   Excellent food and service. Sit outside to avoid the noise in the dining room. Though the dining room is better for seeing and being seen (if that's your thing).

   It’s was a great meal but they seated us 47 minutes past our reservation time. Really not what I believe to be a regular situation for them. Last time I came they had us waiting like 15 minutes. This was a bit extreme. We ended up missing our next engagement because dinner ran long with the wait.

   I was greeted by the guard before heading to the elevator. The elevator smelled like seafood masked over with some sort of spray. I had to walk to the bar to ask for assistance with finding the party I was meeting. The bartender told me to circle around because the outdoor area isn’t big. The pancakes and sausage was great! The lobster Mac and cheese could be better. We had a 2:45pm reservation but felt rushed by the waitress and busboys setting up for dinner. We won’t be back.

   It was a special occasion for our dinner and we were really looking forward to it. The front desk was very chaotic and it was tough to get to the front to even check in. Despite a reservation, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get seated. Thankfully we were able to quickly grab a space at the bar, which is standing only, to get a drink. The bartenders were great and the drinks we had were good. Once we received the text that our table was ready, it was again tough to get to the front check in desk to tell them we had a text since it’s a free-for-all. The people at the front need more support and organizational help. They were working as quickly as they possibly could. Once we were finally seated, the server was very friendly but also very busy so we had empty drinks on the table more than we had full drinks. We waited for 1.5 hours for our food. The server was nice and also working as quickly as she could. Our appetizer and entrees were very good but our sides left much to be desired. We skipped dessert based on the experience. This was our second time there so we knew a bit about what to expect but the food made the difference in wanting to book again. Not sure that will be the case next time. This place is a fun place for a group if you don’t have anywhere to be after. The ambiance and music are also really fun.

   Upon arriving the host area was a huge CF. There was a long line of people queued to the left meanwhile people coming off the elevator walking straight at the desk with no order or directions being given by any workers about where to go. Long line to wait in just to check in with one worker at the desk. Super rude about the outdoor seating being an hour+ wait. Made the reservation weeks ago asking for outdoor seating. Was not able to wait for outdoor so got seated indoor. This was the worst. Got seated at a small table for two with the bench side seat being directly on a crack in the bench. Had two large tables of 6-8 people on each side of us with about 6” between our table and each table next to us. Felt like we were seated at a banquet table with a dozen strangers on each side of us. It was so loud as though we were part of their dining experience. Could not even hear my husband across from me. At this point we got up and walked out. Was not going to drop $200-300 on a sub par dining experience while sitting on an uneven crack the whole time.

    The server staff was very lacking. The drinks took 30 min for the first round and 20+ min for the next round which we had to remind our server we had even ordered. And when we asked to order more drinks and the server just walked away from us as we asked without taking our order. The management however was incredibly helpful!! We were a table of five adults and two babies. When asked if we could put our stroller in a coat closet they immediately helped to find a spot and let us use the employee restroom since the public restrooms didn’t have a place we could use to change our babies. You go knowing it’s sceney but it seemed that the servers tried to hard to make us feel that we weren’t necessary.

    We had an incredible evening. The team from the front desk staff to out wait staff were amazing- friendly, warm, polite and knowledgeable. Of course the food was the headline- outstanding!

    Terrible experience. Even after having a reservation we were sat 45 minutes late. Extremely poor time management for the front of house staff. After checking several times with the hostesses as to when our table would be ready they gave me useless answers like “the table is finishing their dessert” or “there’s nothing we can do”. As if that’s any of my concern. Absolutely useless. After being sat, service was slow, half the food didn’t come out and the service staff seemed mindless. Overall, would not recommend.

    Look, I love the vibe at Catch and for a trendy restaurant, the food is consistently good. But I'm not ok with making a reservation, showing up on time and then having to wait AN HOUR to get seated. And nothing comp'd (like even a dessert) to make up for it. Also our server forgot one of our dishes, which shouldn't happen considering he even repeated our order back to us to make sure he had everything correct. Those things shouldn't happen at a $300 dinner.

    Food really was amazing. Definitely a heavier seafood selection, but we ordered a big variety and every single thing was delicious and also very creative. Service was also great. Definitely a bit loud, but totally worth it.

    Grilled Octopus is divine. Best I have had in a while! There dozen donut hole dessert is so fun! All the tables were getting it! Honestly more like cake balls than actual donut holes but very fun to dip. They give you chocolate sauce, Carmel sauce, raspberry sauce and cream cheese icing. My favorite was mixing the raspberry + cream cheese. We sat on the rooftop which was worth it in spite of the heat. Pretty at night and much quieter than inside. I would come here again!

    Food was amazing. The sushi rolls?!?! Orgasmic. The ceviche? Orgasmic. The lobster mac and cheese? Orgasmic. The only thing I wasn’t raving about were the drinks. The cocktails were very boozy and lacked depth of flavor compared to the food… Anywho. 10/10 would go back.

    By far the worst upscale dining service I’ve ever experienced in NYC. I’ve been to this restaurant before and it was bad but not as bad as this time. The hostess at the front was extremely rude. Our servers at the table changed over multiple times and couldn’t care less about taking our orders or giving us any good input on the menu. The bartender made my drink incorrectly 3 times!!! I want management of this restaurant to read this part: THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE IVE BEEN IN NYC WHERE I LITERALLY WATCHED A COOK TAKE A BITE OF MY MEAL BEFORE IT CAME TO THE TABLE. I HOPE HE ENJOYED THE TRUFFLE FRIES BECAUSE WE DIDNT - DISGUSTING!!

    Amazing experience! Very trendy and amazing food. Rolls are very nice and so is the lobster 🦞 Mac and Cheese. Having the truffle appetiser is also a must.

    I dine here often and one thing that I can say is that, it’s just like how I remember it every time. Always consistent. Food is seasoned, cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Drinks were well balanced. The service is always on point. Thank you for always providing a great dining experience. We will be back soon.

    Worst dining expirence from the moment we arrived. I’ve been to before but it’s been about a year since my last visit. Just trying to check in was ridiculous. You couldn’t even exit the elevator bc the check in area was FLOODED with people, it was out of control. Then after we finally checked in we were told to wait at the bar- which has no seating- & was also flooded with people. After a 20 min wait & waiting for the elevator which would not go up to the roof top we had to walk up the stairs- ladies if you plan on wearing heels, wear comfortable ones. After being seated in what the hostess made seem like was such a luxurious rooftop but was actually dark and subpar, we placed our dinner order. The waitor seemed very dry and bland with our group but we paid it no mind. Literally the only highlight of the night was the Catch roll & the Peanut butter cookie bc the entree (branzino) was mediocre & so was the lobster Mac. Then it went downhill for real, another waitress came and grabbed the bill (who never waited on our table) & somehow managed to lose one of my friends card. How do you lose a card you just charged is beyond me, but according to my friend & her sister when the manager came to get involved there was quite a bit of attitude exchange & then I witnessed it myself when he came to the table to check the area in which our entire party already checked for the card. After all the drama her card was found in another check book in which the manager just simply offered a round of shots. It was the most pitiful reconciliation for what we just went through & including the inappropriate response he gave to my friend when she said that the card needs to be found. Let’s be realistic, if a server who was never assigned to your table comes over never introduces themselves grabs a check with all the debit/cc you would be highly upset to find out your card is missing & I’m pretty sure had my friend been a different type of client he wouldn’t have responded the way he did.

    We always enjoy the vibe at Catch and our out of town guests loved it. Food was spectacular as was the service. Noise level was too high to converse comfortable and felt like the other tables were on top of us. That was my only complaint. Would prefer more spacing. Thanks for a fun night out!

    Catch has gone steadily downhill over the years. The food is pretty good but not great as it should be for these prices. The portions are insultingly small. The service is attentive and friendly but the pace of the meal is very rushed. The atmosphere is hectic.

    Having dinner at the restaurant was okay, but then our server brought us the check without asking us if we wanted something else. Told us we have to leave the restaurant and come back in again if we wanted to stay at the bar. When we did, at the door they told us only table service was available starting at 600 dollars. Obviously we didn’t stay. I don’t recommend this place at all.

    Food was amazing , bar was a little on the higher end as far as cost . We had an 8:15 pm reservation but was seated around 9:10 pm which through off other plans , however , the amazing food was well worth the wait :)
