked what we wanted for dessert. I said we don't want dessert. Then she comes back with our check and walks off. I went to find her then asked the front desk if he knew if they would still sing happy birthday and bring the cheesecake. He says yes but again the waitress does not do or say anything. It would have been fine if they could not do it but being told 3 times that it is possible and will happen was what annoyed me. Definitely, not coming back for any celebrations. Other than that the food was great.

The experience and food were great except for one small thing. The Shrimp in the Jumbo shrimp cocktail were anything but Jumbo and not really worth the money I spent on them. They tasted fine, but I was Very disappointed in the portion size.

Cattle Company is very close to my office so we frequently go there for lunch. Until yesterday I had almost give up on the place. I order the exactly same thing every time. Lately the chicken breast had been very small and way overdone. Yesterday all was good.

I know it's a sales thing, but it gets old having the wait staff ask you if you want something other than water to drink and before you can even answer they are listing several options. Needless to say the cost of the drink I was considering ordering was $8.50 (non-alcoholic) I passed.

Lastly, the place needs an update and a good cleaning. I've lived in Alaska all my life and remember when they first opened, very little (except the dance floor) has been updated since that date.

The place is good for a business lunch or group of friends, the large booths keep it pretty quiet.

Recommend the Deep Fried Zucchini! It's consistently amazing.

The food was good and the service was decent . The food portions were kind of on the small side. The only thing that was somewhat bothersome was that $16 of our $120 bill was onions added to the steak. I just feel that if asked if you wanted onions that it should have been told it was extra. We are talking onions! The bread served with dinner was terrific though. I always wanted to try the food here and while the service and food was decent, it would not be my first choice making plans in the future.

We had a reservation for 6:45 on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy. However, they were obviously very understaffed for that time of day as our poor waitress had tables all over the restaurant and that being the case, service was very slow. She did a great job, but she just couldn't provide the attention that we like to have when we are dining. We aren't needy, but when it takes almost 10 minutes to have someone come to the table and get your beverages, you are understaffed. My salad was very good and good sized. My husband's prime rib was a large serving but could have used more flavor and not the easy-to-cut meat you would expect from prime rib.

Overall the meal was great and we can't say enough about the chef who cooked our medium well New York Steak and our well done Prime Rib cut. As usual for the Cattle Company, the meat was outstanding, cooked well and the service was excellent. Thanks You and you will see us again.

We have been there with special events coupons. However it’s a good place to dine for us.
But dishes are little bit differently from the pictures on AD.
I believe the foods eat by eyes first and smelling. Finally tasting.
Displays are most important part of dishes as on AD.
Anyhow, it’s a wonderful place!

Thanksgiving is a hard day for restaurants. My turkey dinner was not hot enough. I had to ask for extra gravy but the food was luke warm. The waitress was tired and seemed a bit frazzeled but she was very nice.

I would not recommend Cattle Company Steakhouse and do not plan on returning. I went with friends on thanksgiving and our server John was less then helpful and the food was average.
