Celebrated our parents 50th anniversary there. Restaurant gave us four glasses of champagne that was barely half the glass but gesture was nice. Surf and turf with porterhouse was amazing. Clam linguine was salty. Cioppino was delicious. Calamari was delicious. Dessert did not come with sparklers as previously planned via phone.
Out waiter big Willy ( the name on the check) he was great informative and attentive .. food was decent nothing wowed us calamari was fresh and tender but batter super salty . The pasta with lobster was good but again too much salt. Grilled swordfish and Brussels were also well cooked but salty . Warm chocolate cake for dessert was dry and boring . Perhaps will go back sometime but won’t be soon
Our party of 3 all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We made reservations for a Wednesday night, which was lively, but not overly crowded - looked like mostly a business professional crowd. We had the calamari appetizer, which was perfectly light and crispy. I had the sea scallops with lemon caper sauce for my entree, with a side of asparagus. The food was incredible, but the scallop portion was quite small. 4 scallops for a pretty steep price, and sides were extra. Very attentive servers, delicious wine, pretty decor. Would recommend - maybe just choose an entree with a larger portion if you're going to be spending the money.
Catch 19 was outstanding. Can't say enough about the food and service
My husband had the Frenched pork chop that was cooked to perfection and was extremely flavorful. I had the king crab carbonara and it was perfect
Our server AJ was so helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable she definitely made our dining experience memorable. Her suggestions were on point, angry shrimp and lobster appetizer a must have. Already planning our next meal for when we return.
First time visit. Inside is clean and decor is excellent. Corey, our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Food was awesome and tasty.
Food, service and atmosphere were all terrific- highly recommended
Food was delicious
The live entertainment sounded like drunk adam sandler from the wedding singer or a horrible karaoke competition. Not what i expect for red bank on Friday nigbt. Food and drinks were great but music horrible!!
The food was ok, but the service was less than good and our server seemed to be very inexperienced. We must have asked him at least 3X where our drinks were and he never brought something else that was ordered and we ended up cancelling the item. The place is very nice and has a piamo player on a Friday night, Nice touch
The food was incredible. The angry shrimp + lobster is a must plus the lobster and avocado salad. Great place for business meals, friends and family. Will absolutely be back to this place on my next trip here.
Catch 19 is a real gem of a place. The food, service, & ambviance was all 5 star. Jessica, our server, was attentive, informative and personable. The whole experience was awesome. We had drinks at the bar prior to sitting for dinner and though I did not get her name, the young lady was a pleasure....
Ambiance was great! Loved the decor. Comfy seating. Really expected a great experience. Server was friendly enough, but slow overall. Ordered a 2.5lb lobster, and while it looked tremendous there was barely any meat in it. VERY disappointing experience overall. We will not be back.
Great food and great music
Great, server! Grace was beyond accomodating, easy and efficient!
Reception not very professional, couldn’t find our (Open Table) reservation. The atmosphere is like a sports bar: TVs all around and rather breezy (each time someone entered the restaurant). Appetizers and entrees and service were good. Overall not up to standard for a nice, expensive dinner.
Wonderful experience and great food!
The pork chop was probably the best I have ever had!!!
The lobster and shrimp sinister is phenomenal, raw bar is as fresh as it comes!
The food was fantastic, top notch and not overpriced. The service was great.
Could not even eat my dinner. The linguine with clams was floating in melted butter. The a la carte dinners are way overpriced with the sides being just as expensive and not good at all. Huge disappointment. Will not return.
Celebrated our anniversary at Catch. The food was delicious. I had the pan seared day boat scallops which were just fabulous. My husband had the 10oz steak and loved it. The service excellent; the servers were friendly and attentive. It was a little noisy because it was during the holidays but it was worth it. We will definitely go back for special occasions.
Our service was excellent and everyone enjoyed their dinners.
Such a shame that the poor service experience took away from the dining experience. The food was good. We were the only ones in the place and I think the wait staff were socializing in the kitchen. They had to be summoned every time we needed them
As always the food, service and ambience were top notch! Definitely and highly recommend it.
Very good experience angry shrimp and lobster was amazing !
Another great visit....thank you!! Everything was perfect...minus the seat at the door which was ok.
This was our 1st visit to Catch 19 since it moved a few doors down from the original location. What a lovely new place. The food was always good and still is, but the ambiance in the new place is excellent. A nice mix of casual and upscale. Great menu with lots of options.
Excellent food and excellent service. We had a very nice dining experience.
Great atmosphere, great service, great food. I highly recommend this spot.
Great, start to finish, our dinner was great. Our server, Travis, was was there when you wanted him , always visible if needed. This Was our 3rd time there and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend It.
First visit, celebrating a birthday, although they asked if it was a special occasion there was no mention of a happy birthday. Ate at the bar expecting great service, not so much, the bartender was more interested in flirting with the drunk bar hoppers and she was happy to consistently fill my husband's wine glass but not mine. Food was good, but if I'm going to drop $200 on a nice "Monday night" dinner I expect more upscale atmosphere and better service.
We always have such a great time dining at Catch. The food is always delicious, the service is phenomenal and they really made celebrating my birthday extra nice!
Excellent food and service we were in for my wife’s Birthday Ask for Gerard he’s awesome
We will definitely return
Dined here to celebrate a family member's birthday. Service and food were excellent and our server made sure the occasion felt truly special from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the menu. There are also a lot of options for people with dietary restrictions (i.e., gluten intolerance) so everyone at the table had a great experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet has a relaxed, comfortable vibe.
We had a great meal with great service. Athena, our waitress, was spot on: friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and took great care of us. Mike the manager was welcoming and elevated the experience even further. Great food, great drinks, and great service; a winning combination.
Great bartender introduces himself & makes very good specialty cocktails. Great bourbon selection. Fabric on some bar seats need to be addressed. Dinner in back dining room (for 4) was fun & boisterous. Our waiter, however, was barely adequate- seemed outmatched by having too many tables. Good thing we were all relaxed & not overly concerned with the details that were missing. Food was presented nicely with ok portions. Buccatini was way over salted. The 3lb split & baked lobster was great, but served without the little fork that you need. Save room for dessert! Will be back with lowered expectations for service however.
Food was delicious and the service was good. It has a very nice setting.
We really enjoyed our dinner we had the lamb chops and the grilled swordfish both were delicious as well as the crab cake app and the molten cake for dessert all was excellent will be back soon service was also very good as well as the atmosphere!
The restaurant was indeed chic and the staff was warm and friendly. The price however for drinks was steep, the oysters were pricy and the lobster entree was overcooked and less than generous. The music was far too loud, but then we came after the dinner hour so that may have been the reason.
Always a great dining experience...
