    Catch has fresh, beautifully prepared seafood as well as other dishes. The chef is very creative and also offers nightly special selections not on the regular menu. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Wilmington!

    Was looking forward to a great meal. Oysters were not fresh. Octopus was cooked well but arrived cold. Seared Ahi tuna was terrible. Not fresh! Salmon was inedible. Noodles tasted like soap. Ambiance was lacking. Very disappointed. Won't return.

    Do not let the location and building exterior fool you... This is a not-to-be-missed gem in Wilmington! Excellent food, fantastic service, and an overall top notch experience. Awesome for a date night. We will be back!!!

    From the moment we arrived to a warm greeting, the almost lyrical way our server Deni described the evening specials, the pace of the meal, the attention from the staff were impeccable. The food ?!?! OFF THE HOOK!! Incredibly delicious. 10/10 ! 5 stars!

    We think Catch is the top restaurant in Wilmington. We just wish it were somewhere more accessible and beautiful. Perfect service, fresh fish and great food. Awesome bartender.

    Disappointing. ☹️ Servers and front of house were great, food was bland. Caesar salad was good, but a big let down after that. I had the shrimp and grits - I had better grits on the hotel buffet this morning. He said the breading on the fried platter tasted “weird” - after he peeled it off, he said the fish and shrimp were good. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    My wife and I decided to visit here because it was one of the first restaurants we ate at 4 years ago while we were on vacation. Since then we moved into the area for retirement and wanted to relive the great memory of our first visit. It was a smart choice as the service was top notch and food was delicious! We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell and a Smoked Old Fashion and a vodka Martini with Blue Cheese olives. For main entrees we had Ribs with Shrimp and a daily special Lobster Drunken Noodles. We will be enjoying our leftovers today!

    The server was phenomenal. I have no idea how she remembers every detail about the special but she was on point. The food was just ok. It was good but not wow factor that I was expecting. The swordfish wasn’t super flavorful. The eggplant had a surprisingly nice tang to it and even saw some what looked like raisins in there and had a little chuckle. The mushrooms were a little chewy. There was some oil drizzled on the plate that could have been omitted as it didn’t seem to pack much flavor just oiliness/heaviness. I drizzled a little of the herbed oil that came with the bread on the last few bites of fish for more flavor. The sweet potato salad was ok too. The dressing was sweet and balanced the greens and the potatoes tasted smoked maybe a little heavy. Overall not bad. But again, not living up to the hyped reviews. I would go back and try another dish though. The pleasant all around wait staff was the highlight. Other servers and the hostess were as charming as my server was. 10/10 for service.

    Don't let the strip mall style location fool you - this place is the real deal! Interior decor is soothing and tastefully done. Our server, Kim, immediately saw to our every need with an infectious enthusiasm for her place of work and its offerings. Raw oysters on the half shell starter were perfect - briny, of good size, and not a fleck of seashell. Excellent cocktail sauce (though I would have liked a small side of fresh horseradish to notch up the tanginess a bit). Cocktails perfectly prepared and classy in presentation. Caesar salads fresh and the homemade dressing outstanding. My wife's entree of shrimp and grits was pronounced "the best she had ever had" and my entree of smoked ribs and shrimp was absolutely top of the mark - great ribs with just the right amount of sauce finish and a "fall of the bone" chew accompanied by shrimp which were very lightly fried without any heavy breading to take away from their obvious quality. The many great reviews we read which brought us to this location were nothing if not accurate. The chef clearly has pride in his/her work, selects top quality ingredients, and has dedicated servers who know their stuff and seem to have great pride in representing their brand. In short, we are already planning a return trip for next year. Outstanding!

    We had a wonderful wedding anniversary at Catch, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate. We had appetizers and meal specials, and they were outstanding! Our waiter was friendly and helpful when we were having a hard time deciding on our dishes- Everything sounded great! Highly recommend!

    Found out about this place from Mark Wiens YouTube and going there for the first time and for the wife’s 40th birthday and we love it! The shrimp and grits is the best I’ve ever had and the grouper was awesome! The coconut cake slice sealed it! The service was very good and we will be coming back every time we’re headed this way!

    We had the Sweet Potato Salad which is always excellent! Three out of four people ordered the Soft Shell Crab and everyone loved it. I had the Grouper and it did not disappoint! Drinks were amazing as always!

    This is an interesting restaurant for Aruba as it doesn't have an ocean view and the location is not ideal. It is apparent they they were going for something different as the interior of the restaurant is very modern, more like a NYC eatery than in Aruba. The food is amazing. Everything we ate - delicious, well prepared and served. Drinks were fantastic. We would go back

    We had an amazing dinner at Catch! Potentially the best food we’ve had in Wilmington! Every bite was magnificent. Our server was kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Some items were already gone by the time we ate so go early if you want to ensure specials!

    First rate birthday dinner at Catch! After interesting cocktails and tasty Brussel sprouts roasted to perfection, I had the shrimp and grits, and my date (for the 39th birthday in a row) had the grouper. We could not have been more pleased... but we did still manage to share a piece of chocolate cake. You know, because birthdays 🎂 The service was great -- casual but attentive. We will definitely be back

    Took my family out for my husband's birthday dinner. We enjoyed every dish. Shrimp and grits were a little salty but still excellent with the addition of mushrooms. Basil oil and bread to start were a favorite. Pinky and the brain cocktail with smoked salt was a fun and delicious alternative to a margarita. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely return.

    Food and service lived up to the reviews. Creative menu and tasted wonderfully. Restaurant interior small and charming- not completely overwhelming in design but that’s also the charm of it. Service and staff great, attentive and warm.

    Catch was the best restaurant choice we could have made during our visit to Wilmington! The service was great, 10/10, but the food and drinks stole the show. For drinks, we both ordered their “Pinky in the Brain.” Tequila, plum honey purée, lemons, pink peppercorns, and smoked salt. Great presentation and a wonderful pairing of flavors. 10/10. Food-wise, we ordered their swordfish special and their scallops entree. The swordfish was flavorful and its pairings were well thought out, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t writing this review because of their scallops. Words can not do these scallops justice. We’re looking for excuses to drive the 4 hours back to Wilmington just to order their scallops. Like scallops? Great! Don’t like scallops? You will after having these! Never had a scallop? Order Catch’s! Just know you’ll be chasing the high that each bite of Catch’s scallops give with every scallop you eat in the future. Fresh, bright, morsels of pure perfection. Thank you Catch for one of the best dining experiences we’ve had.
