We went to Dewey's for the all you can eat crab legs on Sunday. When we arrived the place was super busy which would be expected as there are almost no restaurants serving all you can eat snow crab legs anymore. The staff was nice and in knowing how busy they we made sure to get coleslaw and a plate of delicious Hush puppies to our table without having to ask which was a nice touch. Our waitress Loyce was a little doll and did a great job of taking care of our table even though they were slammed. The crab legs as well as the other dishes ordered were great. Would definitely return.

When we travel, we like to eat at local places with good reviews. Catfish Dewey’s was our choice yesterday evening. They are known for great food and have been around for years. We were greeted and sat immediately, we did have a reservation, but I believe we would’ve been seated anyway. They start you out with a generous supply of great hush puppies and slaw. I really liked their style of slaw I ordered the ribs and my husband ordered the all you can eat catfish, though many other choices seemed tempting. The ribs were fall off the bone, bbq flavored and delicious! My husband raved about how good the catfish filets were and he got another order just in time to continuously eat them. The fries were great, as was the baked potato, and Mac and cheese. With the exception of the slaw, of course, All of the food arrived hot, not warm or cold. We did not leave disappointed or hungry Coke products were even cheaper than some other places. Our waitress was Caroline and hopefully you will get her as well. She regularly made swoops past all of her tables to ensure that your needs were met. We really enjoyed our meal.

The whole fried catfish was over cooked and not like it had been many many times before. The fried shrimp was delicious and the meal saver. Service was very good . But I’ll be back again to eat there, hope it will be better.

All in all I was pleasantly surprised about eating here. By no means is it fine dining but the quality of the food for the price they charge in the amount you get is well worth it. My only negative if I had to give one was that, although the server was very friendly, they are very forgetful and you have to flag them down many times to get attention outside of that. It’s definitely a return spot for a casual, seafood rib or steak dinner and they’re all you can eat prices on certain nights of the week are very much worth it. .

We went in for the all you can eat snow crab legs. Our waitress was Nikki, she was friendly, fast and and fantastic at getting refills and keeping our table clean. The food was deliciously fresh and fantastic. We will definitely be going back!

The meal was spectacular. AYCE crab legs, how could it not be? Staff was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating. The atmosphere was laid back. A fun time and we will be back!!!!

Great little Mom and Pop place. The low country boil is an amazing value at $22.99. There was so much shrimp in it. On top of that our server, Stephanie, greeted us with a smile and complimentary coleslaw and hush puppies. The hostess and staff were very friendly. Some great classic rock playing over the speakers, but not to loud so you could hold a conversation. Paying in cash helps you avoid that pesky credit card fee. Also, the 10 wings were amazing and crispy. Their sauces appear to me homemade as well. We will back back!!

Great special on the crab legs especially on a Saturday night. Wish they were a little bigger definitely had to work for my dinner. Husband got a shrimp special looked very good also. Drove all the way down from palm beach I would say it was worth it. Stephanie was a great server.

This place endures as a great value time capsule from 40 years ago. The seafood is good, the Cole slaw very good, the service friendly but slow, and the crowd is the friendly, socially mixed, rainbow of black, white, old, young, straight, gay, brown, and blended that makes a mockery of Republican strategy and shows us just how out of touch they are.

Cool locals location, found on TripAdvisor. One of the few places in the area serving snow crab so that's a big plus for me . Service was great. Thanks Stephanie! Unfortunately the 2lbs of snow crab was waterlogged and soggy. Shells wouldn't crack well and the meat was difficult to get out. Hush puppies were delicious and cole slaw was as well. Mashed potatoes with gravy was pretty good. My wife only had a sweet potato and she said it was mushy and overcooked.

We were visiting from out of town, and out of all of the places we ate in fort lauderdale this was the friendliness, inviting, and yummy restaurant we visited. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We will absolutely be back when we are back in town.

Been going for over 30 years, and while not an upscale event, we try to get our all- you-can-eat shrimp night at least 2 or 3 times a year. Always a good time. Server Joy was great.

Their food is good, don’t get me wrong. However, I made reservations more than 6 weeks out. I have a toddler so I requested a table in the back corner. I message them at 9:13 am in which they respond, the day of my reservation. I reminded them why I needed the back table, I have an antsy toddler who needs to be seated there or he’ll want to run and visit other tables. They assured me there was no issue. I arrive 5 min before my reservation but they had given away my table and the people had just started. The hostess seemed to laugh it off. It wasn’t funny. I did the work, I had valid reasons and was clear that my plans may have to even change if they couldn’t accommodate. We also waited 12 min before even a drink order upon arriving. I realize we went on Mother’s Day- but this isn’t an acceptable service.
