We are a full-service family owned and operated restaurant established in 1984. We are dedicated to offering the finest seafood available for the best value. Our specialty is farm raised catfish, but our menu is quite diverse. We have a variety of all-you-can-eat specials like shrimp, stone crab, ribs as well as generous traditional portion meals.
Went for my birthday the gumbo was great; shrimp cocktail also very good, my husband got the fried platter i got the crab legs. not worth the money very hard getting the meat out takes about 5 pounds to get full. get something else.
Great value and good food
Savanah was our hostess and we received a wonderful service from her eventhough it was her first day at work.
Seafood boil was marvelous. Highly recomended.
Good is delicious, good portions. I see why they’re so busy. Great prices
Great place for seafood
Good Hush Puppies and Catfish. Poor ribs and fair service.
Crab legs were hard to open and not much inside, corn was mushy and Mac and cheese sub par. Grilled Chicken was not very good. Baked sweet potatoe ok. I was here before coronavirus and everything good. From now on crab legs at Hott Leggz only.
Our neighbors rant and rave about CFD and finally went last night. The place is what it is “a local dive”really needing an makeover. Putting this aside my son , husband and I were very pleased with the service and food. From the hot hush puppies and Cole slaw on the table, delicious smoked fish dip, and of course The Catfish! Blackened and delicious and very large portions. My son had a cheese grits side, I a large sweet potato. Fried clams we good a bit over cooked, blackened scallops cooked perfectly. Other reviewers mentioned tasteless food I beg to differ. We took two large leftover containers and we’re eating CFD tonight. Will we go back YES. My suggestion would be to seriously consider to do a restaurant makeover it’s needed. The place is old, sad, uninviting, dark…if this is done more patrons would go and hang out longer meaning more revenue to the restaurant.
The wait was short and the food was good. I would come back again.
I love a place that brings hush puppies when you are looking over the menu. Plus, the fried shrimp is as good as you can find. But the real surprise is the orange juice cake. I never had it before, but I can assure you I will have it again. The decor has not been changed since 1984, but that's part of the charm. I recommend Catfish Dewey's.
The atmosphere here is neighborhood bar/restaurant casual dining. Coleslaw and hush puppies that come as part of the meal were good. Most diners appeared to get the fried catfish. We chose instead to get our catfish blackened. It was just the right amount of spice and perfectly prepared - my favorite part of the meal.
Excellent waitress made use feel very comfortable like we were at home. Very generous portions, “all you can eat” Alaska Snow Crabs. Recommend
So much food!!! And so yummy😋 We'll do it again soon. Next time with more friends!
I highly recommend eating here it was delicious and fair pricing..
Our go to place for a reasonably priced good quality dinner. Nothing fancy, but consistently satisfying. Try the conch fritter, the best!
As in the name Catfish Dewys the catfish is outstanding. While there try the fried shrimp. Lange and succulent.
A bit Over Priced $$$ be prepared to fork out your hard earned money.
This is our vacation restaurant of choice every year. Amazing food and service. Crab legs like no other!
I always enjoy dining at Catfish Dewey's. It had been awhile since I had been there but the food was still fresh and tasty as always.
Great dining experience for our group of friends. An American speciality with appropriate ambiance, a ramshackle style fish house. Our table of 4 had catfish three ways: fried (the only way to eat catfish if you ask me), grilled, and blackened, and all three options received rave reviews! Try the orange juice cake for a different dessert option.
The restaurant is a bit of a dive, but was quite busy, and the wait staff were friendly. We were seated right away. The fried catfish and shrimp were okay as well as the coleslaw and sweet potato fries. I do not recommend the corn. It was soggy and had no taste at all. The side salad was also okay, and the mahi-mahi was as well. Although the food was edible, We probably won’t go back again.
The food and service a Catfish Deweys is excellent!!
Fantastic service, amazing food, and a great spot to visit. Can't wait to go back!
Food was mediocre at best. Disappointing.
I had AYCE eat crab legs and they were HORRIBLE! Teeny tiny crab legs AFTER going UP to $69.99. The crab legs were so small and tasted as if they soaked in saltwater. I was TOTALLY disappointed and I came from West Palm Beach! Don't know if I'll be coming back any time soon.

Excellent place, love their scallops, actually haven't tried anything I didn't like!
We were highly disappointed in the service. It was my first time at the establishment. My friends have been there many times and they were surprised by the terrible service. Our server spoke to us only once and it was to take our order. She never returned to check on us or refill our drinks. In fact, we repeatedly tried to her her to come to the table to assist us, but she ignored us. It was the worst restaurant experience. The fried catfish is good but I refuse to pay for bad service. I rather eat at another establishment.
Excellent food, we have been there 3 times and everything we have tried, all different, have been exceptional!!!!
Delicious food as always.
This was our father's day dinner and it couldn't be worse. We had been here a few years back and it was delicious! Things have really changed! Menu is extremely limited...many of our favorites have been removed. The food was expensive and tasteless. The waitress was the only good thing there.
I enjoyed my Father's Day.
We always loved Catfish Deweys. Great food at a great price
Absolutely delicious food and very attentive staff. We ordered the fried catfish and fried shrimp. It was great and even warmed up well the next day for lunch. Complementary coleslaw and hush puppies were amazing as well. Would definitely eat there again. Wish we had a great seafood restaurant like this near our house. I’d eat there multiple times a month. SO GOOD!!!
Great local place with all you can eat specials daily and all you can eat catfish every day! Good food at good prices - very fresh!
The food was really good. Had blackened scallops, the all you can eat shrimp and the ribeye. Everyone was very happy with the meals. The service was ok. Waited awhile at the beginning but they may have been understaffed as most places seem to be these days. The server was very nice and she did bring my granddaughter a piece of cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. Over all we had a really good experience and will definitely be back! Thank you!
Great service & food
Great food great service great price wonderful people
Some the best fried catfish I ever had!
My wife had the seafood boil that was very good but was lacking seasoning and they need to use a better quality butter, this is why I can't give 5 stars. Everyone was very nice. This is a restaurant where the locals eat and not some fancy dancy restaurant but nice.
First timers and Pleasantly Pleased
Delicious food, excellent service, clean friendly atmosphere.
Will definitely be back and bringing more family!
We had a great waitress and assistant in training... took care of us very good!
Food was also yummy! :-)
