Food was very good but expensive for the portions served! Employees were very nice and friendly but service was very slow! Everyone who worked there had great style!
Catch was absolutely fantastic! The food was fantastic but it can be a little loud just a heads up. Fantastic restaurant in the BEST part of Manhattan!
Catch is a NYC favorite for me. Food is always delicious and ambiance is great.
I would only recommend for drinks (which we have done in the past), but decided to have a special birthday dinner and we were underwhelmed by the portions and the food itself. But the absolute worst was that our table was on the top floor and it was VERY ,VERY HOT. We were all sitting there sweating during dinner and we were served water with NO ice. I had to ask 3 times to have get some ice for the water. It was really uncomfortable and not a pleasant experience.
We were seated next to the blasting air conditioner. Asked the staff to turn it down or off but he said he wasn’t able to. Not until he stood next to me, only realizing how freezing cold it actually was, he moved the fan so it blew a different direction. Previously we also asked to be moved but the waiter told us we would have to walk back to the hostess stand and ask ourselves. Food was good and came out quickly. Hostess aren’t friendly at all. Our waiter did his best.
Everything about Catch was great other then waiting for table over an hour past our reservation time. Kind of a bummer. Food amazing but they need to pump AC more. Hot and stuffy
I had my birthday at Catch la
Food food food !! It’s always exceptional here !! Catch does a great job with food presentation and flavor is always on point !! Drinks are always unique and super tasty !! Very nice dining date/lounge place for anyone in this neck of the city !! Well worth a trip from the otter boroughs or even Jersey ! Highly recommended
Delicious!!! Everything was yummy. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t enjoy. Portions were small for some of the dishes we had to order multiple, but the flavors were on point. Great quality seafood! Definitely plan on returning.
Great food and atmosphere. They accommodated us moving to their rooftop which was amazing and perfect for the weather. Food was delicious. Nice trendy vibe and would definitely recommend.
so yummy!! we got the Catch roll, MRC Roll, croque madame, and truffle fries. the fries were so delicious and the food was great. the balcony lounge seating has a nice view of nyc and it’s so pretty in the summer. loved the restaurant and definitely coming back!!
To be honest it was the worst service ever in my nyc life. There weren’t any waiter around for a long time we had to wait a lot to ask menu, or order more food. I saw one of the lady waiter sat with some group at the table for around 10-20 min. I can’t say bad for the food Ceviche was really good. But I am not sure it’s worth to go that place again bc service was really awful
Low moderate service
Don’t make any effort to make you satisfy
Excellent! Everything was great!
I loved Catch. The only thing that I would say is that I had a reservation a 9:00 PM and even though I had to wait at the bar for 15-20 min to be seated. But I always come back anyway.
The food and service were both amazing. It was very loud and the energy level was high
Excellent food and service. Thursday night dinner-extremely loud and difficult to hear any table conversation otherwise five stars.
The food was wonderful. A little pricey. Drinks were absolutely outrageously priced. $21 for a cosmo and it was tiny. That was my only complaint.
My husband and I had a great dinner at Catch. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. After dinner we went up to the rooftop bar. The DJ was playing some fun throwback songs and everyone was enjoying themselves. My only complaint is that the air conditioner was blowing directly into my face the entire meal and no matter which seat I sat in I couldn't escape it. However, with that being said, I'd still go back in a heartbeat!
One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to im a long time! The mussels, shrimp, snapper, lobster rolls, all delicious. Service was great as well, server was attentive and friendly. Ambience made me feel like I was in the Hamptoms, yet you're having a wonderful dinner on a rooftop.
Were from LA and thought it would be great to check out Catch NYC... a big dud. Don’t waste your time. Terrible customer service and the food was average at best. They tried to emulate LA and felll way short. And management could care less - go to a real NYC gem and skip the wannabe’s...
If I could give one star ⭐️ I would!
The service was horrible and we barely saw our waiter. And when he showed up i was so angry because I asked them to pack my leftover and he told me that the helper had trashed everything away and he never gave me any discounts and I paid almost $350 for a meal that was thrown away!!! It’s really the worst service
Amazing food and service! The mojito was fantastic!
Great service all around. B
The crispy rice cakes with tuna tartare was outstanding as well as the spicy shrimp and lobster roll!!!!
Food was amazing even though i don’t personally eat seafood due to allergies—friends said everything was on point!
We got 3 orders of sashimi, lobster Mac and cheese, and a side of brussel sprouts. I also ordered a glass of Pinot Gris. Our waiter took our order, all of our food arrived before my wine. Our actual waiter did not return until the end of the meal, other wait staff brought us our meal. No one refilled our water the entire meal or came by to check in. The serving device in the center of the table was also loose and wobbling around. The food was OK, the fish was fresh. The lobster Mac and cheese was on the salty side, but still pretty good. The brussel sprouts were cooked well. Given the lack of service, I don't really think it was worth the price.
Went for Sunday brunch! It was cute
One of my favorite places in the city.Enjoy sitting on the roof over looking the city. The food is excellent many great choices and the service is top notch on this visit our server was Stephane who made great suggestions and always had a smile on her face a real pro and the people next to us who were from Denmark said the same thing.
Service was poor. After waiting over 30 minutes after our first course, our server asked us if we were still waiting for food. Then she asked what food we were waiting for. It’s understandable that at a busy place there will be oversights, but it was especially disappointing that the server didn’t take responsibility for it.
Our server was amazing, and made awesome recommendations. Drinks were delish and everything we ordered from sushi menu was top notch. Don’t go here expecting not to spend $$$$ but we feel the prices were worth the experience.
Our service was awful. The waiter inattentive to the table as he seemed overwhelmed. All of our drinks were ordered correctly but delivered wrong. The tables are so tight together the other servers backsides kept brushing up into us. Food overall was good but not exceptional.
Sooo yum! Snotty hostess overshadowed by excellent servicer, great food and super drinks!
Our third time to Catch NYC. Very young-active environment. Food is great! Will go again. The Truffle ceviche is amazing.....
Not a typical brunch. Was very excited to visit for a long time. Food was average at premium prices and drinks were super expensive. No music and no atmosphere. It seemed to be more of a family get together place.
I am very disappointed. Being in the industry and working in hospitality with the Ritz Carlton and Starwood, the Catch was pretty bad. Honestly I haven’t had such bad service in a while. I have traveled from Los Angeles and specifically chose Catch for the the brand rep and really wanted my family to enjoy the experience, but it was totally the opposite. After I made a reservation and provided notes on my request which was outside seating they denied it because apparently we can’t have more than 7ppl but a rooftop capacity can certainly accommodate that. Water was never filled we never where asked how was our food and lastly when we spoke with the manager with colorful dreadlocks “Amanda” was like sorry we can’t do anything which means that she decided to not deliver fully. Terrible, once a brand is obtain especially in NYC at least you can consider providing a experience genuinely. This is how you obtain success. Anyways I left embrassed because I pushed for Catch instead of other great restaurants in the city , my family had a poor experience. Side note the beyond Burger we ordered took literally 45mins to get to the table. Honestly I would never refer Catch to my network nor family again.
Everything was great
Waiter was excellent
I enjoyed my night
Menu slightly complex. Otherwise good.
Eclectic array of food. The rolls we ate were excellent. Mussels were poor... under cooked and the accompanying bread was too oily. Fries were very good. Excellent service. Trendy and fun.
Restaurant is on the second third and rooftop floors of this meat packing district building in lower Manhattan. The weight staff was attentive professional and very helpful. He explained how most people share the dishes in a somewhat tapas style. We ordered oysters and then a two tiered special of sushi, sushimi, Alaskan crab and lobster. Not knowing how big that was we were contemplating splitting an entree and our server suggested we wait to do that. What a great suggestion because it would have been too much food. The place was comfortably crowded and the noise level was high but we did not strain to speak whatsoever. I loved the buzz inside the room. What a great place. Food, drink and ambiance were great.
