Catch Twenty Three - Tampa
Always delicious with great service.
Excellent food! Very good service. Always worth the trip.
The service was amazing the server took great care of us however our food was not so good. The calamari was rubbery I ordered the Chicken with the macadamia crusted the chicken had a weird taste like it was old. I didn't eat my chicken. I could have sent it back but I was with friends and didn't want to cause any issues. The desserts were amazing cheese cake and the carrot cake. Again the server was great we would think twice on our choice the next time but may give it another chance.
The restaurant is located on a quaint street and we chose to eat outside, we were celebrating birthdays. The server was very attentive and funny. The food was great however, I ordered a kale and Brussel sprout salad and about 30 min later (just before all of the food came out) the server came and told me the restaurant did not have any kale or Brussel sprouts. They accommodated me with another option and did not charge for it. Good customer service. Overall a nice place for both a casual meal or for a celebration.
Awesome brunch! Great place for a Sunday morning meal
Me & husband went for a Saturday night dinner at catch twenty three.. we have been planning to go to this place since long .. heard a lot of good reviews about the food so wanted to try out. We ordered sriracha shrimps in appetisers & had Maine lobster tails and local black grouper for main course.. sriracha shrimp & lobster tails were super delicious.. grouper was ok but the seasoning was a little bland. Overall the food was good and cocktails were also nice .. we had sangria & Mojito.. the service was also quick & nice. I really recommend this place for someone wanna try seafood.
Everything was delicious as usual! Thought wine was a little expensive compared to same wines at other restaurants.
Great place for food, wine and friends. Best to get a table outside...inside was very loud.
Good local restaurant with great ambiance
great local place - introduced to new friends in neighborhood. Always great food
We love their Sunset Specials! Great value and great food! Catch 23 is Tampa's best!
Great food and service! A unique little community! We ate outside and enjoyed the local atmosphere.
On a wednesday we had a party of five with reservations. Everyone had fish or scallops and all was prepared perfectly and tasted great. The server was very good and the meals came out in good time. We had been there multiple times before and everyone we brought were very pleased and said they would return.
Great place for Sunset Dining. Excellent food and service and outside tables accommodate dogs
Food is excellent! We went with a party of 3 and were greeted and served nicely. The food is delicious. Drinks amazing! We were very happy with our experience there. The only negative point is the decor. It is really dated and would defiitely need to be upgraded. We loved it overall!
White wine was warm, should have been chilled,
Waitress was inexperienced Brought coffee that was cold.
Had items on bill we did not order
The fish is excellent and the selection is amazing. Juan our waiter was very helpful and the Bloody Mary bar for Sunday brunch was a nice surprise.
First time visit. We were pleasantly surprised. The service and food was great. The fish was cooked to perfection whether it be our appetizers or entree. If you’re watching your salt intake you need to tell them ahead (which we forgot to do) otherwise it is one of the best fish restaurants we have tried in Tampa.
I ordered the salmon from the early bird special along with vegetable medley and coconut rice, was very delicious. The value was excellent! I was very pleased! Will come back again soon!
I was there for a first data with someone. I'm glad I chose this restaurant , it was a perfect fit for a first date!
Catch 23 is one of my go-to favorites. The food is consistently great and they use quality ingredients in the mixed drinks, better than other restaurants in my opinion. Service is always great. On this visit, I knocked over my glass of water and our server was on it immediately and so nice. The outdoor seating area is my favorite place, but too hot during the summer unfortunately. Keep up the good work, Catch!
I would recommend it, but with hesitation and caution; I am hoping we just went on a bad night. The guacamole was worse than bland. We jazzed it up ourselves with salt, lemon juice (garlic and cilantro would have been nice too.. it looked and tasted like one bland smashed avocado). The sangria was so sugary we could not drink it, the coffee was not even warm - room temperature at best (warm after it was returned), and the meals, while tasty, were also barely warm. For the money spent (2 appetizers, four dinners, sangria, wine, and a dessert) we all left disappointed and wondering what happened to this formerly delicious top-notch restaurant. (Also, why are there no vegetarian options? It's either a mushroom flatbread or order a combination of sides which are primarily starches. Very disappointing)
Great food , great service and great atmosphere
We love burger night!! Great service and delicious food. Burger ordered medium was once again well done with not a bit of pink but I still enjoyed it. Salad and onion soup were also great.
My husband and I used to love going to Catch 23 for drinks & food. After an 8-year hiatus, we chose to go back with some friends. The ambiance in the dining room was not befitting the memories we had of our times at the restaurant. Cheap looking curtains really diminished the dining room. The food was okay but not as good as we remembered. We will likely not return.
Gets very noisy. Used to have tablecloths on the tables which may have helped a bit to absorb noise levels. Difficult to carry on a conversation across the table. Food and Service were great.
Too noisy for inside dining and for enjoyable evening
Food was good but service was a bit slow. Considering it was Father's Day you should be prepared for a crowd and make sure the food is prepared in a good amount of time. They forgot to give us bread until I mentioned it later to my boyfriend and I guess she overheard me, next thing I know we have bread at the table but it was way after our appetizers.
Such a great recommendation!! Definitely going again!! The food was amazing😋😋 and our waiter was great!! Highly recommending Catch Twenty Three to anyone that ask about it.
The food at Catch Twenty Three was delicious, had the Mahi Mahi blackened, Tuna - not so good, but the Grouper and Sea Bass were wonderful. Carpet was dirty & the waitress, although friendly, did not bring us bread and butter, until after I asked twice - also, beverages were slow in coming.
My second time dining at Catch 23, the food and customer service is extraordinary. I really enjoyed myself on both occasions and the drinks are phenomenonal. Again, thank you for the great food and service.
Noise level is much too high. I know you want it to be energetic, but it's so noisy, you can't have conversation. Everything else was great. I'll sit outside next time if possible.
This is my 2nd time visiting Catch 23, the food & service was awesome!
We went for happy hour which we did not enjoy at all. There was one wine on happy hour and two beer types. No liquor. However the appetizers we had were very good and the dinner menu looked very interesting and eclectic
The food was not seasoned, the font have alot pt the items advertised online. Service was ok.
Delicious and healthy food great customer service and friendly staff they know what they are doing Thank you
Awesome as usual
Service is always excellent and the food is always a winner.
Unfortunately the food quality has been declining. We were told by the server “new chefs and new manager all the time”. No longer a top choice to go and have dinner.
Food, service and atmosphere were good. The wine list was mediocre and many were marked up more than 3x their retail cost
