Not the experience advertised. Food was mediocre. Atmosphere as well.
I was disappointed that they had changed their menu and no longer offered conch fritters.
The food was great and the view added an extra treat.
Not typically a fan of staying in hotels to dine, but I'm glad we did on this particular trip. Service was outstanding as was our entire meal.
expected outdoor table. not available
Servers and hostess very nice. Soup was room temperature and not much better after nuking it. Our entrees were also less than Hot. Unfortunately there was a group of women who were all drunk and so loud we cud not escape them even after we moved to a different table. To management's credit they comped out entree and appetizer, so that was a good move. Maybe on another night it wud be better, but we were pretty dissappointed
The food tasted amazing and our waitress was great and very attentive!
bright atmosphere, very delicious shrimp, fish and chips, seared salmon, lovely wait person
Good fish options and prepared well
The smell in the restaurant is not very pleasant. Were there with friends and a little kid for breakfast. Ordered eggs sunny side and were waiting for around 40 min. There were only 2 small tables besides us. Overall - not recommended.
We are from the West Coast and enjoyed sitting near the window and looking out over Biscayne Bay. The food and service were fabulous. The only reason we didn't sit outside was that it was a bit windy. That option is available, however, and the view is great!
A little disappointing, the food was marginal thus the service was excellent. Outside seating was under construction therefor the view was somewhat obstructed.
Quality of the food did not match the price paid
Pre-theater dining... disappointment. We were hoping to find a good spot that is convenient. The valet was great! There was another server there who was very helpful: Raul(?). However our server provided crummy service with a bad attitude. We told him we were in a hurry but he was not helpful in brining out food out, and others who ordered before us got served. The food was good--kind of high price, but I guess for the area it's comparable. The crab cakes were good, and so were the quesadillas, and the scallops were great (although somehow the potatoes had be served separately -- at least 10 minutes later).
Our waiter was great and got all our picky eater menu-changes right! We were very pleasantly surprised, and it was nice not to be in an over crowded, loud place. Outside seating is lovely.
Food was good when it finally arrived. We were told was issues in the kitchen. It took almost 2 hrs to be served. Management apologized and gave us free drinks and apps. Not what I expected from a Marriott restaurant
It was ok. Service so slow and actually the table next to us server helped us more. The waterfront was great but seating outstide poor and not near water. Luckily, the food and drinks were amazing but definitely service and ambience lacked completely.
Good for casual dining after work with friends. Food was very good and we enjoyed the view.
Nelly was excellent!
This as a highly disappointing experience. We made a reservation for 3 pm, but when we arrived there was no host to greet or seat us. There was no one at that station the whole time we were at the restaurant, in fact. We were there for 10 minutes before we got menus and a server. When our server took our orders, she did not write them down. Five minutes later, she had to come back and ask us each what we ordered again, still never writing it down. It took a total of 50 minutes for the 5 of us to get food, with the majority of the orders being appetizers. When the food came out, some orders were incorrect and others were missing their sides and accompaniments. By this time, we were already late returning to our conference at the nearby arena, and still had to wait and continually ask for our server to return to refill water and bring out checks, and then to bring our change. We truly regret choosing this restaurant on our visit to Miami.
Food was really good and the service was excellent!
A diverse group of 6 , all agreed we would return. Good food, reasonable price , relaxed environment
Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Loved the fish tacos !
Not very impressed with this resturant.
Ashley the bartender and Rick the waiter did a great job!!
I ordered the shrimp skewers and was VERY disappointed. 8 tiny shrimp and glorified mac and cheese for $26. What a joke. It was a decent tasting meal but nothing special and WAY over priced. I also ordered a strawberry Mojito and I am pretty sure they skipped the alcohol. So in the end I hate about have of my mediocre food and left feeling very unsatisfied for a nice hefty $50 bill. I did not complain and realize I should have. So disappointed and I will not recommend the restaurant.
Expensive dishes and horrible, dry food. Portions were small. Took over 30 minutes to have the entres.
Went for Mothers Day. Overall was pretty good. Location is great and restaurant has a nice view. The restaurant looks new and attracted a good crowd. However, food was just ok and a bit overpriced. Skirt steak was overcooked and didn't have great flavor. Kids french toast was tuff. Breakfast buffet was worth it. Probably won't return unless I'm in the area and want to try their lunch or staying in the hotel.
Great food and service the place was inexpensive the scenery was amazing
As always, the atmosphere, food and hospitality was exemplary.
The food was very good. The service was very poor.
Made a reservation on open table for 730 we arrived at 740 because traffic was insane. Host told us he wasnt aware of the reservation and got the manager. We waited like 5 mins and then got sat. Beautiful ambiance.
Waiter seemed to be only waiter working & took awhile to get to table and and take orders. I ordered the corn of week and he never told me they were out until food came out . Just all in all took awhile
It's got a drop dead location in a marina but everything else was so-so. It's ok for a nothing special meal, especially if you want to be on the water.
Good option for dinner before a show at the Arsht, but be sure you reserve early so that you have plenty of time!
Outdoor seating was beautiful and quiet, (inside was VERY noisy). Food was generally very tasty and very reasonably priced!
Slow, Forgetful and Bland
For a pre-theater dinner we booked at the Catch Bar & Grill. While not a particularly busy night the bar/restaurant was at a fairly high noise volume, making it fairly difficult to converse across a small table which was already in the rear far from the front bar . Several requests to our waitress were either ignored or forgotten, and when added to delivery of the wrong dish (one out of four ) it seemed the waitress was more intent on serving a larger party across the room. While the dishes we ordered were at best satisfying a hunger, there were no memorable taste or presentations to note. Our selections were all in the fish category, but really could have been interchangeable for the lack of flavor differentiation. As it was a rather late decision to dine downtown on a Friday evening our usual haunts were already booked. Its unlikely we'll return to this Marriott restaurant unless its for a drink on the harbor veranda, which is does have an exquisite view out on the bay. For a social drink, and perhaps a burger, this is a great casual stop if attending the Arsht or an afternoon or evening performance.
Food was above average, service was OK as long as you keep an eye on the waiter, who tends to disappear.
Overall good fare for a hotel lobby restaurant, but not a unique experience.
A good place to dine for a group when no one can agree on where to eat. Five minute walk to the Arsht Theatre makes it a convenient pre-show location & free valet
Waiter was not very attentive and our meal took about 2 hours for appetizers and main course. Seems a bit excessive.
The staff and bartenders are very good. We had two breakfast buffets that were great with a lot of choices, omelette - waffle station. You can sit out by the dock and bay. We loved the Cuban sandwich, nachos, grouper strips and fine were the guacamole, fish dip and hamburger
Great breakfast buffet
The food was rather disappointing. Ordered salt and pepper calamari and crab cakes and a mojito - the calamari were too oily and bottom half of the bowl filled with crumbs. Crab cakes ok but not wow. Both sauces served with the orders - yuk, no no!!
Music too loud or maybe I booked the wrong time, crowded at the entrance with a lot of people standing and drinking. Not a good experience really.
Friendly Waitress tho.
Convenient to our event at tha arscht center to avoid driving around a lot during rush hour.
Beautiful view of the water, and our waitress was great.
Main courses were ok, appetizers were good, and we were there during happy hour
