Phenomenal restaurant. Our waitress, Jess was incredible. Our favorite spot in Red Bank.
We started with the chowder-watery vegetable soup with six microscopic clams thrown in. Waited endlessly for our main course. My swordfish was ok, but would have been better if they brought a full portion-not worth the price. We won’t be back.
Best food in all of red Bank, so many different selections, always fresh, great atmosphere and excellent drink options. Highly recommend
This is a beautiful restaurant with a regular menu that looks very good. Unfortunately the Mothers Day menu was very limited and they were out of items that looked good. The meals that we had were hit or miss; the angry shrimp and lobster had a very good sauce, the scallops & orzo were a bit bland, the stuffed french toast was a bit soggy and underdone, there were no desserts worth eating, etc. Service was generally slow but reasonable. Pricing was higher than expected, even for a holiday. On the plus side, Ice-T was there for dinner.
We dined at Catch 19 on Mother's Day this year. As expected, there was a special menu for the holiday. Everyone was pleased with the food and service. My only complaint was with the choice of menu selections. We dined at 5PM and since they used the same menu all day, the first 4-5 entrees were 'brunch' style items, french toast, steak and eggs, etc. There was a nice selection of seafood entrees to choose from, but limited meat entrees. Only two, Surf and Turf and Rack of Lamb, both $65. I would have preferred another selection that was more in line on price with the other entree selections. But aside from that, it was a nice experience. The food was delicious and the server was very attentive. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Would recommend and would go back
I took my parents to dinner for Mother’s Day.
What a great experience.
The food was of the highest quality.
I will definitely go back when visiting the area again.
food was fresh and served promptly. excellent server
Dinner entrees were brought out while we were still eating our appetizers. Service wasn’t great.
Excellent staff is plus friendly and good service
Service was a bit spotty at first but the food came out rather quickly. The food was very good but some food choices (scallops, etc) do not merit the prices they go for. Not the best bang for your buck in town but by far one of the better places to get good seafood.
Great service and food was on point
I heard so many good things about Catch19, and it was all true, food was outstanding, service was great and the place itself, just right. Definitely going back and bringing friends along. Great experience.
Great food and service A+
I love Catch, I have been a fan for a long time. I just think now that it is no longer BYOB, the prices should be reduced. $9 for some balsamic soaked Brussels sprouts is a bit ridiculous. Especially when we live an area where it is not hard to get great seafood. It gets harder to convince my fiance to return every time...
Went for a pre Mother’s Day dinner. Catch 19 was very busy but service, food and cocktails were excellent.
One of the best spots in Red Bank. You can’t go
Wrong here book your reservation and you’ll be back again
Mother’s Day dinner with family. Food and service were great. Been here before, always delivers.
The food and service were very good but overpriced. I especially found the $7 charge for valet parking inappropriate considering the high prices at the restaurant
Food cold, great flavor. Underwhelming waiter, had to get service by at least 3 other employees. Never offered or took off anything from bill for the food sent back cold.
Love this place usually.
Great meal once again. Been here a dozen or so times and will continue to come back.
We had a lovely early dinner I ordered the shrimp and lobster appetizer and the tuna poke app. The shrimp was delicious but a little too spicy for me and way too much sauce the poke was good but not enough tuna. My husband had the tuna carpaccio and the branzino with Brussels sprouts all was good but oversauced and overcooked Brussels sprouts. The service was excellent and ambiance lovely . We will return even though we thought it was a little overpriced.
Food and drinks were very good. Staff was friendly.
Food was ok. A little heavy on the olive oil
My first impression was positive when we walked in. We were seated on the second floor and it looked like an old warehouse. There were two televisions in the dining area, it's suppose to come across as upscale. Our server came over and told us he would be right with us, no problem. We were told the same thing four times. Each time he walked towards us, he bypassed us. I ordered a diet coke that did not come and our server asked did I got my drink. When I said no, he quickly brought one. Unfortunately, the soda was flat, he quickly brought another and it too was flat. I gave up on asking a third time. My wife ordered the angry shrimp and lobster, she said it was really good. I'm figuring we are in for a treat, I was wrong. We ordered the porterhouse steak for two, sweet potato and creamy spinach. The steak was burned on the outside. The sweet potato was brought to the table, it was half of a sweet potato and no offer of butter or any other topping was made. The creamy spinach was bland, the sauce was watery and the portion was very small. We didn't bother with dessert, we really wanted to leave. We were hoping for a nice Easter dinner and we were extremely disappointed.
The angry Lobster and shrimp alone is worth the trip.
From cocktails to desert everything was just right.
The food the timing the service perfection.
Our waiter Travis was one of the best I ever had.
Will definitely be going back.
Had Easter lunch at Catch 19. The food was delish, there was beautiful piano music in the background and the staff was wonderful!!!
Wonderful food; the whole black bass w Italian prep was especially delicious. $25 corkage very reasonable. We had a lovely dinner! We will definitely return more often.
High prices for mediocre food and service. Server had attitude and never smiled. We had to keep asking for things. Four people and give 3 small pieces of bread etc. Staff should be more attentive with customers as if they truly appreciate their business.
Went to see the singer/pianist and was pleasantly impressed with the food, service, atmosphere, and special attention we received. Elegant yet casual and comfortable, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. I rarely rate 5 stars but this restaurant really deserves it on all aspects.
Food was amazing...service exceptional
Food was excellent as was the service. We definitely plan on going back.
Our evening started at the bar with (bartender) Brain and his fabulous personality. It was such a pleasant experience with laughter and fabulous drinks we were almost upset to be seated.
At our table out waitress AJ was awesome!! Being a party of six we all had menu questions and specific orders and she accommodated us with a great attitude and smile. Oh, and never were our cocktail glasses empty!! The food was delicious, drinks amazing and service AWESOME!!!
Can’t wait to return!!
We sat at the bar. Bartender was personable and attentive. Our food and cocktails were excellent
The food was very good, I noticed my Chilean sea bass portion was on the small side while everyone else’s portions of what they ordered pretty big.
Very nice restaurant. Good ambience, food, drink and service.
Would recommend and go back again.
We felt as though we were intruding on the owner’s friends and family party! Food was just OK, not worth the price. All in all, we couldn’t wait to finish our entrees and leave. We sat in the bar area.
We always enjoy Catch but something was off this time- drinks were slow to get to us. Food was delicious but sides were suppose to be on separate plates. Our waiter made up for it but I had to point it out to him. Still love the place.
We did not have good service. Waited almost 45 min for appetizer. It was very loud and hard to hear. The ambience was beautiful. Food was good. If going to ear and party- it's a good place.
Food was very good except
For the polenta it
Had no taste ! The sea bass was delicious but a very small portion- the service could have been better
We got there late &it seemed all they wanted was to get out of there!
